Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI wasn't mad about the shower room, it was outside, and while it's nice to shower and look up at the trees, it was very humid, so you couldn't really dry yourself properly. I suppose I should have gone into the air conditioned bedroom. The seaplane to get there was very expensive, almost as much as I paid to get there from Athens.
The staff were all lovely. There was a very good choice of food, both local and international. I was there for two weeks, and it didn't look as if they served the same thing twice. The room was very comfortable and cleaned daily. I think going all inclusive was the best idea, though during happy hour the cocktails were very reasonably priced. The house wine wasn't fantastic, but they had other bottles on sale that weren't too expensive.

QatarWe stayed in a lodge on the beach, so wonderful to wake up with the view of the sea. We could snorkel directly from our lodge, the marine life is amazing. The best snorkelling ever. So relaxing, good food and friendly staff.

United KingdomThe pool table was charged at $2.99 per game (I dont play pool, it was an observation) and bottled water was only one per room. Extra water charged at $5.00, Water was also charged at the dining table. I think water should be included and this resort is charging a premium rate to stay. Same for the pool table, only a small charge, but really should be included in the price of around $500.00 per day
All meals were really good. Food prepared fresh every day and always hot, Beach was amazing and the rooms very comfortable

United KingdomEverything was as I hoped it would be. Alas I am a magnet to mosquitoes but there's nothing that could be done about that apart from be totally sprayed day and night. The still managed to find parts I hadn't covered! I did struggle with the humidity so thankfully the air conditioning in the villa was superb.
First of all the organising to get to and from the island by seaplane is excellent. The staff are all friendly and cheerful. The deluxe villa I stayed in (18) was wonderful. The bed was so comfortable, with a mosquito net. I loved the outside shower and the water pressure was excellent. The air conditioning was necessary and did a marvellous job as it was so humid. The villas were placed just enough apart with two sunbeds close to the water to make you feel like you're in your own little paradise. Each villa is allocated its own table in the dining hall with the same waiter to serve drinks and clear the table. It was then a buffet service where you walked around choosing your own dishes from the vast wonderful selection. There was always something I could feast on and the service was very good. I'm not a strong swimmer so didn't really snorkel much but did see some lovely fish. The upkeep of the island to keep it looking so lovely is impressive. Each morning someone would be out sweeping the sand and gathering up fallen branches and leaves. They did a lovely job. I was looking for a quiet few days and that's what I got.

ItalyThe water villas should be refreshed - they are a gem but furniture is not well preserved and now quite old. Currently the villas have 3 kinds of roof, with different colors and some feature colored fabrics covering some pieces: it's a real pity as they do not look premium and ruin the overall scenery. I hope they are just temporary. Additionally, extra costs are quite a burden, as rates are high and you even need to pay for plain water even if on a full board service.
The reef surrounding the island is simply amazing, particularly the exit next to the water villas (nr. 4) and the ones facing north-west (nr. 5 & 6). Just snorkeling we had the chance to see an incredible variety of fishes and corals, we also swam alongside a turtle and sharks a couple of times! Staff is great, always gentle, kind and willing to help and assist. The food is great both in quality and in variety of offer, we really enjoyed our full board selection. We particularly appreciated the lack of "holiday village entertainment" and the authentic look & feel of the island (preserved but not over constructed).

The snorkeling was the best we've ever done. I don't expect to have another experience like this again. Filitheyo has no motor boats or jet skis which means the fish are not startled and has incredible coral surrounding the island meaning for incredible snorkeling experience. We had a water villa for 10 days and so happy we did. Countless variety of fish constantly swimming about including dolphins. Meals were great from the main restaurant, lots of variety. Main bar was a great place to go prior to dinner. Outside of snorkeling our favourite place was the sunset bar and pool. Big thank you to Viraj, Faruk, Raj, Rubeun for amazing service, kindness and a welcoming friendly attitude to everyone who entered the Sunset Bar. Thank you to Kasheem who took care of our villa and Dain who multitasks front desk and our snorkeling guide. All staff were always willing to help. Recommend the BBQ. Even though we were all inclusive the BBQ was well worth the extra cost.

Filitheyo is a piece of paradise. If you like snorkelling, this is one of the best ones I've seen in my life. You will be isolated in the middle of the ocean, with the peace and quiet that comes with it. The staff goes out of their way to help you. Loved it!

MaldivesThe waiter at the sunset bar and grill religious profiling of us ruined 3 days of our trip! His BLOWING HIS NOSE! INTO EACH OF HIS HANDS WITHOUT A TISSUE THEN TOUCHING US AND OUR FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY IT!
We were made to feel Target by one of the waiters. My fiancee name is oussama and he automatically called him oussama bin laden and asked about our religion during our $280 a dinner on the beach and made us very uncomfortable. The next visit to the area for dinner at the same area of the resort with this same waiter he blew his nose into both hands several times blatantly in front of us and pet my fiance on the back after doing it and brought our food The internet was supposed to be included it was not and we paid as we went . There were missed breakfast meals due to food poisoning which I visited the resort clinic for ..the clinic was great. They gave me an IV drip for over an hour and medicine to take all week. The room had a TV but we couldn't get that or the tea/coffee kettle to work and we did complain several times . The waiter in the main dining area was wondering. The boy that cleaned our room was wonderful.. The beach was beautiful But honestly the over $1000 for 5 days of food when I could barely touch a bite is outrageous and I had No choice but to go to the buffet area because the alacart area had the obnoxious waiter. I would like some of my money returned honestly because of that waiter We had sparkling wine with our romantic on the beach dinner but we do not drink alcohol..we are Muslim and his Ben laden cracks to my fiance on the first trip of his Entire Life is Outrageous!! And we did not state too much at the end we were waiting till we got off the island because we had already had enough problems and we didn't want to have any more before we left.
