Austria1. Buffet restaurant needs improvement: a. underline daily „special theme“ and communicate it = island 10 is otherwise lost in the shuffles b. I like the idea of serving Indian and local food, however they are mostly spicy = 4 out of 5. Impossible for children and for sensitive stomach. No wonder everyone wants to eat a la carte. c. Settle Chinese or simple Asian food as daily standard. This is a standard. Everyone likes it d. Reduce the pastries, introduce ice cream, especially for children. I didn’t ask. But someone told me if I asked my children would recelve ice cream. e. A la carte reservation system is nontransparent. The same night after arrival, we were told no a la carte available until the night before we leave. But then other tourists managed to receive it immediately whereas I had to pursue, because of our sensitive stomach. f. I noticed the hotel is generally preferred by group tourism. Makes the individual tourists a bit left alone. Faults design of shower. The drain is not placed on the lowermost position inside shower.
1. The hotel is perfectly located in Balaclava to spend August holiday in Mauritius. 2. Ravenala Attitude has one of the cleanest beach in Mauritius. They even clean up the sea grasses. Keep the good work! 3. The House Keeping cleans efficiently and carefully. Thank you for providing comfort day after day. 4. The animation team goes above and beyond. Very creative but not too pushy (in terms of pursuing participation) . Thank you, sorry I wasn’t able to join the beach volleyball.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Boathouse staff so nice and helpful, really enjoyed the activities. We enjoyed the dancing in the evenings.

United KingdomWe were lucky enough to be upgraded to luxury suite. The rooms were huge but felt a little tired and probably in need of updating (which we noticed was already underway elsewhere in the hotel). Very minor point really.
The hotel has a fantastic relaxed vibe. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do anymore for you. The grounds were immaculately presented and well maintained. The food was great in the buffet and the restaurants. We enjoyed O beach the most. The games and activities are awesome and the entertainment team were always about having fun. Finally the staff in the boat house went above and beyond on a daily basis, laughing, joking and having fun with my family when we were going out on either the pedalos, kayaks or hobby cat. Clearly a great team!!

HungaryThe seashore is small, the animals (mostly birds, cats) are flying/running around the at the breakfast place, which is not so hygienic. The hotel is big, it took 5-6 minutes by walk to reach our room. It is on the north side of the island, so you need to travel a lot to see the southern sightseeings. It is a family-friendly hotel, with lots of children, so you need to prepare for that, but the facility area is so big.
Large hotel in a beautiful natural environment and with a short seashore connection, and with lot of restaurants and pools. Very professional and polite and helpful staff, good parking possibilities.

United Kingdomhotel is open air, so there is no aircon other than in your room, in the spa treatment rooms and the gym. There is no aircon in any of the bars or restaurants, and very few ceiling fans too. We went in March when temp and humidity were high - fans to create air movement would have made the temperature more bearable when eating and drinking
Hotel is beautiful. We went 'All Inclusive' which was available from the minute we arrived to when we left. Hotel has multiple restaurants and bars and a beach or pools. We found all staff to be friendly and helpful.

Australiaour room was quite dated and could definitely use an update. It was located on the 3rd level at the very far end of the resort, and without a lift, accessing it was a strenuous effort, especially after a long day.
We really loved the free activities available for teens and the mini club for younger kids, which offered a great variety of fun and engaging activities. It kept the whole family entertained and made our visit even more enjoyable. On top of that, Kelly, the restaurant manager, truly made our dining experience unforgettable. He went above and beyond to accommodate our younger, picky eaters and was incredibly helpful with food recommendations. What stood out the most was Kelly’s calmness and his huge smile, even during busy moments. He treated everyone with respect, including his team, and created such a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend as all our dining experience was top notch when restaurant manager Kelly was around 👌

South AfricaWe traveled to Mauritius this December for the first time with a 4.5month old baby and my 22 month old (two under two so was a daunting trip). I was hesitant about booking the Ravenala Attitude as it is not marketed as family orientated as the likes of club med etc, however, we booked anyway based on value for money and that the beach looked stunning with plenty of shade which is what we needed considering the two Littles. We stayed 9 nights on the all inclusive package. We organized our airport transfer through the hotel which was seamless and included two car seats for our children. After a long day of travelling we arrived at the hotel and were taken aback by the beauty of the hotel. So much natural foliage has been maintained and the architecture is a exquisite blend of modern & natural. We were met by an attentive hostess with a welcome drink and fresh towel which was so welcome. Check in was smooth and the rooms are lovely and spacious. We were a little disappointed as one of the camp cots was faulty and we did not have hot water in one of the rooms. This left me feeling disappointed after a long day of travelling as all I wanted was a hot shower and a safe space for my children to sleep. Unfortunately they were unable to replace the cot that night, however, upon expressing my disappointment with management of the hotel - they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure everything was sorted out (which was done promptly the next morning). Ismail and Videsh from customer relations personally sought after us at breakfast and requested to personally meet with us to Apologise. They were so attentive and understanding and really did go beyond to ensure our first impression was soon forgotten and that the rest of the stay was incredible- which is exactly what it was. The resort is stunning and has so many amenities but what I loved is that nothing was too far away but yet you never felt cramped. The beach is heaven. The food is outstanding.
