No complaints. Good bed, big and decent bathroom. We were picked up and brought back to the ferryport. Friendly and helpful staff. Free for use snorkeling gear. The pictures however are old and does not resemble the condition of the place when we were there. Our previous stay on Ukulhas (Sea La Vie) was significantly more cozy.

SwitzerlandThe room was outdated, definitely needs renovations. The bed pretty small and not so comfortable, but the location and staff make up for the shortcomings.
The location of the hotel is perfect, right on Sunset Beach, where you can enjoy a fresh coconut and some drinks at Coco bar. It has a beautiful garden and the staff is very helpful and nice. The breakfast is nice too, with a good selection of continental and Maldivian options. A special thanks to Miruppe for his kindness!

it’s located 40seconds from the beach, the manager and all the staff are really helpful and nice. You can choose a different breakfast every day. This place offers snorkeling equipment for free and you can buy extra trips (like sandbank, manta, or snorkeling safari) for a fair price.

SwedenOn Booking it was said there would be a breakfast buffet, but that was not the case. One had to order breakfast the night before and it was a pretty standard selection. Apart from the American breakfast with toast, one could choose between two kinds of Maldivian breakfast, which were both very good. The hotel did not have sunbeds reserved for its guests so we only managed to get sunbeds (on that beautiful tip of the island) one morning when we were up extra early. The other days we took a little walk along the beach and found sunbeds further down the beach. That was absolutely fine, but it was almost a little waste to stay in a hotel at the most beautiful part of the beach, but not being able to enjoy it.
It was situated in a much better place than was shown on the map! Right at the tip of the island by the fantastic beach. The hotel was a nice little building with a beautiful little garden. The pool table was nice as well. The beds were really good and the bathrooms spacious.

AustriaThe location was great. It is located front of a bikini beach, which, for us, was the best of the island. You can walk along the beach or swim to the other part of the beach. Both the host and the other worker were extremely nice and helpful. You can ask them any doubt you have and they will answer and help you out in every possible way. The breakfast was pretty good and very complete. They offer different breakfast options, three Maldivian, one continental and one American breakfast. We can say that the Maldivian breakfast were very tasty and fulfilling with more than enough food in the plates.

PhilippinesActivities they present is not the same as the one you will experience. For instance, "picnic island" looked really well planned and organized in their portfolio, reality is you set up your own umbrella and they hand you a few snack items you can eat in the island.
Chill place. Very close to the beach. Staff was very attentive. Everything was accessible from the hotel: beach, stores, restaurants, shops...

United KingdomDouble beds were 2 singles slotted together. Plug sockets hanging off the walls bugs. Wallpaper peeling off was overpriced for what it was staff member started trying to open the door pulling down the handle multiple times very loud while we were still in the room just to take out our iron. Stayed 5 nights Nobody once came in to clean the room but it was stated that it would be cleaned daily

Everything was great. Nice manager contacted us straight away after we made reservation. He will pick up us and our luggages from harbour nad give us lift back on departure. Nice and really clean room. Most important is a great location, in front of island with straight excess to sandy beach with sunbeds. Night beach dinner organized by manager looked spectacular. Really nice breakfast served from 7.30 AM Spaceus terrace on top of bulding with pool table and nice sitting area. Room with flat TV, fridge, kettle, coffee tea etc On booking is wrong pin address which showing wrong location - which is great and really clean. I can recommend for 100%.

GermanyThe owner seems to be stretched thin by managing several properties and planning the building of a new one. Because of that, he is barely present or aware of what's happening at Sea View Villa. Every room seems to have a problem (or three)... During our 10 days there, we ended up being moved to 4 (FOUR!) different rooms because of overbooking, bathroom overflowing with sewage water, bad planning by the owner, etc. To be fair, I must mention that it looks like he is planning to renovate one or more of the rooms soon, so hopefully some of these issues will be addressed. Keep in mind that the owner likes to tell stories, which we later found out to be untrue. We also heard this from other guests. So don't settle for whatever excuse he gives you, make sure you push back and get what you booked/need. One common trick he pulls (see other reviews) is to overbook this hotel and then ask the new guests to spend the first night at his other property, while giving some inventive excuse. We knew to expect this as we had read it in the reviews. He told us and another guest that the ferry had been cancelled due to bad weather so some guests had not been able to leave. When our fellow newly arrived guest pushed back, the owner said he had even had to pay for the guest's plane tickets because they missed their flight... That already sounds untrue, and when we later checked, we found out that the ferry had not been cancelled. Other guests at the Sea View told us that the true reason was that the rooms had been overflowing with sewage water that day. So beware of his stories! Although for completeness I must also add that the other property, Coco Villa is quite nice too, with better rooms than at the Sea View Villa, just not close to the beach. So it's not that bad, except that you have to repack your bags the next day to move.
The location is excellent, right at one end of the island, with the best beach just steps away. The breakfast is also not bad, as long as you remember to make your choice by 7pm the day before.

This hotel is a true gem of the island! The staff are incredibly friendly, with a special shoutout to Qaish for being especially kind. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the beach was just a short stroll away. The highlight for me was the Maldivian tuna coconut salad – absolutely delicious and a must-try for breakfast. Highly recommend this spot!
