There were some construction sites since they are renovating which made some noise, it was not a big deal but it wasn’t advertised.

Starting from the transfer from and to the airport (smoothly organized and well assisted) to the island, with breathtaking sandy beaches and aesthetic spots. The meals were nice and well cooked (especially the fish) and the room service was professional. The experiences offered by the structure are varied and well organized, our personal highlight was the snorkeling at a nearby healthy coral reef, even though the house reef is colorful and full of fishes, turtles and small sharks as well. Worth noting is the kindness of Eriyadu staff, always smiling, welcoming and ready to help. A special thanks to Sagor, Nuf and Nemesh for the friendly small talks and professionalism.

Everything was fine except the shower in the room was weak and Aircon was not cold. It will take you double if not triple the time to take a bath after spending time at the beach. Maybe because our room was on the 2nd floor that is why the water pressure was weak. They could install a stronger pump to solve this problem.

The food was a little bland at times. This was not a big problem for me as I still liked it but I think it could be improved a bit. The AI was fine, but a little bit more options regarding coffee and drinks would have been nice.

Loved the nature and surroundings. The piece and quiet were absolutely lovely. Some of the staff really went above and beyond with their service. The massage that we had was also very good, professional and really relieved some shoulder tensions. The rooms were simple, but lovely and comfortable. All in all a very nice place to relax and wind down.

I loved my 6-night stay at Eriyadu. Nice small island with a house reef all the way around. The reef is mostly brown, as elsewhere, but hundreds of colourful fish, moray eels, turtles and sharks (harmless). The food is good. Mainuddin took great care of my room and, as a solo traveller, I appreciated our chats. This is my fourth visit to the Maldives and this was one of my favourite islands.

Eriyadu We had a great stay here, but not without its issues. No bedside lighting. The "outdoor" shower was fun but shower head needs a descale. Long desk area but no sockets there . Had to take kettle to other side of room. Cleaning was a bit irregular, never knew when it was happening. And, the cleaners always left the back door unlocked! Some rooms have outside taps, for washing sand, at front entrance . Ours didn't - it was at the back door which the key didn't work on Desserts could use some more variety and imagination. No tea and coffee at lunch and dinner V good doctor - wife reaction to some insect bites There were many days of tree cutting back on our beach and beach reshaping (with a sand dredging pipe) directly outside our room. We complained about the pipe 2 days in a row early on, and then after 4 days of continuous work on "our" beach had to complain about that. WiFi V good in most places, though not in restaurant. But, often saw several people in reception seats on phones as if there gave them better reception than their room? Little to do in the evenings. Karaoke 2 or 3 times, but we hate karaoke. One night has a quiz advertised but when we turned up there was a was a wildlife presentation instead

We had a great stay here, but not without its issues. The setting is lovely - compact, idyllic Room, 331,was a lovely setting opening almost directly onto the lagoon and in turn barely 20 yards out to the reef. Room was large, bit dull/dark. We saw what appears to be a new one elsewhere on the island and it was bright/white with sliding doors. The "outdoor" shower was fun but shower head needs a descale. Plenty of hot water Good a/c and ceiling fan Food on the whole good, but for 3/4 days there were no staples of tomato, lettuce, cucumber, yoghurt, ice cream Roasts - lamb, chicken, duck - 1st 3 days then not again until final night had beef wellington V good doctor - wife reaction to some insect bites Some building work but not near us Nice friendly staff in all areas (except for the tall, shaven headed waiter in restaurant section closest to Reception, who was a right misery guts and seemed to spend his time doing bugger all) WiFi V good in most places, though not in restaurant. But, often saw several people in reception seats on phones as if there gave them better reception than their room?

The snorkling around the island is good, you can see sharks and turtles and a lot of colourful fish and corals. The staff at reception ( always very kind )helped us to upgrade from Seawiew Sky Room (there is no seawiew ) just a lot of trees next to the balcony and the rooms where dark and need some renovation, to a Deluxe Beach Villa. Much Better! The food is okey with a lot of different choices, so there is always something for you. The dive team Eurodivers is great, with a lot of diving and different snorkling excursion.

