The best accommodation we have ever stayed in and we travel quite a lot. At the entrance there is a beautiful garden with a nice restaurant/ breakfast room. This is a paradise with friendly, warm people who take care of it. Beautiful rooms with wonderful details for a pleasant atmosphere, spotlessly clean. Breakfast is wonderful. We cannot praise enough. On top of all bicycles are available, which totally enriches the visit to the island. Big thank you to wonderful Nani and a friendly caretaker, also to attentive landlady. Keep up the good work!🤗

The accommodation was much better than we expected! Phenomenal breakfast! very kind staff! Free use of bicycles, beach towels and snooker equipment! You just have to enjoy your stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in Thoddoo, owned by the most polite and warm Bulgarian hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home, always attentive and welcoming. The hotel itself is spotless, and our room, decorated in a beautiful boho style, was both cozy and stylish. The garden is magnificent too. We enjoyed also the bikes which are offered for free. What truly made our stay special was the thoughtful surprise on our last day—our hosts organized a delicious Maldivian breakfast, even though it wasn’t part of the planned schedule for that day. This kind gesture perfectly reflects the hospitality and care they put into every detail. If you're looking for a peaceful, clean, and beautifully designed place to stay in Thoddoo, with hosts who genuinely care about their guests, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing, far the best on the island! Clean, spacious, bright, and full with plants. Staff is extremely kind. They are one of the few accomodations on the island who provide bicycles for free and they even have child seats. Both beaches are very close by bike. Both beaches are amazing, you can meet turtles, sting rays, and all kind of fishes without swimming or going deep into. Communication before the stay was excellent, I got answer to all of my questions immediately, and they speak English fluently. One of the best accomodations we ever stay in the Maldives, and would go back anytime. Oh and they have tiny parrots strolling around the place, they are so cute, you can even pet them 😅

The breakfast is various, but it is plate service. I felt bad when I couldn’t eat everything because the portions and the selection is huge. Maybe they could take into consideration to prepare the warm food onsite upon request, such as omelette or pancakes and place the rest on a buffet. That would spare time for the staff and would decrease the amount of food waisted.

My stay at Fairytale Hotel was a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel at home. Their hospitality added a personal touch, making my visit even more enjoyable. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a restful night’s sleep. The hotel’s cozy ambiance lived up to its name, creating a relaxing and inviting environment. While everything was well-organized, a few small enhancements could further elevate the “fairytale” charm. Adding unique decorative touches or special amenities would make the experience even more memorable. Overall, I highly recommend Fairytale Hotel for its excellent service, cleanliness, and warm hospitality. I look forward to returning!

It was amazing! Really like a fairytale🤗 Very clean, very beautiful. Dilyana and Silviya are the sweetest hosts 😊 They even organized us a romantic dinner on Valentine's day 🫶 The garden is very beautiful and there are several parrots walking around 😊. Breakfast is different every day and very delicious. They offer bicycles for riding around the island. It was a pleasant stay and we totally enjoyed it. 🤗 Definitely recommend it! If you stay in Thoddoo this is the stay to be! 🤗

Excellent service. The hosts were very caring, kind and made us feel like home. The breakfast was lovely. The room was spacious and clean and we had a great stay overall.

The location was very beautiful, and the room was clean. The staff was friendly and helped with anything you needed. The most impressive part of the location is the garden—it’s filled with green plants and palm trees. (Probably why there are sometimes mosquitoes—for those who are more sensitive to them.) Beach essentials are provided: snorkeling masks, float rings, floating sticks, and beach towels. They also have bicycles you can use to get around the island.

We loved our stay at Fairytale in - it is inthe perfect, secluded spot for a peaceful stay on Thoddoo. Dilyana and her team were very friendly and helpful, and kept the place spotlessly clean. The location is a few minutes walk from the gorgeous Sunrise Beach and the town centre with plenty of eating options within a couple of minutes walk, but we really loved taking advantage of the bikes to explore the whole island. Would wholeheartedly recommend!

Thoddoo is an emergent tourist destination with lots of construction.

A hidden gem – 10/10! This small, homey hotel on Thoddoo Island offered one of the most relaxing and peaceful stays I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is so cozy, surrounded by lush palms and nature, just a short walk from the pristine beach. The rooms are simple but impeccably clean, and the staff made me feel right at home – warm, friendly, and always ready to help. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway, close to nature, without the busy resort vibe. You truly feel like you’re part of the island while staying here. I can’t wait to come back and experience this little paradise again!

The terrace in front is a perfect spot to relax, and the breakfast was fresh and tasty every morning. The staff were kind and always helpful, making the experience even better. Bikes are available for exploring the island. Overall, a fantastic place to stay on Thoddoo.

Bikes are available for free, which is a nice touch, though they could use a bit of maintenance or renew some of them.

Green, cozy. Lovely staff, especially Nani, and great food! Wonderful breakfasts. We could borrow snorkeling equipment. Great restaurant Foodland nearby.

Construction site nearby. But it is almost inevitable in Thoddoo generally these days. Many new guesthouses are being built.

It’s surrounded by construction sites like literally every hotel on the island. Sometimes you can hear noise. Didn’t bother us tbh

We spend good times in fairytale inn. The room was nice and clean. Decent amount of space. The bathroom is very spacious. The room has everything necessary, even an ac unit is placed in a proper way. The personnel is attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, so i would recommend to order dinner. We visited a few restaurants on the island and food in the hotel was better. The east side bikini beach is just in a 5 min walk or 1-2 mins by bicycle which are provided for free. The more popular and larger west side beach is in 15 mins walk or 5-6 mins by bicycle ride. The west side beach is perfect to meet the sunset. Also there is a very cute and friendly kitten living in the hotel.
