I was treated with the utmost personal care by Subha and Kritika at Reception. They took care of my every need. I was well fed by Chefs Amdadul, Rana and Dipak. The diving and snorkeling crew were so patience and attentive when we went on Nurse Shark Excursions. I upgraded to a pool for my birthday and gosh it was incredible. I love the outdoor shower. I received the most beautiful birthday cake on my birthday. I highly recommend Malahini Kuda Bandos Resort.

Beds were comfy, room cool and clean, plenty of activities during the day, but make sure you take wet shoes as the shallows are full of broken coral which is very sharp on bare feet

The only thing I didn’t like, and I can’t really complain about it, since it might be beyond the resort’s control given that it’s on an island, was the number of ants in the bathroom during the evenings and at night, due to its open design. It took the kids a couple of days to adjust to that. Other than that, I honestly can’t think of anything else.

We loved the Sunrise Beach Villa, which had its own pool and offered easy access to the beach. As parents of two small kids, we especially appreciated how much they enjoyed being so close to the pool. Initially, we were a bit worried about choosing the all-inclusive package, thinking the kids might get bored eating the same type of food. However, the selection and variety were fantastic. The staff were amazing, from those at the reception, to the restaurant teams, the team at the water sports club, to the lovely lady at the kids' club. Overall, we had an incredible vacation at Malhini.

Don’t have any ocean villa

A small island so easy to explore. 15 minutes from airport so easy to travel with family esp children. Food is amazing esp the sea food, drinks are great, staff is super friendly & responsive. I think it’s the perfect resort for a week vacation. The villas not only come with a private pool but also a jacuzzi. The villas have all the amenities & luxury & the place is super clean. The drain in our bathroom had a foul smell which was attended to immediately upon reporting. This smell kept recurring and l would urge management to look into fixing this minor issue permanently.

The staff at Malahini make the place truly magical. Special thanks to the breakfast chefs they are professional and made us feel like the restaurant was a family dining room with their warmth and delicious food. On the day we departed, it was before breakfast service but the chef brought us packed breakfast! Rosi, Shashi and Sheesh made our 6 year old boy feel very special, they attended to his every need, thank you for taking care of us every day without fail. The dinner was buffet style and everyday of the 7 days we were there had a different theme, executed to perfection each time. Malahini your chefs are top notch! Many activities to enjoy. Snorkelling with sting rays was a highlight for us. The staff got in the water with the group making sure everyone was safe and comfortable. They also do day trips to other islands. Well equiped gym which we used every evening and was always clean.

The garden room is a great stay if you want to experience this beautiful island for a more budget price. The room is clean and looking good, with cleaning 3 times per day. You can experience all facilities with their beautiful beach. The team of Malahini is great and making your stay to perfect everywhere they can, with no request too much.

Malahini is a place in paradise, located within 15 minutes from male. The island is cozy and small, with their team doing everything about it to make your stay as perfect as possible. The food is great, all inclusive or full board is advised. You see that they take care of the island, room cleaning 3 times per day, every morning they’re cleaning the island it selves. Wonderful beach with a lot of sea life. The villa is big enough for a family with private pool and sea view. Just take sea shoes and mosquito repellent

The sea is quite rocky and full of stones near the shore. Visibility is low for the first few meters, so it’s easy to step on rocks or hit your foot on a stone. • However, this seems to be the case in many parts of the Maldives. • After swimming about 5–6 meters out, the water opens up and becomes very suitable for snorkeling. • One downside is the number of boats and jet skis operating close to the swimming area — it can be a bit disruptive and reduce comfort.

The hotel is very close to the airport — only about 12 minutes by high-speed boat, which is a big plus. • We chose the sunset view rooms, and they were truly beautiful. I’ve shared some photos — they speak for themselves. • I really liked the interior design of the restaurant. • Breakfast was tasty, and the dinners were absolutely amazing, offering a variety of dishes from different world cuisines. • The staff are extremely attentive and clean the room twice a day. • If you ever face any issue, simply call the reception and they will do everything they can to solve it within minutes. • They also try to accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests if availability allows — they helped us in that regard.

The best rooms are quite expensive. We got a last minute upgrade and it was very expensive.

From the stunning serene views, to the super friendly and caring staff who go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need and are comfortable. The food! Fresh, quality produce with exquisite flavours and good variety for all palettes. This was a true getaway from the trials and tribulations of life where one can truly find peace and enjoy a calm tranquil holiday. Like all places service is what takes a nice hotel/resort to the next level and in this case Kudos to the Malahini team as every member of staff we interacted with was filled with smiles, a duty of care truly made us feel special. A few special mentions have to go to Yadanar, Shees, Samin, Nouhayla, Dina and Kritika.

Lack of facilities like a general swimming pool and jacuzzi for all.

The staff was super friendly......all of the waiters and housekeeping and receptionists. Special shout out to Chef Ansari who went to extreme lengths to ensure we had wonderful meals. Samin at the reception also always had a joyful Nature and kept everyone positive. All the staff were very very nice which really was the highlight of our stay. Rooms were nice and housekeeping staff was kind.
