Love staying here. Really clean, relaxing, beautiful property and the rooms are big, well decorated and so comfortable. The owners and staff are chatty and helpful and I just loved being here. They also have a dive and snorkeling centre and diving was amazing. They are really flexible with the diving and snorkeling so if a whale shark is in the bay anywhere they will take you there immediately and continue diving afterwards, same with the mantas. Great guides to dive with and the dive sites are amazing, so much fish life; plus you never know what you will see swimming above you or below you.

This property is perfection for all types of travellers. We had families, couples and solo travellers whilst I was there. The meeting area (outdoor lounge area) was a great place for everyone to meet, chat and get to know eachother. Having the dive centre attached was an added bonus as they offer 3 dives/snorkels a day (weather dependent) and will also come get you if something interesting happens in the bay like whale sharks or mantas arrive. They also come get you if the weather changes and you can now go back out after missing a morning boat trip because of weather. The rooms are big, bathrooms are big with warm water, fresh drinking water is provided in the main area for no extra charge along with tea and coffee. The beds are comfortable and the whole vibe of the place is relaxing within a big family. They provide free push bikes to use too. The staff are so lovely and helpful too. Could not find a bad thing to say about this place!

The accommodation offered fantastic trips and their scuba diving centre provided an excellent diving experience. Blue World Dharavandhoo is a wonderful place to stay: The room with bathroom was huge (3 pax), the marine decoration is super cute, both in the rooms and common areas which are also super nice and allow interaction with other guests. We took half board: breakfast and dinner were yummy and varied every day! Bonus points for the free bikes to move around the island! But what makes this place an exceptional accommodation is the staff: We really appreciate how helpful was Kat (reception) even before our arrival and of course during the days there. The room boys and kitchen team were also wonderful, attentive and caring. Diving team were all great: Fasial, Bags, Api and the crew members did from our dives and snorkels an even more memorable trip! Thank you guys!

So close to the airport and a beach. Enclosed and nice communal area with drinks. Staff organised Hanifaru Bay trip and had magical experience with mantas and whale shark. Kat is so helpful and Faisal a great dive guide.

Is a lovely guesthouse in a small island. Abbi is very helpful to organize the transportations and activities, and they have a super cute parrot, Tito. It’s nice to spending time there even just chill do nothing.

We had the chance to tried couple of accommodations on the island, and blue world has the best vibes! The staff gave great service, special thank to Karthik the Manager, he was super informative and accommodating! Overall was excellent.

The restaurant operates on a made to order menu and you have to provide forward notice of 3-4 hrs for a service to be arranged. However this was hardly an issue due to other restaurants available 3-4 blocks away from this property.

We were pleasantly surprised with the rooms. They were quite spacious , modern and comfortable. The staff at Blue World are very friendly and helpful. Our main contact was Karthik who was excellent in organising activities , flight and speedboat tickets and also talking us about the island. Madhin and Appi were great at taking us Fishing , snorkelling and Diving. Sherpa and the other staff during the breakfast and food service were also always smiling and helpful. Overall we totally enjoyed our stay as 3 families including senior citizens and young children.

Very close to airport like 3 mins walking distance. Room is very big and clean. Hotel staff are all very nice and friendly. Gardic (not very sure about the spelling) is very like a private butler. He helps everything while staying there. Even help arranging a tour with other dive shops. It was a very good experience. Would be back here if there's a chance.

I ask Manager help to arrange and perpare the birthday cake for us. He is so great to order a newly tailor made and tasty cake and only usd 10. Really big thanks for the manager. The rooms are big and comfortable and the garden are relax. There are free coffee and tea is good.

