Honestly, there was very little to dislike — the stay was exceptional. If we had to mention anything, it might just be that the time went by too quickly!

We had the most wonderful experience at Sirru Fen Fushi Private Lagoon Resort. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with the utmost care and attention. A very special thank you to our Villa Host, Faisal, who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and memorable. He was always available, attentive to every detail, and ensured we felt completely at home. His kindness and professionalism made a real difference to our trip. The resort itself is breathtaking — stunning lagoon views, beautifully designed villas, and an atmosphere of pure tranquility. The staff across the resort were warm, welcoming, and always eager to help with a smile. This was truly an unforgettable stay, and we are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a perfect mix of luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality.

Very overpriced to put it lightly… I have been to luxurious restaurants that would have much better food and is also cheaper. $36 for 4 cans of Diet Coke is outrageous.

We loved almost everything, the views, the staff hospitality and especially our butler Mr Hammu who made our stay 100% better.

Start to finish everything was perfect! I was extremely surprised with all the food services and menus! Exceptional. The comfort of the Safari beach Villa and design was incredible. The island was so peaceful and private and perfect sea life surroundings.

We came looking to explore underwater treasures and marine life while having a relaxing and quality time ! The hotel and its staff went beyond our expectations and we had an amazing stay, that we will remember forever 🙏 The staff was welcoming, smily and always ready to help from our arrival till the end of our journey (airport pickup, sea plane business lounge, sea plane transfer, etc.). We spent unforgettable moments with the team of the Sub Oceanic Fun center (scuba diving, snorkeling expedition and so many other activities)! Thank you Oscar for all the photos and good memories ! Our host Ziyaan was very kind, always available and made sure we always had what we needed. The island and its reef are stunning. Our water villa was well equipped and so comfortable (a huge bed with soft linens for perfect nights!)! You can snorkel easily from the villas or the beach, and it’s common to spot turtles, baby sharks or many other natural treasures ! J The food was excellent as well. We had the half board option and we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the dinner restaurants (kudos to the Kata restaurant and its staff)! We were amazed again by the kindness of the restaurants’ staff !

The privacy of the overwater villas as Arab we care a lot about it and unfortunately if any other guests takes a swim in the ocean they can see who is in the next door villa. And some guests do not care about privacy at all and you can find them snorkeling in your supposed to be private villa😅. Also if you want to book an overwater villa choose the sunset villas as the ocean there is more calm and you can swim the sunrise side is always windy and the waves are high and scary.

The service was perfect and special thanks to Mahmoud our host he was really really helpful and made our honeymoon experience at fairmont perfect. Everything was smooth and easy from check in to check out. The food was amazing Raha buffet, Kata, and BBQ menu for the destination dinner was delicious. Unfortunately we didn’t try Azure restaurant but I’m sure its nothing less than perfect!

The spa! Don’t bother! It’s not a luxury spa by any means! Very disappointing. No sea view either which seemed like a missed opportunity here by the fairmont! Very basic. The massage itself - 2/10 and eye watering expensive ($500+ usd for a one hour couple massage)! That was the only let down for us.

Amazing food, beautiful rooms! (Depending on which one you’re given, the quality of the beach in front will vary a lot, sunrise is not that nice, rocky and yellow flag conditions all the time. However sunset villas - wow! What a difference! It’s calm and beautiful, some villas have their own private patch of beach, some don’t! (Ours did we were lucky) The food was amazing! In particular we liked Asian night. I wouldn’t bother going to the Japanese restaurant but the sea food restaurant is lovely and worth a visit. The island is not too big not too small. Felt like we had our own private island sometimes! Vibe was good. We travelled with a 2 year old and he adored Kay in kids club! We also went diving and got lucky with an eagle ray! The house reef is on the doorstep and really quite lovely - no need to go lower than 12 m either!

Bills do not include service and GST charge, which is about 26% more than the advertised price and that’s a very sneaky and not very nice way to charge a customer.

The villas were super stylish and clean and very spacious. The staff were super friendly and great music and atmosphere.
