Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Very friendly staffs and owner. We stayed here for 6 days and 5 night for diving trip. The place is nice, clean and spacious. It also has its own restaurant and dive shop, easy to do fun diving, snorkeling, and fishing. The owners are well-experienced and helpful. We had a wonderful time here. Would definitely love to come back!

RussiaWe spent 36 wonderful days in the guest house. Everything was just awesome. We were with my wife, children, grandma and grandpa. The children and my wife and I stayed in a family room (two double rooms connected by an internal door) which we used as a two-room apartment. Grandpa and grandma lived separately. The rooms are very large and bright. The ceiling height is more than 5 meters. Each room has a bathroom with a shower. Each two rooms has its own water heater, so there is enough hot water for everyone to wash after the sea. We really liked the open storage system. The island is dust-free, so things stay clean. The beds are comfortable, linen and towels are changed on request. They clean quickly and cleanly during our breakfast. The air conditioner provided a normal climate in the room. Each room has a large terrace, where it is very nice to read a book in the evening. There is a small, very beautiful garden in front of the terrace. The room has a second exit, which leads to an open clothes dryer under a canopy from the rain. Since the air conditioner fan is directed at the dryer, the clothes dry almost instantly. At the entrance to the guest house there is a place for storing water equipment, which is convenient to use. The owners of the guest house also own a great restaurant, which is literally a 3-minute walk away. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner in this restaurant all the time. You can make a menu in such a way that you won’t get tired of the food in 30 days. Important clarification: order food by time and you can also specify your preferences. Everything will be ready at the specified time and the way you like it. If you just come without warning, be prepared to wait. We highly recommend trying fresh grilled fish and seafood. There is pizza, burgers with chicken and tuna. Also, from the side dishes there are spaghetti, rice, vegetable salad, French fries, boiled potatoes and much more. Also try the Maldivian breakfast - I ate it every morning

United StatesThe rooms are well equipped and suited for a long stay. This would be the perfect place to take a diving course with Mohamed Azeez, he has a classroom, all the skills, and necessary equipment. The area is wonderful for diving and snorkling, the best I came across during my loop around the Ari Atoll.

SlovakiaAzeez, as our host did everything he could to make us happy. We came to this island by ferry, right to Azeez as he was waiting to us at the harbour. We walked together to his restaurant where he gave us the info. After that we headed to our room which was actually like little cottage actually. The room was really nice, we felt like it has enough privacy. We event went for a night fishing trip (50$ for person) with Ismael and it was great! Could only recommend. The best thing is, that even theres only 1 bikini beach at this island (its pretty conservative I think) it is unbelievably beatiful and most of the time you will be completely alone here - not so many tourists on this island.

United KingdomFor some reason the internet didn’t work well at all inside the room but the signal was very strong outside the room even though there was only floor to ceiling glass separating the room from the terrace. This wasn’t very convenient because of the heat during the day and the mosquitoes in the evening. Also, some of the bathroom furniture was quite badly water damaged and some communal areas were full of clutter. Some small changes with the property and some TLC would really elevate the whole experience.
The rooms are very large and the beds are super comfortable. I loved the terrace/deck area outside each room too. The guest house is just a very short walk from the beautiful tourist beach. The staff was very friendly and the food at the restaurant was very tasty.

United KingdomCan't think of anything!
We had a great time on Himandhoo despite the heat! The owner took us out on his boat to swim with manta rays and we had the best time snorkelling around a beautiful coral garden with a multitude of tropical fish. The breakfast was good and the room was the best. AC worked, good shower and no complaints. He told us about local cafes for lunch and dinner which were also very good. Very helpful indeed. Would love to go back and learn to scuba dive!

Lebanonthe surrounding area was a bit busy and rather noisy. however this was due to political elections going on . the island is inhabited only by locals and isn’t very well maintained . according to the host, the island is currently under a plan to boost tourism
the hosts are wonderful and very accommodating and supportive .The dives in himandhoo are one of the most recommended areas. we got to experience the local experience
