Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyOur stay at Nemo Inn was pleasant and we really enjoyed our time. The staff is very gentle and they do their best to give you a great service. We booked the beach dinner through them and it was wonderful! We will always remember. We also really appreciated the breakfast and the terrace view is a plus. The rooms and bathrooms are simple but always kept clean.

Polandnice and cozy place with just a few rooms, nice dining area at the roof top. small but clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. we were welcome by them at the harbour and offered a lift to the hotel. The island is very pleasant, small, quiet, with super clean waters and bikini beach, nice board walk where you can see sharks and mantas at night in lit up waters, a few bars.

SingaporeCommunication could be better. It was only after I started sending WhatsApp messages that I got fairly quick responses. The main issue was the cook - his attitude was very poor and while I understand that it is an island and they are dependent on shipping, he was not in the least accommodating and simply rejected everything, even what was advertised, like a Maldivian breakfast. On the last day, we had an early boat to leave and the boss had to come to make breakfast, the cook was nowhere to be seen. Although it was the fasting month, my understanding is that you should try to perform as usual.
Boss/owner was good and attentive. Organised a tour and tried very hard to accommodate our requests.

NetherlandsThe beds seemed to be made from wooden panels, so every time we turned, the bed would make quite some noise.
Great accommodation to spend time on the local island of Omadhoo. Omadhoo isn’t very touristic and they are all working hard to please all guests. The food at the accommodation is good and the cook was prepared to cook many different things. As this isn’t a touristic island (yet… the first ATM on the island is being installed as we are writing this) this means that it may not all meet European standards (e.g. food is not served very hot). This didn’t matter to us, we had a great time here.

United KingdomNemo Inn is a sweet, very authentic feeling and intimate guest house run by a friendly team who were so kind and attentive. They went above and beyond to make my stay a wonderful one. A couple of things that really stood out for me .. * a very touching surprise birthday cake they had made for me (a divine chocolate creation which they'd even gone to the trouble of having my name iced onto) * an incredible Whale Shark snorkelling excursion where we were able to see not only this awe-inspiring creature swimming fairly close beneath us, but also an enormous Manta Ray and a couple of Sea Turtles too - one of the most thrilling experiences of my life! Facilities were clean and well organised; the bed was very comfortable; the food was good. In short, Nemo Inn provided everything I needed for a thoroughly relaxing holiday and an amazing experience of the lovely island of Omadhoo.

SwedenBecause of the low tide it was a bit hard to reach the house reef from the beach. The continental breakfast had no glutenfree alternatives.
Such an amazing place! We are so haopy we chose to visit Omadhoo island. It exceeeed our expectations by far. It is such a unique and genuinenly tradiitional island. It will remain in our memories forever. We watched both nursesharks from the bridge and enjoyed watching the stingays being fed in the evenings. I would recommend it to everyone who is interested in local culture mixed with beautiful scenery and snorkling. Nemo Inn has nice rooms and very comfortable beds. You can have dinner and breakfast at the balcony/roof top both inside or outside. There are two sunbeds on the roof. There were many excursions on offer. The island has a few restaurants and the fish curry at Nemo Inn is very nice too. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I received very quick replies when I had any queries before arriving, which I really appreciated! Visit now before the island changes!

SpainThe bathroom (the shower is not separated so when you take a shower there's water everywhere). The staff was quite absent. They were only in the guest house for breakfast and lunch/dinner mainly. The breakfast time was quite restricted, at 8:30 staff was knocking at your door to call you for breakfast (while the sign up stairs said until 9:30). They come only for the meals so they sometimes seem in a hurry for you to finish your meals.
The room was quite functional with good A/C, adapters, mini-fridge and beach towels. The guest house was well-equipped as well with a first aid kit, unlimited supplies in reception (paper, water, gel) and a faucet in the entry to remove the sand. There was unlimited coffee during breakfast.

