We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

UkraineWe came to the Maldives for the first time as a group of girls on a tour, and choosing this hotel was truly the best decision we could have made. The atmosphere is always created by people, and here, every single person on the staff is absolutely wonderful, kind, respectful, helpful, and welcoming in every possible way. Breakfasts here are the healthiest and most delicious I’ve ever had while traveling, and the hotel restaurant is hands down the best on the island. Simbe, the owner, is incredibly attentive to every guest. You can feel how much he cares. All the activities were also unforgettable, so well organized and fun! When we come back to the Maldives, there’s no doubt in our minds, it will definitely be to this same hotel. I would give it 100 out of 10 if I could. Wishing Simbe and Elvira continued success and amazing guests always. ❤️

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed! The island is beautiful, the food on the hotel’s restaurant was so delicious! The whole staff was very kind. I think was differentiates this hotel is the excursions it offers. It was a unique experience going out with Simbe and trying to find turtles, mantas and sharks which we did end up finding! Thank you Simbe and Elvira for an excellent experience! We will come back in the future

PolandI'll start by saying that we were warmly welcomed right from the moment we were picked up from the speedboat. The owner greeted us with a glass of juice and took the time to tell us about the island, how the hotel operates, and the local rules. Check-in was smooth and efficient, as was check-out. The room was clean and pleasantly cooled in preparation for our arrival, with no unpleasant odors coming from the air conditioning. The bathroom, towels, and bedding were also spotless. The room is cleaned daily, and towels are frequently replaced. There is a restaurant on site that serves fairly decent breakfasts (I highly recommend adding a glass of juice – they are absolutely delicious!). Lunches and dinners were also good, with reasonable prices. The hotel and restaurant staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. Special praise goes to the excursions organized by the owner – he arranges them brilliantly to ensure guests are satisfied. Snorkeling with manta rays (almost within arm’s reach) was an unforgettable and beautiful experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

Czech RepublicBeautiful and quiet island, amazing accommodation with great and always helpful staff. The beach is 10 minutes away by a beautiful jungle walk but definitely worth it. Never ending gradual entry into the sea, you can't find a better place for kids. You can feed the stingrays in the harbour or go fishing and watch the dolphins along the way. Elvira and Sibme are amazing owners.. thank you!

ChinaAlmost nothing. The island is under a lot construction, so from our toilet, we can hear the neighbor hotel’s building noise but this is not this hotel’s fault, especially when everywhere is building something. Another one is maybe because the toilet is too big also our room is near the garden, there’re some ants at night on toilet floor but daytime didnt have.
This hotel is actually very big with over 20 rooms and 6 villas, where is supposed to be the biggest one on this island. Our garden-view room comes with very good price but still spacious, one extra big king bed with one more single bed which is sufficient for a couple even one-kid family. The toilet is very big with tons of space. I love the two shelves inside our room where you can hang a lot of clothes and towels. The whole hotel is very clean and well-organized by the boss couple. We really appreciate their efforts to take care this beautiful island and their exquisite hotel. Fulhadhoo was our first island of this trip, and after we arrived the second island, with comparison, we realized that the water activities provided by Three Hearts like sea fishing, mantas snorkeling were actually very good prices. We kinda regretted that we didn’t do there. With private boat and that price, it’s a very good deal. Staffs are very nice and helpful, young boys and girls, working hard. Thanks so much for their services. Foods are very good, especially the curry fish, which is almost the best curry I’ve ever had in my life. We had all our 3 meals in this hotel during our stay. Breakfast is very good too! You don’t get to choose but it’s already very delicious and enough to replenish your energy for the whole morning. They have cold fresh coconut which we may take it for granted but actually we only got warm ones at other restaurants. Believe it or not, warm fresh coconut and cold fresh coconut taste totally different.

CanadaThese are only suggestions - as the beautiful west beach is 1 km away from the guesthouse, it takes us at least 15 mins to go there, although you can go to the nearby bikini beach in 3-5 mins, however it does have much of a beach during high tide. So, if possible, please provide some forms of transportation to take us to the west beach: the most beautiful beach in Fulhadoo e.g. bicycles or a golf cart ride, or get some local person to come and give us a ride and we can pay a dollar for a ride, something like that, so that we do not need to walk so long in the heat. - the air conditioner still has some noise after being fixed: so perhaps it is time to replace it.
This guesthouse is a home away from home. Simber and Elvira work so hard to make sure we are well taken care of. The followings are the specific highlights: - excellent service at the guesthouse restaurant - love the manta rays, turtle and ocean snorkelling excursions at a very reasonable price for just the two of us - saw so many beautiful fish as if I were diving. - go on a sunset fishing trip and literally caught 29 fish in one hour - enjoy an amazing after the fishing trip free lunch with the big red grouper fish we caught during the fishing trip - a wide variety of Maldivian dishes to choose from the menu plus some western food plus a variety of amazingly good a la carte breakfasts - pre-ordering food from the lunch and dinner menu allows us to spend more time on the beach without troubling the restaurant to wait for us as we always come in late for lunch and dinner due to the fact that we want to spend more time on the amazing beach - immediate response from the facility team to fixing the air conditioner when it suddenly has big noises coming out after the 2nd day - hosts always checking in with us if we are doing alright and how our days are going - amazingly beautiful big sandbank and an unspoiled beach which all the locals said that the beach is the most beautiful one in Maldives: honestly, it is so beautiful, water is warm, safe, minimal wave, we soaked in the water for hours, plus it is never crowded, serene, and peaceful, unbelievable beach: you need to see it and feel it yourself - house reef which we can snorkel, however be careful of the currents during high tide - honestly I love the 8 days we spent there