Food was good, but nothing you would crave for. Very limited drink options in the all inclusive package. Very negative impression from the fact that there was construction of a new pier ongoing, for which we were never informed beforehand. Heavy machinery works during most of the day and usually until 8 or 9 pm. It was not that loud, but definitely spoiling the view . Had we known beforehand, we could have chosen a different island. No compensation whatsoever offered from the hotel for the inconvenience.

Very friendly staff, made us feel welcomed at the hotel. Easy going ambience. Beach villas of comfortable size. I would definitely visit again, provided no construction work as described in the negatives.

The food was average. No fruits you’d dream of having on a tropical island. And my biggest disappointment is that my suitcase was damaged while being transferred to the island. They admitted and said they would provide me with one the same size and even the same brand if possible. But what they gave me was just a cabin size one now even close to the same quality because they said they couldn’t find a bigger one(!). I didn’t want to ruin my holiday any longer or put such a bad end to it so I didn’t make a fuss. It was not only hard for us to fit everything into it but the one they gave me also turned out to be not stable and kept falling. It doesn’t stand right so we had to keep an eye on it throughout the journey, which was pretty annoying. It took them 3 days to decide if they were going to give me one and they kept calling people and it shouldn’t have been one like this after all those phone calls. So a very big disappointment. I guess It’s all about the new management. So despite its wonderful beauty, on second thoughts, I wouldn’t visit the resort again because what people remember is generally how something ends. Now I have to go buy another suitcase for my next holiday to “another island”

The reef was just amazing. Great for snorkelling.

According to price you have to accept that this resort is a little bit out of date. Need a lot of make over and would be good to refresh some beauty feeling at it.

One of the most affordable resorts in Maldives. It is 1 h ride by speedboat from Male and costs 180eur per person. Beach villa house was nice with spacious bathroom. Catering here was great - delicious with good variety. Reef around the island is beautiful - expecially along main beach. We saw 4 turtles, 4 sharks, one ray and many reef fishes in 40 min snorkeling at 8:00 in the morning - the best time!

it was a beautiful ⛱️, great for swimming and snorkelling. The staff were great, specially Mohamed (John) the waiter. Also our room cleaning gentleman. The reception staff are amazing, we had lots of laughs and fun with them. I really enjoyed spending time there. We had a New Year's night and was really well organised. Also they organised an Olympic games and I would put that as a highlight of our stay. I miss all wonderful people we met there. The rooms are a bit old and outdated, but everything else was great 👍

Despite the positive impressions, there were significant drawbacks, especially concerning service. If your tariff does not include "all-inclusive," it may affect how you are treated by the staff. For instance, a couple who traveled with us on the same boat received a warmer welcome with music and flower garlands, while we were simply asked to disembark. The quality of the rooms leaves much to be desired: outdated interiors, holes in the floor that detract from the aesthetics, and frequent water pressure issues in the shower. Returning from the beach to find no water in the shower was particularly inconvenient, forcing us to get dressed and go to the reception to report the problem. There was a persistent smell of sewage in the bathroom. Additionally, the room lacked basic toiletries such as soap, toothbrushes, and combs. The only provided amenities were towels, changed every two days upon request, and an all-in-one shower gel/shampoo. Water supply is limited on the island: guests are provided with only 0.5 liters per person per day. Additional water costs about $4 for 0.5 liters, making it necessary to economize, which is inconvenient in the hot climate. The cleanliness of the grounds could be improved—fallen leaves are rarely cleaned up. Beach towels are also changed only on request, once every two days, which is inconvenient when towels become wet and dirty. The coral reef around the island is mostly dead and colorless. Even in the recommended snorkeling spots, there are only a few live corals.