PolandOmadhoo bikini beach: all the deck chairs can be occupied by other people. Unfortunately, we had to share the beach with a larger group and people were just throwing their towels on the desk chairs and going out for lunch for 1-2 hours while still occupying these chairs... There are some umbrellas in Nemo Inn but I just could not manage to open it. Beside that, each umbrella was too heavy to carry fo 800 meters. So you must find only natural shadow. Nemo Inn should place one or two umrellas on the beach as beach is the main reason of visiting Nemo Inn. You can find some thrash on the beach, unfortunatelly. I have never seen anyone cleaning it (I know it is not hotel's area but again - beach is the main point of the stay and happy client is the client recommending the island with the hotel). English of the owners is REALLY BAD. We just can't understand one thing: this is the repeating downside of the Nemo Inn. We read reviews from 1 or 2 years ago with the same thing. Why don't they improve it? This was the main reason we decided only to go for sandbanks tour beacuse we were afraid that going for a shark snorkelling tour with them could be a disaster. So we were eager to pay them 400 USD (almost twice as much as for a week's stay) but we were afraid that they won't talk to us understandable during the tour and we will be unhappy. We are not demanding with this but really: we wanted just to find out if the sandbank on the Omadhoo will be over or under the sea (!) during our stay or where and when we can find sharks - each time it ended with a huge failure. This is definitely the worst side of the Nemo Inn.
Apartment was clean. Access to the beach is about 800 meters and it's good. We did one tour with 2 sandbanks for 150 USD (2 people), it lasted 3-4 hours and went well (we had our time to make pictures, fly with a drone and decide when to leave). It was our only stay in the Maldives (apart from the capital) and for the price we paid: it was great. If you have a good weather, you just need a place to sleep and then go to the beach. Omadhoo bikini beach is not big and the first day we were unsure of our choice but we liked it more and more every day (cons are listed in section below). You can find there natural shadow and deck chairs. The beach is not big but during our stay there were max 10-15 people there so it's really OK. Sometimes we had whole beach for ourselves. You can borrow swim finns and snork masks for free. We had our room cleaned every 1-3 days. AC works fine. On the rooftop there is a kettle for making a regular tea or instant Nescafe coffee for free (you can ask for the milk :)). The hotel is rather quiet (but this depends on the guests, of course). The bed is comfortable. WiFi is free but not the best - we advice to have your own backup SIM with data package. Breakfests are provided but there are only two types. Not great, not terrible. Just average food not to be hungry. Also, you can find better and cheaper dinners on the Omadhoo island.

GermanyCommunication was a bit chaotic for arrangement of ferry, also because staff were rarely at the hotel. At the end they found a good solution though - even though it was already late. Internet was shaky and made the communication more complex.

United KingdomThe restaurant and food were disappointing, the room was very basic with no tea/coffee facilities, the WiFi was poor and we were asked to move hotel on our final night as they had overbooked. Finally the speedboat transfer that we had requested a couple of months previous for 13.00 on our final day, and which we had been told was booked, wasn't booked at all and we had to catch the 8.00 instead meaning that when we got to Male we had to wait until 14.00 to check in to our hotel. Really disappointed considering all the reviews we'd read before booking, felt like we'd stayed at a different hotel. Couldn't recommend sorry!

SloveniaThis was one of the best experience I had. The staffs met me at the jetty and were very helpful. They were polite, friendly and the communication was good. The guest house was clean and the location is just 7 minutes walk from the guest beach. The room was nice and clean. Our bed was very comfortable. The restaurant have verity of food choices and everything I tried was delicious. And the view from the restaurant takes the dining experience to another level. Perfect view of sunrise and sunset. Thank you for making our trip memorable and special. And a special thanks to shafaz who works in omadhoo beach club.

United KingdomThey were late to pick us up from the boat so we walked to the guesthouse. The room we had was very small. The bathroom was very smelly like rotten eggs. The bed was 2 single beds pushed together and kept splitting apart. The bed boxes under the mattress made alot of noises when moving around. They also slipped away from the wall if you sat upright. We really didnt like this room. However, the other guests did not have the same problem. The room we had was next to the reception desk. The guesthouse is quite far from Bikini beach. There are better options on the island for the same money or less..
Breakfast was good. The views from the balcony were great. Books to read.

Staff was amazing, they cooked delicious food for us - chicken, fish, sandwiches - everythink we wanted. We were on several trips with guys from the hotel - they showed us turtle point and beautiful coral reef. We enjoyed our meals od the roof with amazing seaview.