South AfricaLeaving. Small thing but they could have changed the dirty cups in our room.
We had a great stay at Three Heart Guesthouse on the most beautiful island. Simbe was always very friendly and welcoming and took us on 2 amazing snorkeling trips. Snorkeling was also half the price of the other island that we stayed in and more individually focused. Just 2 people per trip. The accommodation was comfortable and all we needed for our trip.

United KingdomThe only thing I didn't like is the fact that for breakfast there is a poor choice for children. I loved the food, but my 5 year old did not have a choice for a kids breakfast. And juices were extra. I understand all juices are fresh, so the need to charge extra, but maybe they could do an exception for children.
The location was simply amazing. Fulhadhoo is possibly my favourite island in the Maldives so far (I visited 4 island in total). The 'bikini' beach was stunning with an incredible house reef. Room very comfortable and clean. Food very good, the curries especially. I still dream of the Maldivian fish curry. Elvira and Simbe were also very welcoming and always available for extra info, help etc. They also organised lovely excursions (snorkelling, fishing, turtle and manta snorkelling) that are affordable and well done.

United KingdomHaving to leave it behind.
Fulhadhoo is a beautiful, serene island that still feels quite wild. We have been to lots of beautiful beaches around the world and the beach at Fulhadhoo is one of the best. We were also surprised by how good the diving was here and even snorkelling the house reef we saw sharks, eagle rays and turtles. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant has a diverse menu and the food is generally good quality. The excursions (which are private trips) are very reasonably priced - we did night snorkeling with UV lights and Manta Snorkelling. You’re more likely to be alone with mantas here compared with most places in the world.

SlovakiaThe hosts are very nice and always want to make sure everything is all right. Fresh delicious food is served every day. Portions were big enough and we were not hungry. I can only recommend the Full Board package since you will get to taste all the possible meals. Extremely nice stuff in the restaurant, always smiling. There is a lot of activities and trips available - they are all private (2 people), so you get all the time and attention you need. Free snorkeling tools are available. 15 minutes walking through the jungle to the Bikini beach. The room was cozy with everything we needed with an extra welcome for us :) The beach is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. It is exactly what you want to see when you visit Maldives - crystal clear blue water, white sand, coral reef. The beach is long so it was never really full, always just few people there. It is a paradise that everyone should visit at least once.

Another unforgettable experience in Fulhadhoo! We have just returned back home from another wonderful stay at this charming and welcoming guesthouse. We were here for 2 weeks 3 years ago and we have missed this place since then, so it was just lovely to finally come back. What truly makes the visit special, is the lovely host couple. Simbe and Elvira have created an amazing atmosphere where you will feel at home as soon as you walk in, and they are always available to answer questions and assist with everything you need. It is lovely to have a chat with them about how the day has been, to get to know more about the island or anything else. Thanks to their warm hospitality and dedication to doing everything for their guests, it is easy to feel welcomed and totally safe. They have a nice restaurant/café with a big variety of lovely dishes - good prices too! There is a cosy lounge on the property, making it a perfect place to hang around and read, play games or getting to know other guests. They also have lounge sets right outside of the property where you can sit down and relax. The guesthouse offers many kinds of excursions so the guests truly can experience what makes Maldives so special. In addition to the host couple, the staff in the kitchen, the waiters and the cleaners are all very friendly, helpful and good at their job. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking a truly warm and welcoming experience in Fulhadhoo.

The island is a paradise and Elvira and Simbe are trying really hard for the guests to feel as comfortable as possible. Three Hearts are located on the edge of a jungle beside the beach and just a short beautiful walk to the most amazing sandy beach. We had a great trip to see the mantas. The food they prepare everyday is just delicious, every day something new and healthy on the menu. It is a place to return.

MalaysiaWiFi connection isn’t always super great, and only available at the room. So as a solo traveler, eating alone 3 times a day, without WiFi, is quite boring. All the excursions they offer are for 2 people. So as a solo traveler you cannot really do them, unless you pay for 2 people…. Not a place to meet new people, if you want to meet people and do stuff and night, don’t come to Fulhadhoo. 1 day they were doing renovations at the room next to me, which disturbed me a little, all these construction sounds. Anyway, none of the above changed my good opinion about the guesthouse and no reason to not come back.
One of the best stays ever. Rooms are so lovely, spacious, modern, clean, feels like a little home. Usually I don’t spend much time at my room but here I was all the time looking forward to going back to the room again. Location is perfect. Owners are super hospitable and helpful, everything is taken care off, from pick up at the airport till drop off at the boat again. And they arrange the boat for you, you don’t even have to buy your own ticket, they do it for you and make sure your get everywhere on time, so we don’t have to think about anything. Food at the restaurant is great, even though they have limited resources on the island. And the staff is super kind of professional.