A stay on Eryadu Island begins with thoughtful service: we were met at the airport with a sign, assisted with luggage, and transferred to the island by speedboat, which took about 45 minutes. This was an excellent start to the vacation. One of the main highlights of the hotel is the coral reef surrounding the island, home to a variety of marine life, including harmless sharks, turtles, and many other fascinating species. The hotel grounds feature beach volleyball and football fields, while the clean, white sandy beach and crystal-clear water create ideal conditions for relaxation. The island offers a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. Various birds live on the territory, adding to the cozy environment with their songs. The island is small and can be walked around in just three minutes, which adds to its charm. The food at the hotel is simple but tasty. The grilled tuna stood out as the best dish. The staff, especially those at the diving center, were very accommodating and pleasant to interact with, always ready to help and meet guests' needs.

They should replace plastic bottles of water (in rooms) for reusable ones. In the end of Nov 2024 there were some reconstruction works (new jetty, probably), but it didnt disturb us.

We choose this resort because of nice reef just behind our beach villa. We saw turtles, many sharks and other marine life. This is not fancy resort, so dont expect luxury. Expect calm, clean and green place with good food (not so many options like in other resort, but far enough for everyone). Even resort was fully booked, it wasnt overcrowded. Dive center is also good here.

Facilities are depressing. This is not an expensive resort for Maldives standard , so you cannot expect anything out of this world .. but even so there are areas where they should improve a bit . The worst is for sure the accomodation : the beach villas are actually semi detached villas , and the partition between the two is not soundproof at all , quite noisy if you are unlucky to have families with children on the other side . Decoration of the rooms is very very basic , to say it in a polite way. Restaurant is more less ok , staff is nice . There are building works under way on the island ; you can live with that , it is not so noisy ( at least when we were there ) , but the resort should inform at the moment of booking about it.

Nature did a very good job here . House reef extremely good . After visiting almost 20 islands in five different atolls in maldives, and considering the problems of coral bleaching everywhere, I think that this island is still a gem . You’ll find places with nice and healthy coral, huge quantity of fishes of many different species and sizes , turtles .. you can snorkel around all the island . Maldives 30 years back .. beatiful! The island itself is also very nice , very green with two nice big beaches , with the plus that there are no ugly sandbags to protect them ( unfortunately quite common to spot that in most of the other islands ) .

    - Beach villas do not have seaview (just a cuplé of them), they are all Behind Palm trees and bushes - tours and extra activities expensive. Could be a little bit cheaper, considering there are no other hotels offeering tours and nothing much to do on the island - bar cocktails not good, bartenders should improve their skills - no plan B or and activities offer if raining during the day - bathroom was half outdoors

The facility is very poor, old rooms, beds and furniture. The open bathroom is cool, but the brush and squidgy should be in each room. All the time the bathroom was wet, there was no option to clean the water. Gym equipment is unsafe, treadmill stops while running, the safety strip is not in place and incline is not working. There is no sun umbrella available and you have to drag your bed from your bungalow to the beach. Also very poor equipment for both pool and table tennis.Food was ok.

Stunningly beautiful country, Amazing island, but watch out for the hidden costs.

    • Stayed 4 nights

I didn't like the 'hidden' but forced costs. Surely the transfer to the island should be included in the room rates and not separately as there is no other way to get there? In addition, the cost of the transfer needed to be paid in 3 days of the booking and is non-refundable, yet the booking at the island could be cancelled up to a week before the stay? I do not understand how a self contained island should have as 'extras': rental fees for snorkels, masks and fins or hourly fees for stand up paddling boards. These do not have costs for operating and the labour costs should already be worked in because of other possible rentals that do have operating costs. I would also have appreciated knowing that full board does not include soft drinks all day. So I would suggest that the meal options are explained clearly on check-in with possible routes to upgrade if desired.

The location cannot be beat, a tiny island, only 3 hectares total, surrounded by a beautiful reef. The food is plentiful and tasty and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are air conditioned and the fan keeps out any potential flying insects. The bathroom is modern although the water pressure is low (understandable being on a self contained island). Beautiful birdlife and in particular marine life abounds, and we were lucky enough to find the resident turtle while snorkelling on the local reef. Lots of optional activities to choose from. We went on the snorkelling safari and that was amazing, and highly recommended for inexperienced snorkellers to learn how and where to snorkel on a reef.
