The stand out feature of The Oberoi was the service. Every member of staff was helpful, efficient and friendly. From the outset we received a warm welcome and staff remembered our names, our drinks preferences, were interested in the activities we were engaged in and were always on hand to assist in any way they could. When our homeward flight was delayed, the hotel team was very helpful and extended our checkout time to make the situation as easy and stress-free as possible. Another exceptional feature of The Oberoi was the quality of the food. There were several different restaurant options, all serving wonderful food with great variety. Consequently, we had no desire to eat anywhere other than at the hotel. The Indian and Mauritian items on the menus in particular made each meal exciting and memorable and were always excellent. We loved sitting in the bar at sunset with a cocktail before dinner. The spa was also beautiful, offering a range of treatments in a magical setting. All in all, we enjoyed our trip immensely. Thank you for looking after us so well and we look forward to returning soon.

SwitzerlandBest place to be! We have spent 10 days at The Oberoi Beach Resort and we enjoyed it so much! The rooms are great: super clean, comfortable bed, plenty of space, very nice bathroom and the view is stunning! The restaurants do a great job: food is freshly prepared and very delicious, the drinks are super refreshing! The menu’s are for every taste. They are super flexible and ensure your taste preference and needs are met. We especially enjoyed the Restaurant ‚On The Rocks‘! The pools and beaches do invite you to relax and linger. The whole hotel complex with the beautiful garden is so well maintained and blends in very nicely with the nature of Mauritius - so much love and passion to details! The entire hotel team, from reception, over waiters to the housekeeping team and gardeners are outstanding: they are living pure hospitality & care, ensuring you have the best time with them! A special call out to Amanda, Mevin, Yash and Solomon, which absolutely exceeded our expectations! We thank the entire team for making our stay unforgettable! Greecefrom the first moment staff catered to our needs. we had early check in and late check out! activities with snorkeling and glass bottom were great. we wish we stayed more so we would participated in painting pottery classes and stargazing etc. the room with the private pool was beautiful with nice private garden. it felt we were in heaven! the hotel had nice old statues from volcanic Rock from ancient civilization which makes it special. every view is carefully thought and every place is nicely decorated with taste.. it is worth it to stay in this hotel. is like being transported in another world... hotel is very romantic for couples and people who want to stay in tranquille environment to relax. we appreciated the absence of loud music in the bars and in the beach.

United Kingdomonly down side would be that the swimming pool wasn't right by the beach. Also, there were a lot of bird feathers in the swimming pool which made the pool due to the birds swimming lots in the pool. Wasn't a major issue but just an observation for improvement.
Oberoi was stunning! Food was the best we had whilst in Mauritius. The service was incredibly....the house keepers were so attentive and offered me a maternity pillow and added nice touches to our babymoon. The rooms are super comfortable and luxurious. We had left another hotel in Mauritius due to it not being a good enough 5* and we are so glad we picked the Oberoi as it really is beautiful and just so relaxing.

Also, at one point, we asked for french fries and they gave us a cold plate of fries, some of them already dipped in ketchup, and a jar af ketchup that was almost empty. It was clear that they gave us leftovers. Plus, the breakfast is quite poor.