United Kingdom- Extreme lack of sunbeds at the beach compared to the people ratio. And the people of course "reserve" those sunbeds already quite early in the morning which really bothered us a lot. However there are lots of really comfortable sunbeds in front of the property, however unfortunately this is not right at the Bikini Beach. - Quite limited shade on the island (not the fault of the guest house), and no sun umbrellas at all which was a big issue for us and we couldn´t make as much use of the beach as we wanted to because of this (and the lack of sunbeds) - Mosquitoes (obviously not the fault of the guest house). I didn´t read anything about mosquitoes from other travellers, so I just wonder if my husband and I got extremely unlucky, because we were both bitten excessively despite using really strong mosquito repellent. - No entertainment options in the evening, such as Live-Music, Bingo, or any other fun group activities. This of course is not a problem if you really seek tranquility. - Internet connection was quite unstable and really bad (for us at least). But you could also see this as a win because it really helps you to completely switch off and unwind. - Quite a bit of a walk to the island tip (20 mins) however there are 2 options (either through the jungle) or through the beach which are both really nice. In this case it would be amazing if bikes could be available for rent in the future. However it only takes 2 minutes to walk to the beginning of the beautiful Bikini Beach, so that´s extremely convenient if you don´t want to walk all the way to the island tip. - The above are all just minor points and did not really spoil our experience at all, however the sunbed situation definitely affected us most, so hopefully this could be improved in the future.
- Hospitality of the owners (Elvira and Simbe), and all staff (waiters, kitchen, cleaners) was absolutely outstanding and super friendly - This guest house´s location is probably one of the closest ones to the Bikini Beach - Very reasonable prices of excursions - We did the Manta Ray Snorkeling excursion (and within 1 minute we got to see 2 beautiful Manta Rays) and Simbe even captured this amazing moment for us with our phone), as well as Night Snorkeling which literally felt like out of Avatar. Super cool and unique experience!! - Room was extremely clean and made on a daily basis. We also got some really beautiful honeymoon bed decorations. - The Bikini Beach is just unreal and looks like out of a photoshopped magazine, that´s how beautiful it is. The sandbar is stunning too, and on the island tip there are some really adorable "Coral Trees". The beach is huge and there is plenty of space for everyone - Food quality was out of this world, and whilst the portion sizes are a bit smaller compared to "Western Standard" they were definitely adequate for a normal-sized body and food waste can be eliminated this way. In any case if you are still hungry, you can always order more. The food and drinks prices are extremely reasonable. And we almost tried everything from the menu. It was extremely tasty and fresh with great quality ingredients. Breakfast was different every day too, and quite Maldivian. It was very tasty - At night we got to see lots of cute baby sharks, and Stingrays at the harbour which was an incredible experience. - The house reef is absolutely incredible and we got to see so many amazing types of tropical fish - Property in general is extremely well maintained, tidy, and clean - Speedboat transfer was arranged in a very smooth way. Be aware though that it´s a 2 hour journey and quite bumpy. Lots of people on our speedboat got sick. However we took travel sickness tablets and were totally fine.

United StatesThe cleaning staff was outstanding. I like to sleep with at least a lightweight duvet and when we were given only a top sheet and a small blanket (imagine the size of an airline's blanket), I asked for more sheets and blankets and they were immediate in assisting me. We appreciated that!! We are "repeaters" for a reason!
Every morning, I loved the planned breakfasts (not a buffet like many other places). There was almost always a mix of eggs, fruit, a Maldivian dish, "milk coffees", and a large bottle of water. That offering ensured that you didn't have to wait long for your food. Ditto the coffee--- which they got right to us as we sat down to "our" table (and believe me this caffeine lover needs that each and every morning!). At any and every meal, the Three Hearts restaurant delivered high quality food--and infinitely faster preparation than any other restaurant on the island. Their restaurant is quite well run and the staff is well-trained, especially relative to other restaurants. One important feature that took us a few days to figure out: They have posted all menus -- including the dishes you can order by 11:00am for service that evening. So take note all of you foodies out there: local island food generally is not but so varied. Three Hearts has done an outstanding job at trying to expand their offerings by arranging meal requests (and ergo the chef's preparation) in advance. I would urge all diners to try this for at least one dinner. Having the owners right on property always means that the staff is crisper and more attentive + Three Hearts again delivered! Also, expect fresh fish at quite affordable prices, w the side dish of fresh veggies. On an island, it's not easy to have fresh fruits and veggies. Three Hearts excelled in offering more than other restaurants (which is not to say that they had LOTS of veggie options-- no one did-- it's an island, Folks!!-) + their food choices were ery healthy ones. With a la carte + fixed offerings, we never tired of their menu. I was excited to see the new 4 rooms that 8 year old Three Hearts has just opened- beautiful with a sea view. Adults only. The furniture is light wood (some Thai) and the details in the spacious rooms are handsome. The laundry service was fast and affordable.
