Well-equipped villa with great security and a beautiful view, but the beach isn’t suitable for swimming.

The place was decent and conveniently located near services. Security was excellent with cameras and password-protected doors. The villa was fully equipped with everything we needed, especially the kitchen. The view was absolutely beautiful, and the housekeeper was attentive and kind. However, the beach was not suitable for swimming as it was full of rocks and stones.

No name on outside , nor inside gate. Even with clear directions, it was difficult to know which apartment was ours, especially as we first arrived in a downpour.

There is nothing to not like. Everything was perfect!

Amazingly placed, right at the beach and with the sea in front. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Close to other beautiful beaches. Clean and cozy. Had all the amenities needed. Mrs. Claude was also very friendly and helpful.

The location is so ideal, right on the beach, walking distance to restaurants and options for catamaran cruises. It’s excellent value for money for the amount of space you get. Perfect end to our trip in Mauritius!

We spent a fabulous 6 days at this beautiful property right on the beach. The apartment has a nice cosy feel and the location is perfect with several good restaurants in walking distance. The view from the balcony is to die for, and you just have to go down a few steps to be on the beach. Adeline is an amazing housekeeper. She made us feel at home right away and gave us tips where to buy groceries and to go for dinner. The fresh fruit and milk and water in the fridge were a very nice touch. One day, Adeline cooked a delicious creole curry for us.

The journey from the airport is on narrow roads and driving on the left is unusual. But you see the native villages and you get to know what real Mauritius is.

The accommodation is spacious, functionally furnished, with very nice decorations. The apartment has 2 terraces, one with a beautiful view of the bay, the other facing the garden. The sea is just a few steps away and you can swim right away. The location is excellent. I recommend the accommodation to everyone who likes sea views, swimming in the sea and the atmosphere of a native village.

Nothing I can think of.

We loved the location, the direct view on the ocean, the sound of waves all day and the opportunity to see the sun rise. The appartment itself was tastefully decorated and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay from the basket of fresh fruits, the water bottles, the loaf of bread, instant and ground coffee to some essential ingredients such as oil, vinegar, salt, sugar in the fully equipped kitchen, we did not miss anything! The owner was very responsive and Adeline, the maid was very nice and helpful.

In the lounge it would be goof if they had an aircond in the living area.

Location of the villa is just perfect. You are few stairs from the beach. We had apartment in the first floor. It it spacious and well equipped. Perfect for families. We also found very friendly and empathic staff, taking care abut this property.

Too few days, wasted a week over at Flic en Flac!

We were looking for a certain kind of place, non-sterile, comfortable and a certain 'basicness', no frills or fancy............Fabulous place, had a lovely 'feel', relaxed straight away and stayed that way throughout! Adeline was lovely, perfect amount of attention paid to us, lovely lady. Everything near perfect for our expectations!

Very nice three bedroom apartment in Trou D'Eau Douce. The apartment was attractively furnished and well equipped. Particularly noteworthy is the direct beach location. Just go straight from the terrace to the beach and swim. In the vicinity there are various (good) restaurants, small supermarkets and booking options for excursions (e.g. to Ile aux Cerfs). We felt very comfortable here and would love to come back again.

We had a bit of a problem with the power generator alarm that woke us up but the host refunded us fully for that night. We wanted to use a kayak, but it wasn't clear where to find it and we had some communication issues as we don't speak French.

House is located on the beach with views to die for. Close to restaurants, a boat trip boarding point, and a spa just across the road. House is secure, and WI-FI is good. A fully -equipt kitchen and a comfortable bedroom made our stay simply wonderful. Parking is provided in front of the property.
