Not crazy about some of the breakfasts. The Maldivian one with tuna, egg was great. Didn't like cold waffles smothered with chocolate, or tinned beans. Had to keep asking for our egg to be fried on the other side as it would arrive with the whites half raw on top. The fruit with breakfast was great.

I liked everything about this stay. The rooms were large and comfortable, lots of room for luggage, lots of hot water and beds were comfortable. Staff were all pleasant. Drinking water available all day. Lots of restaurants close. It is a bit of a walk to the bikini beach (20 min) but really what else do you have to do? Instead of going right on the beach (where everyone rushes to get chairs/pick nick tables) we went left and found a shady spot all to ourselves in the sand. I found snorkeling superior here and even swam about 10 minutes along with a turtle. Coral is sadly mostly dead due to El Nino a few years back but lots of varied fish to see. I would recommend staying here!

They charge 5$ pp for renting a bike, which is something the other guest houses offer for free.

This was one of the best stays we ever had. It was an amazing guesthouse. The room was new. The bathroom was open-air, which helps in this climate. Beds were comfy, and the room was cleaned almost every day. Staff was great, very helpful, and always there to answer any questions. Breakfast was maldivian and continental, and we really enjoyed the watermelon 🍉 served every day. You get picked up by a buggy car at the port. The property is located 15 mins by foot to the sunset beach, which is the best and 5 minutes away from Sunrise Beach. You can book with them your speedboat transfer (35$ pp each way) and pay directly at them. This island is so worth it. It offers one of the best beaches, it has jungle and crop fields full of fruits. Overall, i enjoyed my stay in this guest house, and i totally recommend if you visit Thoddoo to choose to stay here.

The only thing i missed was some hanging rack options. We had a lot of things to hang and it comes handy if you wash some clothes as you go.

Everything was above expected. As a vegan i struggle with options with food, the owner kindly provided a milk for coffee for me and of course also a breakfast options. I particularly enjoyed beans with flatbread. They served fresh fruit beside breakfast. The room was always super tidy and cleaned everyday.

We spent 10 days far away from home and the feeling is HOME. Hospitality, kindness and availability for every request making our stay 10 stars. Breakfasts and dinners made by Zihaan and his family are like a dreams in particular for special meal for my daughter, without any concern, gave us enjoy the vacation in absolute relax. After 5 days an issue with AC solved in half hour giving us a new room. Room cleaning is perfect and Faisal always gentle and available. Towels changed frequently and without any request from our side. What's more.. Manta Stay is more than a guesthouse, seems like a resort with the real Maldivian atmosphere. We will come back here for sure.

Meal was good but no choices and could have been warmed up a little bit more.

Good location, cute little room, nice dining area. Outside shower and toilet are good too😊Maldivian breakfast with tuna was amazing and became our favourite 😁 Staff was helpful - special thanks to Zihaan - and we could ask breakfast packed in boxes so allowed us to have a picnic on the beach. Sunset beach and crystal clear water is absolutely amazing… we could swim with turtles which is an unforgettable memory 🐢🐢

Myself and my partner stayed in this guest house for 10 days. The location is perfect as it is very close to budget friendly restaurants and local shops. In my opinion it was in a nicer and quieter part of the island as there is a lot of construction going on in other parts. The owner Zihaan was very welcoming from day one. He came to greet us from the boat and was happy to explain everything we needed to know. He organises trips for a good price if there is a bigger group going so it is very worth to let him know you are interested. The rooms are very clean and have life saving air conditioning and a fan. The eating area in the garden is very nice and cozy. We had breakfast that changed between some general options and some very nice local foods. They also provided different fresh fruit which was a big highlight for my mornings! We had dinner one of our nights in the guest house. They made fresh bbq fish for us and I will say it truly was the most tasty and fresh fish we have ever had. If it was not on our last night I would have had it every day! I would gladly come back and stay here again as you really could not ask for more. Thank you again to Zihaan as well as all the other staff that were there.

It's close to the Mosk so expect to wake up very early. There was to little food variety, especially on breakfast. You have to pay for bikes, witch are in an awfull state, while many Guesthauses are offering them free of charge. Bathroom needs a thoroughly clean. The price ist higher as other same level properties.

