Very friendly and helpful staff, we reserved accommodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner, all meals were perfect. Hotel offer meet and assist service at the airport, great for all new visitors of Maldives. The location is really good, only 5 minutes walk to the beautiful tourist beach. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with air conditioning.

We had an amazing experience at Thoddoo Relax Hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, greeting us with a refreshing coconut upon arrival. They facilitated our transportation from Male Airport to Thoddoo via speedboat for $35 per person per leg, departing at 10am and 4pm. Special mention to the hotel manager Shin Moe —they always did their best to make us feel welcome and provide any help we needed. Communication via Booking or WhatsApp wasn't immediate, but they responded to all our questions within a day. The room and common areas were excellently cleaned with daily towel changes. The temperature at night was perfect, thanks to the air conditioner and ceiling fan. The hotel provided two bottles (2L) of filtered water per day, along with shower and beach towels, shower gel, handwash, and a hairdryer. They offered various trips and beach dinner packages with discounts for hotel guests. Ade and Tomas, two extraordinary snorkelling guides, made our trip to the Maldives even more special with sharks, mantas, coral reef, and sandbank trips. The hotel is centrally located on the island in a quiet location, just a 10-minute walk from Bikini Beach or the city center area where most shops and restaurants are located. It's also a 1-minute walk from a small but excellent local market (Ihuru Baazaaru), well-stocked with local fruit, jam, ice cream, and Sea Almonds (Kanamadhu). It's a great place to get your treats while supporting local farmers. We opted for full board, and all meals were served in a restaurant opposite the hotel. The food was a mix of international and local cuisine (Mas Huni) for breakfast. They accommodated all dietary requirements (lactose intolerance) with no issues. Breakfast and dinner were served on the ground floor, but the upstairs restaurant had a great selection of local and international food. The espresso was excellent.

There was no bike hire service at the hotel, but bikes could easily be rented at One Season Hotel (5 mins walk) for $5 a day. As Thoddoo is a fruit local island, some level of unfriendly fauna (mosquitoes) is expected, so don't forget your repellent and tie any opened food bags in your room. The air conditioner might need an upgrade. The bed was comfortable enough but could use an upgrade too. While we are not fans of watching TV in such a paradise, the TV set was a bit old and not able to show anything (local TV or streaming) but we didn't bother too much, taking a walk or having a mocktail in Thoddoo at night is a much better experience. The hotel adds a 3.5% charge for any card payment but informs you in advance in case you want to pay by cash. Also, there is an ATM near the port area that accepts all the major international cards.

Staff was very friendly. They cleaned our room every day. The breakfast was excellent and you had many options. Location is perfect, near most of the restaurants and shops. Also close to all beaches.

unfortunately we didnt get the rooms here, it was overbooked, so we stayed at Relax Villa. it was an upgrade to a bigger room. its quiet even at ramadan, the center is close with restaurants, shops, the beach was not too far. the staff was awesome, kind, helpful.

doesnt have bikes, the halfboard is in a restaurant, not in the hotel.

The location was perfect for both bikiny beaches! Personnel super friendly. The meals were very tasty (every time different dish). Offered a discount for excurtions. Overall stay was increadible!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff was always super helpful, kind and prepared to help us and accustom to our tight schedule, which we are grateful about. Would definitely stay here again!

We were upgraded to a villa which was an amazing surprise. Beautiful place. The staff was very kind. Daily cleaning and towel change. Air conditioner was working perfectly. We loved returning every day. We booked half board. The food is served in a pretty little restaurant around the corner and the food was very delicious. Not huge portions but we were satisfied. We also loved the location. Close to a bikini beach.

You should be aware that alcohol on Thoddoo island is strictly forbidden and is not served anywhere. We read there is a possibility to go to a boat bar for 5$ pp, though we didn't try. We went before the season started and thus had a few rainy days which resulted in the roads being flooded - this is a unique experience and should not hold you back for sure 😊

The location was amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Nothing everything exceeded my expectations.

Room very comfortable. Nice balcony. Staff was kind yet little communicative. Breakfast was very good. Personally I do not recommend half board because the portions at the restaurant are very light and small, although the fresh fruit juice does taste good. But with 70 rufyaa, which is about 5 euro, you can go eating a main course in local restaurants and it makes you more than full.

We did not receive any information about the island or available activities upon our arrival.

The staff was very respectful and helpful. They came to clean our room every day. It is located in the middle of the island, so everything is very near.

Unfortunately the exchange rate from dollars to MVR is not the best. It is worth to pay with dollars at the hotel, and at other places owned by the same company.

The Relax residence has a lot of "soul", which is fantastic. You can feel the Maldivian vibe while you are there. The hotel staff is really helpful and friendly. On top of that, the location is great in the middle of the Thoddoo island. Beautiful place!
