How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

All great
Perfect location. Homely. Excellent facilities and every need taken care of. The property has been well thought about layout and facilities wise. Nice pool area, chill out lounge with massage chairs, coffee/tea making station, nice kitchenette in each apartment that is well equipped and a bonus laundry room. Owner was very prompt to answer or sort out any issues in person. We had the two apartments upstairs with a communal lounge/dining area and lovely balcony with great views. Overall a steal of a find with all amenities and excellent service.

Absolutely love the location and how clean everything is. I wished I could stay for more than a day. The massage sofas were very comforting and all the facilities offered were appreciated! The staff welcomed us very warmly and even the owner is extremely friendly. Everyone ensured we were attended well and was responsive to our extra requests.

We did opt for the budget option so not really didn't like per se but but don't expect grand,.it's all perfectly functional. Examples being no proper.curtain rail but hooked over window and DIY wardrobes. But still enjoyed our stay and would recommend
The pool was great and location was good walking distance to most eateries in La Gaulette. Overall location good for accessing both Le Morne and Black River Rooms were spacious, shipping containers are quite large after all 😄

The flat we had was extremely spacious and probably also great for families. The pool is definitely a plus, as there is no beach in walking distance. We would recommend to have a car while staying in the area to explore beaches and hiking opportunities in the area which we loved. There are great restaurants in walking distance though as well as a supermarket. Host is great and responds super quickly to all messages.

The accommodation is set at and in a great location, the room and balcony were massive (can host a whole family), the common areas are very spacious and clean as well, and there is a beautiful garden with pool. Check-in was too easy. I recommend staying here.

The apartment is fully equipped and very spacious. It is also within walking distance to restaurants and supermarket and public transport. Charlotte is a real gem and very hands on.

The room was great with a very large terrace with beautiful views. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. It was also in a good location quite near le morne beach. I would recommend it!

The parking was a bit too small for 3 cars + was muddy due to water leaking at the rear of it.

The owners were not around to welcome us and there are multiple apartments in one compound, so we went around looking for our place whilst the other occupants were quite weary of us, one even sent their son to lock their apartment door! Check out is way too early at 10am! We asked the owner for just an additional 30mins extra and he replied at 10.15am saying he could not give it to us as there were other people checking in, it was literally just allowing us another 15mins extra, which he denied. The apartment was also not as aesthetically pleasing as depicted in the pictures and definitely over priced!
The apartment is spacious and has a neat bathroom, a functioning kitchen and decent beds. Good enough for an overnight stay

Lizard infestation issue, trouble getting stove to work, limited parking.
Great location, spatious room, lovely balcony view, lovely pool, high security and room comes with a safe.

We barely slept due to the dogs howling and barking. Obviously that is way beyond the control of the hosts, there was nothing more they could do to make it a great stay.
Beautifully equipped and so comfortable. Great facilities were within walking distance and we managed to see a sunset over the sea. The pool was an added bonus as was the massage chair! Perfect location for dolphins excursions from Le Morne Yacht club.
