Very pleasant experience.

Very friendly staff, greeted us at the port and dropped us off on the day we departed. Staff provided breakfast in the morning which was nice. They also give us local recommendations for the island. Rooms were basic but clean and tidy.

They welcome us and treat us very well! Also every day they change the breakfast so we could eat different things. The tour guide took amazing videos of us.

We stayed in room 5, and the fan has no speeds, it’s just running on the fastest and it was too much for us. All the rooms have AC, it’s just that we rather used a fan as we do not like AC’s. Apart from that everything was great.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was good. Location was good too, but the island it’s so small that wherever you are staying the beach its just 2 steps away. The also have coffee and water accesible all day. They pick you up from port and drop you off when you depart. The staff was very friendly and always eager to help, and chat with you, we really felt at home here. The room has a small fridge so you can cool your water. And there are furniture and benches for you to place all your staff nicely. Internet was algo good. The island has a couple of places where you can have lunch and dinner, and the price is good value. For the value we paid this place was gold.

Some downsides: they seem short on staff, so you’ll need to request things like blankets or room cleaning (which isn’t done daily unless asked). The dining/common area has a microwave, but staff needs to assist if you want to use it—it’d be more convenient if guests could access it freely.

The hotel was clean with a huge room, super comfortable bed and pillows, and excellent air conditioning. Staff, especially Shofike, was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and there were cute cats hanging around outside which added to the charm. They also offer well-priced activities like feeding stingrays (9am–11am), excursion trips, and boat transfers. There’s a nice chilling area with chairs and shade to relax. Wifi connection is okay.

We felt so welcomed and well taken care of. We’ve been in Hathaa with our 4 year old daughter for 8 nights. This is the best place for a family. It’s very close to the beach where we snorkeled among the colorful fish and our daughter could play with the local kids. On the other side (also very close by) is the beach where every day we’ve seen sting rays and sharks. We highly recommend taking a trip to swim with sharks, dolphins and turtles that is offered here. Thank you for everything! These were the best holidays we’ve ever had!

You dont get to see the sea from your hotel, but it is just a few steps away. But from the first minute i stepped on the island there was a hotel staff member who picked me up, took my backpack and led me to the hotel. After a welcome drink I was provided with the room keys and short explanation how everything works. Buffet breakfast is nice even with fruit and cakes and they alter it every day. Hotel also provides nice snorchelling excursions.

The stuff was friendly and welcoming, and food was delicious. They also offer dinner options, along with exciting excursions that include snorkeling and rental for masks and fins. Higly recommended, we can't wait to return!

The staff treated us with respect and went above and beyond to make sure we had a trip to remember! From the initial comms to the way we were greeted upon arrival and departure and everything in between! The meals were delicious and made to the standards you would make for a family member, and they were lovely enough to cater to our dietary requirements (including a plant-based diet). They brought us out on incredible tours to visit marine life taking into account everyone's varied preferences. We felt safe during the tours and our captain for those boat tours went above and beyond to keep us safe out there. He knew where everyone was at any given time and even redirected other boats away from us. They made us feel so special and were warm and kind.

The breakfast could have been better.

The staff was amazing. The owners of the guest house were so friendly and accommodating. They helped us with everything and even made a local dish for us for lunch one day and didn't even charge us anything for it. The rooms were so clean and the bathroom was spacious. The whole aura of the guest house was beautiful and safe. It was near the beach also, hardly 2 mins walk. I would definitely recommend other people to stay here as it gave us great value for money.

Everything is perfect here, quiet, peaceful and comfortable, the Manager Hassan Areeb here arranged wonderful trips for us, and the breakfast, lunch and dinner here are the best, better than other restaurants. What's more, I got sick during the stay, and all the stuff here were very helpful and arranged medical consult and treatment for me immediately, they were with me all the time during consult and made me feel at home. I really appreciate everything they offered, and it is my best memory of vacation ever. Highly recommended and I hope everyone can enjoy vacation here with Hathaa Retreat!

The room was very spacious and clean. New property. The manager Arib was very friendly and helpful. He looked after us like for babys, Thank you very much,Arib! Hussein prepared amazing dinner after night fishing. And of course we are missing best friend- a parrot Rocky! See you next time😀👍!

Room 1 could be noisy sometimes from the music and noises from the canteen.
