How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewMy recent stay at this hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. While the location is great and amenities were acceptable , the overall experience was marred by a few disappointing aspects. The bar staff were a bright spot in the stay. They were consistently warm, friendly, and made sure guests felt welcome. Their positive attitude and attentiveness truly stood out and became the highlight of my visit.
The hotel staff, in general, seemed quite indifferent and unapproachable. I often felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a guest. Hospitality really fell short of expectations. The food was another letdown—mostly tasteless and lacking variety. I expected a far more diverse and flavourful dining experience.

Particularly Chef Rahul, had an excellent meal at the Horizon Restaurant cooked by him and was served professionally by Akilen (sorry if I have spelt name wrong). Also would like to say thank you to Faizal for his hospitality. Good food, clean and spacious rooms.
Had a mix up with the staff that deal with the Spa. Kept getting told it will be open at a specific time but then was closed each time.

Verified reviewA very warm and welcoming place to stay. The staff were very friendly and service minded. Very relaxing with all-inclusive. Good standard of food in the restaurant and great cocktails in the bar by the pool. Access to free activities such as snorkelling, glass bottom boat trips and pedal boats was very much appreciated by the whole family.

Verified reviewgood access to the beach and had some free activities included with the booking. we asked for lunch boxes when we got into a whole day tour. for my wife's birthday, we got a small cake and a single singer. the mini bar was topped up every day.

Verified review- The beach is beautiful and relaxing. - The resort looks nice at first glance. - Our room was generally clean thanks to daily housekeeping (although we did have some ants, both on the bed and in the bathroom). - We were allowed to stay at the resort and use the facilities until our late afternoon departure.
- Cleanliness around the resort needs serious improvement. Birds were constantly eating from the buffet and people’s plates, and there was bird poop on tables and chairs. - Stray dogs were often wandering around the resort and, several times during our stay, they left poop right in front of our room (upstairs). They were also on the beach, where the same issue happened. - When we asked staff to clean up after the dogs, their response was disappointing, they were rude, dismissive, and even joked about the situation instead of taking it seriously. - Most of the sunbeds at the pool were broken. The ones on the beach were slightly better, but still bad. - The staff didn’t clean the beach tables from empty glasses and trash, nor did they arrange the sunbeds. As a result, the beach looked messy and dirty, even early in the morning. - Bars only opened at 11 AM. Even if alcohol wasn’t available earlier, it would’ve been nice to be able to get a coffee or soft drink in the morning. - The buffet opened right on time, but it wasn’t really ready. Half of the trays weren’t set out yet, and if you came an hour after opening, many trays were already empty because refills were either very slow or didn’t happen at all. The food wasn’t varied at all, it was bland, tasteless, and looked quite unappetizing. There were several days when we just couldn’t find much to eat. We also noticed they sometimes reused leftovers from one meal in the next meals, which felt really off. - The evening entertainment was extremely loud, going on until 11 PM every night. It was nearly impossible to relax or get any sleep during that time, especially if your room was near the pool.

Verified reviewGreat hotel with really nice staff. Location is beautiful, stunning beach however bit windy. Food was decent, rooms spacious. My suggestion though would be to add some drying racks in the room/balcony. Also, it would be nice for the beach bar to be open in the evening with some music. Everyone seemed to hang by the pool bar where there was not enough spaces. Reception staff was really nice especially the manager (I think his name was Jadveer or similar), who really ensured our stay was fantastic!
