How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewFrom the first moment we stepped into the hotel they started creating weird excuses for charging us and then doubling the price then claiming they made a special discount for us like if we are 4 year old children! very annoying and disrespectful. We felt like dealing with a local market full of scammers not a 5 start hotel (supposedly). We booked a villa that’s written it had 2 twin beds and 2 king beds, when we arrived they said it’s only for two adults and the description is wrong on booking. They made us cancel from booking and book two villas from directly (again claiming they made a discount by charging us same booking rate while in fact they gained more when we pay them directly. It was frustrating and extremely annoying dealing with them, and they ruined our whole first two days talking about this). They charged us for a blanket we put in the balcony and got wet because of rain , AGAIN saying that the actual price is 280 but they made a discount to 140, when the bill comes it was 145, we asked them why? They said it’s tax. What tax is 3.5% in Maldives? Only god knows. They ended it by charging us for photos they didn’t give to us(they remembered to add it to the room bill but forgot to give us, all what they think about is the bill, not the service). We asked them to bring it to airport they refused and said we will ship it. God knows if they will do. We don’t trust them anymore. Highly not recommended. They made us decide it’s last time we go to Maldives.

Regarding your reservation, we acknowledge discrepancy in the bedding configuration of the Family Beach Pool Villa with Capsule, which has been reported to Booking.com to ensure accurate details for future guests. Since you initially booked a split stay in two unit of one Bedroom Ocean Water Pool Villas for 4 guests and a Family Beach Pool Villa with Capsule for 2 guests. Upon arrival, we identified all guests were over 12 years old and the Family Beach Pool Villa with Capsule could not accommodate five adults, we offered rebooking with two unit of One Bedroom Ocean Villas for the second stay, consistent with your first stay arrangement. Furthermore, as a gesture of goodwill and part of our service recovery efforts, we provided a complimentary banana boat ride for your family. Concerning the photos, we apologize for the delay in delivering the printed copies, however the soft copies were sent to you via email, the printed photos are being arranged for shipment to you. We discovered the duvet placed outside the villa and damaged by exposure to rain. While the charge was applied, we kindly offered a discounted price as a gesture of goodwill. This was our first trip to the Maldives, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice — the hotel is incredibly stylish, brand new, and absolutely stunning in every detail. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Everyone was extremely welcoming and attentive to our wishes. We celebrated a birthday during our stay (and it turned out to be the best celebration ever!) — the team went above and beyond to make the day feel magical, with heartfelt congratulations and thoughtful efforts that touched us deeply. We would especially like to thank Maria, who guided us from the moment we arrived until our departure, always helpful and supportive with everything we needed. Also a warm thank you to Luna for her kindness, care, and friendly assistance throughout our stay. Verified reviewThe only thing that was great was the fact that we were in Maldives. They compensated us with an experience to see dolphins, which we didn't see, and also a lovely lunch (which was great).

Verified review1.No room service after 12 as usual there is late menu in every hotel i don’t know where i will find a bread for my daughter in an island 2.7 am they knocked on door asking when i will leave i and it wasn’t my check out day 3.from 11 until 6 no one cleaned my room i put clean room button on ! 4.last day they cleaned my room but my minibar was not refilled my daughter asked for cola because mini bar wasn’t refilled the guy on front desk answered: call back at 11 pm :) 5.someone entered my room i came with cigarettes smell 6.they were nice on welcome but no one bothered to say how was your stay on check out only they took my signature on the room bell and left !

Verified review1. Close to airport, approximately 15 mins by speed boat 2. Pretty new
1. You’ll wait for any ride for 30-40 mins. So you’ll use a bike unless it’s a rain. Then you’ll wait 30-40 mins each way. At morning you’ll call guest service for 15-20 mins 2. Nothing is free at this resort, not even cola in mini bar. Third time on Maldives and first time we paid for everything everywhere 3. 2 previous hotels were much better for less money. We wanted an upgrade and got downgrade 4. Don’t count on early check in if your flight is at morning, you’ll wait for exactly 15:00 as it is on booking. No drinks will be offered. Well, they don’t have to, but aren’t we looking for service?
