Sky view has it all. Good vibes. Nice room. Lots of facilities. Outdoor terrace. Big breakfast. Sport equipment. Very close to the bikini beach and the gym. But the very best is the manager. Areef is excellent. So kind and helpful. Took us to the excursions with passion. We had the best time ever in the island. Thanks Areef

Our stay was simply perfect. We were the only guests when we arrived and they gave us the best room. The structure is perfectly maintained. Both the room and the common areas were always clean and tidy, the garden is lovely. It is also possible to borrow snorkeling and other sport equipment for free and they are kept in good condition. Areef is a great host, we did whale shark and manta snorkeling with him and he was the best! He always brought us in the best spots and we had a great experience. On our first day he also gave us a ride to a nearby island with a great reef. I could live in this place!

My warm recommendations for this accommodation. The owner Areef is very friendly and kind, everything is easy to arrange with him. The accommodation was clean and tidy, the breakfast was good (especially the Maldivian one :D).

Very nice rooms with good AC and a great bathroom. The common spaces were very nice too. Snorkel gear is included for free and the breakfast that was prepared daily was very nice

It was very clean, pick up and drop off at the harbor , Areef was very helpful. Breakfast was ok, and Areef arranged it at a time that was convenient for us. Wi fi was ok for social media.

We stayed 5 nights here. It’s a peaceful and lovely island. The hotel owner Areef is very helpful but maintain a friendly distance. Firstly he will show you the local island around and introduce you the useful information. He can also help to arrange the activities in a reasonable price. It’s an unforgettable experience to see the whale shark. The nearby isolated resort trip is unexpectedly awesome. There are a lot of repeated guests here. Then you will know the value of the island and the hotel.

Perhaps they could offer a variety of options for breakfast to cater to different tastes and preferences. But it’s understandable, Maldives relies on imports.

Very helpful stuff and clean room. Breakfast every morning was organized in the nice garden with full of mango trees. Hotel is located not far from bikini beach so it is a big advantage.

The guesthouse is great, near the bikini beach and the port. The room was very nice e clean, with air conditioning and WiFi. The continental breakfast had both sweet and salty options and it was nice to eat under the porch in the little garden outside. There are some nice restaurants near the structure, with good food and very low prices. In the Main Street, which is only 3 minutes walk, you can buy whatever you need (food, souvenirs, sunscreen…). And now the greatest part of our vacation: the structure offers many excursions to see mantas, whale sharks, dolphins and turtles, like other diving centers on the island. But none of these can count on Areef: he was the best guest we could have hoped for. He guided us through all the excursions, suggesting the best day to see all that we wanted: he has a real gift to always find the animals and he always brought us the closest to them. Plus, the excursions at Sky View are way cheaper than other diving centers and you will be in very small groups: there were just the two of us (and Areef) in most of the excursions we had. Areef treated us in the best way, always offering his help and knowledge of the area. In addition, we were very unlucky during our last day: because of the bad conditions of the sea, we weren’t able to reach the airport by speedboat and Areef, once again, saved us. He booked for us two seats in a seaplane, which wouldn’t have been possible without him, since these flights are usually meant only for the guests of resorts. We really enjoyed our stay and we will always thank Areef for his kindness and hospitality.

Sky View Dhangethi is a cozy little 4 room property on the quaint island of Dhangethi. Very clean and pretty spacious rooms, thoughtful details such as beach towels provided and a water hose outside to wash off your feet before you enter, and a decent continental breakfast provided everyday make this place excellent value for money. But what makes it most stand out of all is the service and help provided by Areef, the caretaker. He was so obliging, friendly and welcome- he showed us around the whole island and gave us tips about where to eat and what to see. One day we went diving at 6 am and Areef ensured we had breakfast packed before we left at 5.45 am! The room was cleaned everyday. The bathroom was small but neat with proper partitioning of the shower area so the room doesn’t get fully wet every time one showers. Air conditioning worked well and Wi-Fi was decent. Overall a very comfortable stay and Areef made us feel like we were at home. He also let us keep the room till 1.45 pm before we had to leave for our ferry.

