Great access to a very nice beach A clean, well maintained property

Breakfast great

Double beds were 2 singles slotted together. Plug sockets hanging off the walls bugs. Wallpaper peeling off was overpriced for what it was staff member started trying to open the door pulling down the handle multiple times very loud while we were still in the room just to take out our iron. Stayed 5 nights Nobody once came in to clean the room but it was stated that it would be cleaned daily

The building is very old, bad smell of humidity in the room, during the week they did cleaning and changed towels just only one time, not flexible stuff, had issues with water supply, flies and insects inside the room.

Really nice comfortable bed and great location right beside the beach. Breakfast was really nice.

Everything was great. Nice manager contacted us straight away after we made reservation. He will pick up us and our luggages from harbour nad give us lift back on departure. Nice and really clean room. Most important is a great location, in front of island with straight excess to sandy beach with sunbeds. Night beach dinner organized by manager looked spectacular. Really nice breakfast served from 7.30 AM Spaceus terrace on top of bulding with pool table and nice sitting area. Room with flat TV, fridge, kettle, coffee tea etc On booking is wrong pin address which showing wrong location - which is great and really clean. I can recommend for 100%.

The location is excellent, right at one end of the island, with the best beach just steps away. The breakfast is also not bad, as long as you remember to make your choice by 7pm the day before.

The owner seems to be stretched thin by managing several properties and planning the building of a new one. Because of that, he is barely present or aware of what's happening at Sea View Villa. Every room seems to have a problem (or three)... During our 10 days there, we ended up being moved to 4 (FOUR!) different rooms because of overbooking, bathroom overflowing with sewage water, bad planning by the owner, etc. To be fair, I must mention that it looks like he is planning to renovate one or more of the rooms soon, so hopefully some of these issues will be addressed. Keep in mind that the owner likes to tell stories, which we later found out to be untrue. We also heard this from other guests. So don't settle for whatever excuse he gives you, make sure you push back and get what you booked/need. One common trick he pulls (see other reviews) is to overbook this hotel and then ask the new guests to spend the first night at his other property, while giving some inventive excuse. We knew to expect this as we had read it in the reviews. He told us and another guest that the ferry had been cancelled due to bad weather so some guests had not been able to leave. When our fellow newly arrived guest pushed back, the owner said he had even had to pay for the guest's plane tickets because they missed their flight... That already sounds untrue, and when we later checked, we found out that the ferry had not been cancelled. Other guests at the Sea View told us that the true reason was that the rooms had been overflowing with sewage water that day. So beware of his stories! Although for completeness I must also add that the other property, Coco Villa is quite nice too, with better rooms than at the Sea View Villa, just not close to the beach. So it's not that bad, except that you have to repack your bags the next day to move.

This hotel is a true gem of the island! The staff are incredibly friendly, with a special shoutout to Qaish for being especially kind. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the beach was just a short stroll away. The highlight for me was the Maldivian tuna coconut salad – absolutely delicious and a must-try for breakfast. Highly recommend this spot!

Best value for money. Breakfast included, with typical meals option. The rooms are big, the bathroom in the room huge. Location great. Qaish is super helpful and very cool owner. Strongly recommended.

Everything was great

- the breakfast was good. - the guy serving the breakfast was nice. - the location is good.

- the room is not cleaned at any point of the stay (bed sheets, towels, etc.). - it says that breakfast starts at 7:30, but you don’t get served until 7:50. This is really inconvenient when you go diving and the boat leaves at 8h. - there was a used bandaid in the shower. - there’s no hot water. - the aircon drips water (I think the filter has not been cleaned). It can be really annoying to constantly hear the drops at night. - when we got there, we got told that there was no rooms available, and we were out in another villa. We had to change the next day. - the place looks nothing like the pictures, there is no “garden”. It’s simply sand. - there’s definitely no sound proof, you can hear absolutely everything (even your neighbor taking a shower). - I have only seen a “receptionist” once during the whole stay (1 week). - we didn’t have enough toilet paper, and since there was no once to ask, we had to take paper from the tables outside. - we booked an extra night since we changed our plans. When we left, there was no one there so that we could pay the night. We had to leave the money at the reception with a note. Also, since the owner owed us 20 bucks, we discounted it from the amount. Every time he saw us on the street, he didn’t mention once that he would return the money.

One of the best spots on the island in terms of beach access/location.

Traveling through various islands, this place left a poor impression in terms of management. I had initially planned to stay for 4 nights but decided to leave after just 1. Upon arrival, the manager/owner barely welcomed me or provided any explanations about the property. They even forgot about my arrival and only barely made it in time for my departure. On the day of departure, during heavy rain, I had to insist on sitting inside the buggy rather than being placed in the trunk without proper seating, which posed significant risks due to road conditions and weather. The manager prioritized sitting in the rain-free space themselves, leaving me and my luggage exposed. Even though the rest of the staff of the hotel is very nice and keeps this place running, overall the client service was disappointing.

The location is near to beach, staff were very friendly and helpful. You can choose different breakfast every day. I can really recommend the local breakfast. We have everything what we need

All was just fine

The place is comfortable, with its own private beach which made the trip very convenient. The rooms are comfy and clean, recently renovated. It’s a beautiful spot, peaceful and the staff are incredibly helpful in everything. Perfect spot for quiet vacation with family.

I didn't like the door from the room because it had a big gap under the door filled where all kinds of ants and other insects got in

The hotel is located in one the best location at the island. Qaish was great host, he picked us up from the port and back. We contacted all the time through whats app, for any neccesity. Breakfast had many choices.

This hotel is located at the most premium beach of Ukulhas Island, They also have a private beach which is very peaceful also the staffs and specially the owner is very kind and helpful, we felt home at here we will definitely comeback to here and I recommend this hotel to others who come to ukulhas island
