Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceThe prices for dinner is around 30 euros per person but the food at lunch is around 8 euros which is around 450 rupees thats a huge différence, just you know before you go. We didn't and caught eating there because we didn't have a car yet. Sometimes the food was very salty especially at Kot Nou but this is easily changeable. I wish staff would give the same attention they give to white people to non white people. Felt a différence of attention / treatment but again these things can be easily improved.
I loved the small sea view apartments especially the tv / sofa area. It gives you more space in a room where usually you only have your bed. So I spent a lot of time inside watching the sea as it was bit cold due to winter season. The restaurant is nice. It is better to book it all inclusive because the price for dinner is around 1800 rupees which is 30 euros per person. Or if you have a car you can drive 2-3 mn up and find two restaurants. We walked two times but there are no lights and little pedestrian walk. They also offer boat rides to ile au cerf which was very nice to organise so you don't need to worry. I loved the bathroom, very spacious, could be a little more cleaner but yeah I am cleanfreak. Loved the staff, very kind, at là boutique as well. They encourage for an ecological stay so they give you water reusable bottles in the beginning so you don't plastic ones. They give you coffee as well in case you want to drink in your room for tea time.

PolandRooms surely need a renovation as they look maybe not old, but used. Could be also a bit cleaner, but it was an acceptable level. Food was good quality, but not great, not terrible in terms of taste. No one informed us that with half-board option dinner drinks are paid additionally. Drinks and meals are terribly inflated. In general our stay was nice, but not as fantastic as we expected from the pictures and description.
Super beautiful location so close to the ocean (no beach, but a public one is very close), the best and the kindest staff we have ever met.

United KingdomThere wasn't anything we didn't like. Perhaps learning that the hotel is right next to a cemetery wasn't great, but in the scheme of things it didn't bother us.
The villa was excellent and the chambermaid always did an excellent job each day. The food was also excellent, prepared to a high standard, plenty of variety and very tasty. The deserts could do with more flavour please.

United KingdomVariety of desserts was rather limited and repetitive.
Layout of hotel was very well designed with sea facing rooms and several little intimate sitting areas around the poolside, many with possibility of serve yourself soft drinks and books to borrow. Staff were all very friendly and helpful - in particular Vikash, Sous Chef gave helpful advice on different meals which he prepared - all very tasty. Among the serving staff Jasraj was outstanding with his big welcome and smiling, willing service.

BulgariaThe furniture could be upgraded a bit, although this was not an obstacle to the nice stay.
A very nice hotel, offering splendid views. The staff is super friendly and kind. The hotel is not directly on the beach, but close enough to a very nice beach (about 5 minutes walk). We liked very much the live entertainment in the evenings, it brings special atmosphere to the place. The food was good and diverse. We enjoyed relaxation under the numerous palms around the hotel, as well as the wonderful sunrises and sunsets. Good value for money. We would gladly visit again.

United StatesMy dislikes are minimal and will not be mentioned. Because I don't want anything to diminish the good vibes.
We were pleasantly surprised with the check-in process. We arrived later at night than planned. However, the receptionist processed our papers and politely encouraged us to go for dinner. The dining staff was awaiting our arrival. That was a wonderful way to e introduced to the property. It was definitely above and beyond our expectations. The live entertainment was excellent and accessible. There was good audience participation. The duo willingly did more than 2 encores. They were well received local Cuban artists. What a pleasant end to a long travel day!

CroatiaI read that the hotel claims to offer both local and international dishes. I believe the meals served in the restaurant are well-prepared, but they are not adapted to guests coming from all parts of the world. Please consider adding chocolate spread to the breakfast. Also, I find the price of beer to be absurdly high(glass of domestic beer around 4,5€), especially when compared to the price of cocktails. Every evening, the same fish was served, and too many dishes were vegetarian.
The hotel is in a very beautiful location. Although it doesn't have its own beach, you can enjoy a stunning sea view while lying under the palm trees. A beautiful beach is just a 5-minute walk away where you can use deck chairs with sunshades . The hotel staff is very friendly, and within the accommodation, you have access to a 30-minute boat ride with a glass bottom, diving, and transportation to a nearby island. Almost every evening, you can enjoy events by the pool. Since we were on our honeymoon, we had some benefits included, such as 30-minute foot massage included, which we extended to 60 minutes, and it was excellent. We also had a beautifully served dinner at the restaurant. The hotel offers all guests a traditional dinner, which is included upon arrival, and I think this is a very nice gesture. The rooms are tidy, and clean towels are available every day, with the cleaning staff changing the towels daily. The hotel is very safe. The service provided at this hotel, when compared to the prices of other accommodations on the island, is in line with the price paid.

NetherlandsThere could be more activities after dinner. Music was very nice but it would have been awesome to have some more interactive options. Maybe movie nights? Or trivia contest?
Small hotel in a beautiful location! The rooms are cute, with lovely views to the sea. They have daily house keeping and our valet Nazimah left funny towel figures every morning. The hotel does not have a beach, but it offers free boat rides to Ile aux Cerfs three times per day. There is also a great beach within 5 minute drive, so it was not a problem for us. The swimming pool and the amazing views were more than enough. The food is good, part of the buffet remains the same, but at least 5 or 6 dishes vary on a daily basis. It’s not gourmet, but we were satisfied and I can happily say we ate well. Shout out to the honeymoon dinner; that’s a courtesy of the hotel and it was absolutely amazing! The massages at the spa were also great.

United KingdomThe lighting in the room was far too dark making shaving and make up very difficult. It would have been nicer to have had the tea and coffee in your room on arrival rather than having to go to reception to get it. The food was basic and the lunchtime a la carte food ( we had burger and chips ) was cold . The wine list was poor. The fruit selection at breakfast was dry which suggested it was put out day after day rather than fresh fruit. The unpopular casserole from the buffet one night became the special of the day at lunch the following day.

ItalyThe lack of a beach where swimming is allowed.
The size of the hotel is perfect … not too small but not to big either. Very laid back and relaxed atmosphere. When we were there the weather was very windy and cloudy … the wind may get very strong and hard to stand for many hours. The hotel has no beach. There is a public one within walking distance.

GermanyFirst of all - we are usually not so much the people for a "hotel vacation" but this was a really nice experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately it was really windy and rainy the time we stayed there, but for sure this is nothing the hotel can be charged of. The cocktails were nice and really cheap for a hotel (like 5 Euro each). I like the concept of the hotel which is caring much on the environment. Unfortunately the glass bottom / snorkeling trip was cancelled due to weather conditions and we have been there too short to redo it on another day. The free transfer to Ile Aux Cerfs is an outstanding feature of the hotel. All in all we had a good stay
