Location great and cost for what you pay for is brilliant. The reef is amazing with lots of sharks going about outside the breakwaters. Cleanliness of the hotel was spotless and staff were friendly on the hotel side of the resort

The resort has a few attractions. However when it came to booking them, there was a bit of confusion between 2 of the trips we booked. The dive centre staff aren't the most helpful and we're quite rude when we asked about diving, a lot of contradicting information given and when I tried to book a dive and a time to go fill in paperwork needed, was basically told times on the door and the guy walked away to do something else quite abruptly. When it came to checking out, even as we arrived as a group of 5 split over 3 Watervillas, we had somehow been added an extra unknown person to 1 of our villas on checking out which not only delayed our departure as it confused the stewards, the correct info wasn't passed over to the Seaplane crew by the host who came on the transferring boat with us to meet the seaplane

My partner and I loved that this is a small, casual, relaxed and beautiful island. The beach bungalow was perfect and only metres from the stunning ocean. The all inclusive package was great and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the weather on arrival to The Maldives was terrible and the speedboat trip was incredibly scary and uncomfortable. We chose to take the seaplane back to the main island.

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with a clear orientation about the island and its facilities (restaurants, beach, etc.). The team is truly the highlight of this resort — especially Joie and Gassim. Joie is polite, fun to talk to, and always helpful, while Gassim, being a local, shared so much valuable knowledge about the island and its people. Both are AMAZING AND FULL OF LIFE. The beach is beautiful, very clean, with soft magical sand. Both dining options — the buffet and à la carte restaurant — were excellent, with plenty of variety. The drinks included in the All-Inclusive package cater to all tastes, which was a big plus. Prices overall felt reasonable, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy, from snorkeling and diving to boat trips to local islands and fishing excursions.

The island is mainly focused on diving and snorkeling. If water sports aren’t your interest, you might find the activities a bit limited compared to other resorts. The beach itself is on the smaller side, and some areas are protected with large cement structures, which affect the natural aesthetic of the view. My biggest disappointment was the dive center. LESS POINTS. During my diving experience, I encountered one staff member who was unfortunately very rude and displayed an arrogant attitude. He was dismissive, spoke sharply, and made the whole interaction feel stressful rather than enjoyable. It felt more like dealing with a strict “diving sergeant” than a welcoming instructor, which was disappointing considering the otherwise relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the resort.

Everything, the island is a true paradise. Nature all around makes it an exceptional break from reality.

Staff is conscientious. All extras like drinks included in the full board. Absolutely necessary A/C available at all times. Welcoming massage encouraged me to follow up. Artfully served meals at “Seanic” restaurant.

The pictures as stunning as they are do not compare to the amazing feast your eyes will enjoy lapping up. Absolutely stunning and 100% a place we will be returning too. The seclusion to the charming staff makes this the ultimate in relaxation. I’d like to personally mention the staff that were working during our stay as they catered to our every need. Chandana, Osanda, Asela, Jassica, Aalif, Nanifi, Saddam. All of you made our birthday holiday one to truly remember. DJ Stevie will be back, have my rum and ice ready for me please 😉

Absolutely nothing to dislike

This resort was beautiful,clean and surrounded by healthy corals reefs so much of nature and sea life especially Sharks. All the staff are professional and super friendly helpful-all the time! Snorkeling around this resort is the highlight…amazing! Cinnamon’s Ellaidhoo was a fantastic experience. All staff deserves 10 out of 10 however a special thanks to Mr Pradeep from the front office and Mr Rohitha for all the help with regard to the room arrangements.Great!😀👍

Amazing house reef for snorkelling - one of the best I have seen in Maldives. Buffet was very good and the staff were very nice.

