The staff guy was very helpful & hospitable, spoke good English. The breafast in the inner yard was very nice. The guesthouse is very small, but cozy.

The room behind the reception is very dark and defenitely needs some rennovation. The sanitary equipment looks very tired & can't add any nice monents to your stay. The spider in the bathroom was more than I can stand, so I had to move to another place.

Very nice hotel, everything is in place

very close to the mosque, you feel like you have a speaker above your room, so you get a wake-up call at 5am every day

Pavan was an excellent host, making sure we had fresh towels, beach towels, fabulous breakfast every day, and arranging our speedboat transfers, personally greeting us on arrival and seeing us off at 530am! Thank you Pavan

Property was in a good central location. Pavan was very helpful met us at the ferry and took us back at the end of our stay. He tried to accommodate any requests we had with the best of his ability. We like to have traditional Maldivian breakfast, Pavan did manage to accommodate our request for this on two days but the other days we were given continental breakfast which is disappointing, I dint want continental breakfast in the Maldives.

Our stay was great! We really enjoyed our time in Mathiveri, a true Maldivian island. The property is really nice, placed centrally in the island with everything within reach. Pawan was great and really helped us with everything we might have needed. I hope we can come back soon.

Some maintenance inside the rooms might be helpful to put the level a notch higher, but these are really just details.

Friendly staff, they can help with transfer to and from the island, very clean and nice room. Breakfast made at the moment from the manager, chill atmosphere.

Breakfast could be better Close to the mosque, so you will be awaken quite early (but that’s to be respected, as it’s part of the culture of the Maldives)

The breakfast wad nice and healthy because it contained a selection of fresh fruit and I really enjoyed seeing some lizards here and there. It would be better

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Vacanza Mathiveri, and it was an outstanding experience! Abdulla, the owner, was incredibly available and went above and beyond to assist us. Whether it was arranging transportation, setting up excursions, or helping with any other needs, he was always there to help. The accommodations were comfortable and welcoming, making for a truly relaxing stay. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious, adding a lovely start to each day. I can't recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway. Thank you, Abdulla, for making my stay so memorable!

The rooms could be better soundproofed

What I liked about our accommodation was its partnership with an amazing tour and scuba diving company, Dive Club Buoyancy. The place was also very affordable, and we got a room upgrade for a small fee and the room was quite spacious.

Unfortunately, there were quite a few things we didn’t like about our stay. The most significant issue that ruined our comfort was the lack of proper windows. The listing showed a window, but what we got faced the kitchen area, and we couldn’t even open the curtains. The only light came through a small vent in the bathroom, so we had to keep the lights on during the day to see anything. When we asked to change rooms, we were told that none of the rooms had proper windows, just small panes around the doors that didn’t let in much light. Another problem was that our room was never cleaned during our stay. After our tours and diving, we had a lot of sand in the room. The breakfasts were also a disaster. I’ve been to two other local islands, and nowhere did they skimp on breakfast like here. Besides toast, there was only one egg, and we had to ask for a second one. When we once asked for a sausage, we were told that today was egg day and sausage would be the next day. We couldn’t get enough to eat, and we needed energy for diving. Luckily, there was a nearby restaurant, Kina Chai, where everything was delicious. Overall, we regretted choosing this accommodation. Although it was close to everything because the island is small, a better location would have been near any beach. This place was so close to two mosques that the prayers woke us up around 4 or 5 AM every day. It was a nightmare.

The guesthouse is small (only four rooms) and welcoming. Each room is also very simple: Mathiveri is a local island so forget about the stereotype of resort and luxory, but the structure is cleaned and you will have all you need to stay confortable and enjoy your vacation. But, what more than everything else made our stay really great was Non Powan, the guy who is in charge of the guesthouse management. He’s so kind and willing, always trying to help you enjoy your days. Last but not least, we really suggest to take advantage of the to partnership that the guesthouse is offering: the first one is with, we think, the best restaurant in the island: Irube Cafè. The second one is with PADI, one of the excursions centres of Mathiveri. Very recommended!

Very nice place to stay at Mathiveri. Very nice service, clean rooms, always smiling crew. We felt very welcomed. Also you can benefit from large list of excursions they offer for good price.

That there was no window (in fact the window had to be draped as it looked out on the internal yard) Maybe they should serve pancakes beside the eggs they do different styles (omelette/ fried/ boiled)

North Room. A fantastic place to stay. Clean room, comfy bed, great aircon and bathroom, also a nice breakfast to start the day.The guys were great and really looked after us as well. We booked our excursions through the guest house. You can't help but relax once you get your bearings. Highly recommended.

I’m fully recommending spending vacations here. Hotel is well-kept, clean and charming run by super nice and professional people. Rooms have air conditioning, fridge, safe lock. We’ve been on some trips organised by the owner of Vacanza: manta rays, great coral reef, sharks and whale sharks and I think we’re gonna remember them for the rest of our lives! Just added photos from them. You can also try your hand in scuba diving or even do a courses like OWD with guarantee professionalism. They have special qualifications and diving equipment. And hotel is also situated in beautifull island, where coral reef is full of various life and people are unbelievably kind. I’m bery satisfied and rested after spending time here and I’ll gladly come back