They run four guestrooms on the property, so its a nice familial atmosphere. The garden is nice. They take in consideration your needs and act accordingly. They have decent prices for the boat trips.

My wife and I spent 2 weeks at Manta Stay and we are absolutely delighted with the entire experience. The room was always clean and well equipped (air conditioning, ceiling fan, fridge, very comfortable bed, child's bed, TV set). The rooms are next to each other but there's a very good acustic separation. The bathroom was also clean and fully functional. Excellent breakfasts, especially the local ones served every other day. The owner is exceptionally nice - always making sure that everything is fine and taking care of everything we needed (e.g. money exchange, transfer from & to the airport etc.). The personel was also very kind and helpful, even occasionally helping with entertaining our little child. The island itself is also a good choice, as it has an authentic local atmosphere, while offering a good choice regarding beaches, restaurants, shops and health care - everything is well balanced there, which is very important if you go with a small child.

In comparison to the other resort, we have visited on Rasdhoo Island, the price was little bit high, even if we include expences for food which we have to pay separately there (in the restaurant).

It was a nice stay, food was very good, specially when it was fish menue. The choise of food was OK, albeit little bit monotounous. The hosts were marvelous, the room was cleaned every day. From time to time we have problems with router, but we learned how to repair it if needed.

We liked everything! The room was very clean, the host is super friendly and reliable. He cares about the guests and he won't put you in danger. When the sea was rough he refused to organize boat trips putting our safety before business. We had dinner at the guesthouse every single night and it was very tasty every time, a lot of fish because that's what we asked for and we really appreciated it! I highly recommend having dinner here than at the any other restaurant on the island because the quality here is way better. The swimming with manta + blacktip reef sharks feeding trip he organised was great. First stop was manta point and then we went to the sharks feeding point. Because we passed near the manta point on our way back home, they stopped again at manta point so we were all able to swim with the manta rays again. Thank you for everything! Keep up the good work!

Cleaning was ok. Toilet during rainy day is a nightmare, every time we were wearing jackets to not get wet. Rain is really loud on iron roof especially during night. The patio is too small for both sun and rain. Breakfast is without choice, either würstel, sunny side egg and bread with jam and butter and papaya or waffle with chocolate topping (chocolate cream or the choice is chocolate or jam would be appreciated) egg, bread and watermelon. A small breakfast buffet would be maybe better.

Nice place and really nice staff, It was raining a lot during our stay and they took us to the restaurant with the caddy, we wanted to join dinner in Manta Stay last minute but was no possible. (Bookings until 2pm) Available bikes for rent 5$ each per day. Tea and coffe always available

We don't understand how this place is getting positive reviews, because everything is very bad. The room - Not clean at all! - Ants walking on the bed and on you while you sleep. There was an ants nest and I had to find it moving the furniture and show it to the manager asking to spray it with something. - Dirty linen with spots. I informed the manager, he replied they don't washout. - Towels tear a part - TV is not working - Door is slapping when locked when windy. We had to put some toilet paper to keep it fixed. - Furniture is old and fixed with rusty screws - Sound isolation is terrible. It is not possible to sleep. You hear everything from all over the place. Worst is when it is raining as you hear each drop hitting the metal roof. Bathroom - It smells on canal from the pipes. It's disgusting to wash your teeth. - Shower and taps are rusty, old and dirty - Soap and shower gel are in old broken plastic bottles. Food - Instant cheap coffee. You make it your self with dirty cups. - Same food everyday. - Breakfast is awful. You get toast bread with beans and egg. Sometimes cheap chicken sausages with bones inside. - Dinner is rice or pasta with same salad. Sometimes fried chicken nuggets prepared previous day. - Rarely there's fish which is OK. Staff and Service - Two young boys from Bangladesh who don't speak English - I noticed them cleaning everything with one towel. - I don't want to think of what is in the kitchen as these guys also cook, serve and make up the rooms - When you say Hello or Good Morning you don't get noticed

The beaches on the island are good.