Ellaidhoo really has something special. First of all – the surroundings are just stunning. You’re basically living on top of a reef, with crystal-clear water and snorkeling or diving right on your doorstep. Being able to dive independently on the house reef was a big bonus – the freedom, the encounters, and the closeness to nature were truly amazing. The water bungalows were beautiful – falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean and a view of the horizon was pure magic. The vibe on the island is super chill – relaxed, quiet, and peaceful without being boring. Just the way we like it. Service was at times absolutely fantastic – a special shoutout to Vipula in the restaurant who went above and beyond, Sohag who took care of our room with a smile, and the guys at the dive center – helpful, professional, and great at what they do. And the pool? Honestly, one of the best I’ve seen in the Maldives. Big, serene, and with an uninterrupted view of the sea – the perfect place to relax when you’re not underwater. In short: Ellaidhoo might not be the most luxurious resort, but the combination of location, diving, and laid-back atmosphere makes it a truly unique and memorable place. 🌞🌊💙

The food was noticeably less impressive than during previous visits. Many dishes were overcooked, often dry, or overly greasy – lacking the freshness and balance you’d expect at a resort of this level. Service in the restaurant was also a little bit inconsistent. While a few staff members stood out positively, overall attention to guests was lacking – it often felt like no one was really observing or responding to needs at the tables, such as drinks, clearing plates, or basic check-ins.

We had a wonderful time there. Joie at the reception was the absolute sweetest and she made sure that we have everything we needed. She answered every question we had and she was super helpful. The rest of the reception staff was also exceptional. The food was amazing. A special thank you to Dinesh who always made sure that we had the best food on the island. His pasta was always a must on our table. Amazing chef. Every staff we encountered with was amazing. I was not able to keep all of their names but all of them deserve a good rating!

The food was really good at the buffet the staff particularly someone called Ahmed was very helpful and served us well. A bath tub would be nice in the property Overall it is a beautiful stay, reception staff are helpful the entrainment at night is good. Good location for a max 4-5 nights

We said no to attending a bbq as we was all inclusive and after that that waiter who was trying to be really friendly would just avoid us Various times we asked for water from 4-5 different waiters and we was left waiting for ages but then they did eventually accommodate to us. I went off season and therefore can’t complain about the price I paid but if this was on season I wouldn’t have wanted to pay anymore than what I did

Ellaidhoo was a fantastic experience. The snorkeling is amazing, we saw sharks, rays, turtles and many reef fish including large ones. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and tidy - which also was the case for the whole island. The food is lovely and there were new choices in the buffet restaurant every day. We met particularly friendly waiters in the Seanic Restaurant, Shereef and others, they were always ready to make some fun with us. Also the chefs, Dinesh and Vipula, preparing pasta and pancakes of our choice in the buffet restaurant were so very friendly. Thank you! Last, but not least, Khushi og Gasim in the reception made a great effort in helping us arranging transportation to a nearby island, where we were going to stay after our Ellaidhoo vacation. They managed to arrange the most convenient solution for us, which was of great help to us. Thank you very much for it all, we can definitely recommend Ellaidhoo as your location for a family holiday!

Very well managed with good facilities

The resort was beautiful and clean. All staff members were super nice and helpful! Snorkeling around the house reef was amazing!

Everything, location is amazing and staff is even nicer.

Getting dropped off into the floater to the seaplane was not a good experience, I was nauseous and felt really sick.

The beach bungalow was really nice and clean and well maintained every day. Very large and well assorted breakfast buffet with everything you can wish for. 2 chefs are making omelet, pancake etc. lunch and dinner in the a carte restaurant was excellent. After a week we tasted it all and it was really good. The reef was spectacular.

It is a little toi large a place with many people for our liking, but you don’t feel it that much when in and around your bungalow. We would have liked it to have a more private beach area with sand and not concrete.

We absolutely LOVED everything about Ellaidhoo! Our over water villa was perfect - clean, comfortable and spacious, it was pure relaxation. The island as a whole is just fantastic and the house reef was amazing; we saw sharks, sting rays and turtles without leaving the island. The buffet and a la carte restaurant were brilliant and the staff across the island were great, friendly, and had good humour.