Honestly, if not for Areef I would have given this property a 9 for this one issue- there was a strong and persistent smell of sewage or the drainage system in our bathroom throughout our stay. Additionally the windows look onto the hall outside, so there is no natural sunlight and you cannot open the curtains if you want privacy. However, like I said, Areef more than made up for all of this.

Areef was very welcoming and helped us solving any problem we encountered. The breakfast was good!

Areef is super friendly and hard working owner, if you need something, just tell him and its done. Perfect accomodation with stunning garden. Island is small, full of local life, if you want to experience Maldives on its own, here is the right place.

We loved everything about Sky View. From the facilities to the location to how comfortable/quiet the rooms were. Our room was kept immaculate throughout our 5 night stay. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day. Tours were excellent and very reasonably priced with snorkeling equipment provided if necessary. But the best thing for us was Areef the host. He instantly made us feel very welcome and would reply instantly via WhatsApp for anything we needed. He's from Dhangethi so knows it and the entire area very well. Would absolutely recommend Sky View and Dhangethi.

We really enjoy our stay here as the room is spacious and clean. They do room service on a daily basis. What is the most is the manager Areef is there always to take care of us and to make sure we enjoy the most of our holiday. He took us on the excursions to see the Manta Ray, whale sharks and turtles 🐢. An amazing experience!!!

Everything was great! The hotel is very comfortable- very nice and modern rooms with fridge.kettle.tea-coffe sugar bags.drinking water.AC.very comfortable beds and very good shower with hot water. They have a nice yard with veranda with fans.chairs.tables.and even a swing. Banana palms with fruit .orchids and other trees and flowers decorate it. Location is good- close to the haurlber.dive centers.beaches.cafes ans shops. The hotel can provide you lunch and dinner of your choice. And great-great thanks to the staff!!! They organised our reservations for the speed boats.gave good advice and helped with everything I felt myself like at home- very friendly home!!! The hotel organises many interesting snorkeling trips! I hope to visit them again!!! Thank you so much!!!!

Fantastic guesthouse in beautiful dhangethi run by Areef who is the most incredibly attentive host . Nothing is too much for him . He helped us with EVERYTHING , transfers excursions etc…, we didn’t have to worry about anything he had all bases covered. He took us around the island and recommended places to eat /things to do . He took us on a trip to see mantas and whale sharks . He even lent us a phone when we went out for the day to another island in case we needed to get in touch or needed help , and called us at the end of the day to inform us of boat times and delays. Areef is very knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with him about the maldives , culture/religion /daily life/ traditions and the marine life, we learned so much in the 3 days we spent at sky view. The guesthouse is modern and clean , very comfortable bed , spacious room and bathroom with an excellent shower . Stunning tropical Garden to sit out and relax and where breakfast is served in the morning. And all of that is great but the reason you should book this place is Areef! That man takes attention to detail to another level , his service skills , attentiveness and dedication to making your trip extra special will make your stay an unforgettable experience . The rooms were comfortable and clean. They were serviced every day. Breakfast was good and on a couple of days we had a Maldivian breakfast. Areef took me in several excellent trips to see the Whale shark and Manta Rays. Another trip was to the derelict resort island which had excellent soft corals and loads of fish plus a moray eel.

We love absolutely everything about this accommodation and especially Areef as a host. He is very kind, nice and helpful - he gave us a tour of the island and always helped us with everything, he made our holiday so much better. The accommodation itself is great and clean, it has everything you need. The hotel environment is very pleasant with a garden - i loved it. Dhangethi island has lots of beautiful places that are a short walk from accommodation. I was visited multiple accommodations in the Maldives and Sky View was clearly the best both in amenities and host, and hope to return here sometime. Thank you and good luck Areef!

Sometimes maybe slow wifi, but that's a small thing when you're in such a fantastic place. Otherwise nothing!
