i like that it was just right at the beach and the wait staff was accommodating

the room itself is very dark, the fan so noisy , and the WATER STANK. i complained to the staff and nothing was rectify and staff was nonchalant. only at the last night i spoke to Jezeel and he managed to provide me with some sort of service recovery.

The hotel is right on the beach, and the beach is lovely. Calm inlets to snorkel and swim, powdery white sand, palm trees for shade. As a scuba diver, I really appreciated the Liquid Salt dive center affiliated with the hotel. It made arranging my dive trips effortless, and the dive masters were lovely. Some of the best diving I've done. The hotel is not at all pretentious, just...comfortable and welcoming. They have several lounging areas with soft chairs and bean bags, a library of take-one-leave-one books, and board games. I happened to finish the book I brought while there, and swapped it for another. I have foods I can't eat, and the chef was very accommodating, making me customized meals and really taking care of me. It made such a difference since I was there during Ramadan and the few outside restaurants were mostly closed. After Aveyla I transferred to another island for a different diving experience, but I didn't like it nearly as much. I wish I had stayed! And if/when I come back to Maldives, I will choose Aveyla again.

Location on the beach but the beach is very average, rocks in the front spoil the scenery ( I got it they protect the sand) but…

It’s overpriced and nobody really cares. They do the job but there is no personal touch. The island itself should be just a stop over, there r nicer ones in this atoll but it is hard to know when u do ur bookings for the first time. There r many instructions to the tourists that r straightforward and u feel like u r a student in the camp. And yes, u have to ask for the hand soap otherwise u need to get to the shower to pump body wash and return to the sink.

I enjoyed my short stay in Aveyla! Very comfortable rooms. Easy access to the beach, friendly stuff, everything clean. Beautiful gym where I could continue my daily workouts with the breathtaking view and fresh breeze. This was one of the highlights of my stay. Perfect place for holidays. Thank you for having us!

I really loved my stay here. Aveyla Manta has a wonderful feel to it and has taken a piece of my heart. Very relaxed and laid back.. just perfect. Ryshyn and. Jaziyl made sure I was ok & checked in on me, which was so very sweet. Both lovely people. There is a wealth of books to read & board games too in a little lounge area. I went diving. It was amazing! Turtles, baby sharks, so many beautiful fish, the reef is stunning. Even snorkeling in on the hotels beach is breath takingly beautiful. The beach is stunning. Dusty white sands plenty of sun beds and swings in the shade. The most perfect setting 🫶🏼 Breakfast was varied, plenty of choice. Lunch menu was so tasty and very affordable, prices from $7 - $20. I would highly recommend staying here. It is so very peaceful. There isn’t anything at all I disliked about the property.. I would loved to have stayed an extra week ✨ Thank you to Ryshyn, Jaziyl and all the staff at Aveyla Manta. 💜

Thank you to jazeel and team for a wonderful stay. Made us feel very welcome, even booked our departure flights to male. Great location straight onto bikini beach. Great food, we had an early flight on departure day so they took us to the airport and even packed us a breakfast to take with us. Would highly recommend

Aveyla Accommodation & Liquid Salt Divers – A Memorable Stay and Dive Experience My stay at Aveyla Accommodation was fantastic. The room was very comfortable and well-maintained, providing a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The guesthouse has a peaceful atmosphere, making it easy to unwind and take in the beauty of the island. Diving with Liquid Salt Divers was the highlight of my trip. The team is professional and knowledgeable, ensuring safe and exciting dives at breathtaking locations. The underwater life is amazing, and both seasoned divers and beginners will find something to love. I enjoyed my experience so much that I hope to return not just as a guest, but as a friend. The warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression, and I truly hope to stay in touch. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay and an unforgettable diving experience, I highly recommend Aveyla and Liquid Salt Divers.

The hotel's location is commendable, with its proximity to Hanifaru Bay providing easy access to the breathtaking manta ray sightings that we were fortunate to experience. But that’s all.

A series of disappointments and miscommunications I would like to share here. 1. Pre-Arrival Issues: Prior to my arrival, I requested the hotel to assist with booking a flight from Malé to Dharavandhoo and inquired about other excursion options. It took an inordinate amount of time for the hotel to respond, and when the hotel manager Jazzel did, he did not provide me with the flight details, only instructing me to make a transfer. This lack of courtesy and information made my travel planning extremely challenging. In the end, I had to book the flight myself, which turned out to be CHEAPER. 2. Chaotic Arrival: Upon our arrival, the designated pick-up person was seated in the vehicle, and we spent a considerable amount of time in the rain trying to locate him. This was a stark contrast to other hostels that had clear signage and were eagerly waiting for their guests in the arrival hall. 3. Disorganized Departure: We were informed that a car would be available to take us to the airport at 11 AM. However, the driver never showed up. Despite the restaurant staff's efforts to contact the driver, there was no response. We were left with no choice but to carry our luggage and run to the airport under the scorching sun for approximately 1 kilometer. 4. Lack of Information: Upon arrival, we were not provided with essential information about the daily activities such as morning yoga sessions and evening shark talks. We only accidentally learned about these offerings on the last day of our stay, which significantly detracted from the full experience we could have had. 5. Hidden Charges: I was not informed beforehand that there would be a 3.5% service charge for using a Visa card. This unexpected fee was an unpleasant surprise and added to the overall dissatisfaction. 6. Misleading Pricing: We had arranged a night fishing excursion with Liquid Salt, the diving shop of Aveyla, through Mr. Jazeel.

Everything was perfekt. The location is awesome, directly on the beach and everyone is super friendly. It is the perfect place to stay when you want to see mantas. I definitely recommend going on the diving and snorkeling excursions they organize every day

The island is small hence everywhere is accessible and walkable. Dive company linked to the hotel makes it fuss free for divers. Direct access to the bikini beach too!

Room is a little dim. Would appreciate better lighting.

The hotel is located at the sea shore and has direct access to bikini beach with nice area for snorkeling. Personal of the hotel is very friendly and helped with everything I asked for. Very nice place to stay in Dharavandhoo Maldives.

Nothing to complain, everything was just perfect. Only thing which could be improved to update bed linen and towels to newer ones.

Food - very few veg options. Smell in room and bad smell in bathroom. Seemed musty and not sure if cleaned and aired properly. Restaurant staff - except for one man, the others need training - kept forgetting orders and were very slow to deliver. Sand flies on beach - many! We would have appreciated a warning Local travel arrangements - our requirements were intimated in advance but arrangements were made at the last minute by the hotel. I was informed about a change in departure time and mode only a few hours before my flight!