Amazing guesthouse and dive center in Dharavandhoo. The whole staff is very friendly and sweet. Karthik is very efficient at booking everything for you, even last minute (transportation by airplane or speedboat, dives, and snorkelling excursions to Hanifaru bay to swim with mantas and whale sharks from June to November). The rooms are very big and super comfortable and clean, with very good AC and good wifi. Highly recommended! There can provide meals or you can walk to nearby restaurants on the island. They also provide free bicycles. You can pay by credit card or cash. There is an ATM 20 m from the Blue World. Having the dive center on site is a real advantage over other places: the dive guides are in constant communication with the rangers at Hanifaru and they can take you to Hanifaru anytime mantas are seen in big numbers with their dhoni so you will get the best Hanifaru experience while staying at Blue World. The "bikini" beach is a 5 min walk or bicycle ride. Many dive sites (mainly thilas) can be visited around Dharavandhoo. Blue world dive center "mantastic divers" is very good with two very friendly dive guides/instructors Appi and Faisal that know the area perfectly and will give you the best underwater experience possible (very good coral life, grey reef sharks, eagle rays, manta rays, mobulas, dolphins, turtles, moray eels, tunas, big schools of fish, etc. and very few divers around!). It is one the places where you feel that "you come as guests, and leave as friends".

Wished we could have stayed longer

Staff were completely supportive of our requests and went beyond their roles to ensure we had a holiday that far exceeded our expectations. They were friendly, respectful and followed up on anything we suggested we might need or want. Karthik anticipated our needs as well and personally followed up on communications when we didn't respond. We feel we have been very fortunate to have stayed at BlueWorld. As well, the breakfast and dinners were outstanding. The meals were always wonderful, reflecting local cuisine which we had requested. The rooms and grounds were maintained to a very high standard standard and the garden ambience made it all such a friendly beautiful atmosphere. The Dive Centre was the bonus of our stay, with trips organised that met our dive abilities. We will be recommending BlueWorld to all our friends and family.

When you get in the airport, there is someone waiting for you, they help you with your luggage, you check in and receive a fresh coconut. The staffs are really kind and help you with everything you need. The bed is huge and very comfortable, same for the shower area. Very modern and beautiful decoration. I really want to go back.

We had an amazing stay at Blue World. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and well located. We loved having the bikes available to quickly get around! What really made the stay was the staff - they were just amazing! We did three excursions in two days - to Hanifaru to see the mantas, then another trip snorkelling on two reefs, and finally a sunset dolphin cruise. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly, they took us all over and spent so much time teaching us and showing us their wonderful island. We would come back in a heartbeat! Good prices for the excursions. Really good. After going to a few islands we wished we did more there. The main guy Karthik was a legend organising our flights from male at a good rate co pared to Internet prices and answered about a million questions from us without getting tired.

Karthhikeyan the host, has been so kind and helpfull with everything from planning our transportation and everything else we needed. He was always available and ready to help. wouldn’t know what to do without him. The room was amazing. Every room has a sea life theme. Big rooms, with comfortable beds and a nice garden view. We felt very much at home. Top service minded staff and the food has been great. Water, Coffee and tea are free and available all the time. The place is right next to the island airport, but you’re not bothered at all. Blue world also has their own dive shop and restaurant. We used both, which also was great. No downsides - this place has my highest recommendation 🙏🏻

Everything about this property was a 10/10. The rooms are spacious and newly renovated, the common areas are clean and comfortable, and the restaurant is excellent (breakfast is included, they also serve lunch and dinner for around $12). What really sets this guest house apart is the staff, who are incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. Huge thank you to Karthik for taking care of all domestic transportation arrangements! There are bikes for guests to use around the island, and the guest house offers various excursions such as diving and snorkeling. The dive center connected to the hotel is exceptional, with high quality equipment. Massive shout of to Appi for being the best dive instructor and leading some amazing dives! One thing to note is that the property is close to the airport, so you can occasionally hear background noise when in the common areas. However, it’s very minimal and the rooms stay quiet, so the value for money and quality of service makes it more than worth it. Highly recommend making Blue World a stop (or your final destination!) in the Maldives.

I totally recommend this place for both accommodation and diving/snorkelling. Faisal is very attentive, kind and helpful and he will really do his best to meet your needs: from being available online and by phone at all times to book flights and other arrangements. The place is cosy, with good and relaxed atmosphere, modern and beautiful furniture and professional diving staff. The rooms are big, with luxurious lighting and bathroom and are kept very clean. I will definitely come back.
