The breakfast had very few options and tasted terrible.

What satisfied me the most was the staff, as their service attitude was excellent.

The rooms were not sounproofed , but I could manage some nice sleep , so it is not a big deal.

The staff was absolutly amazing, very kind and helpful , big thanks to Niflar and Anusha who were always so sweet to me :) also the room was quite big and clean , I had an amazing view with a nice balcony:) I liked the breakfast too !

Despite of booking two months in advance when we arrived there were not enough rooms and they moved us to a room even worse than the one we booked. After insisting they moved two of us to a different hotel for one day, having to move again the following day. It was dissapointing for us since we lost a lot of time moving around. Hence the punctuation

It would be perfect 10 but internet is very weak plus no internet in the room, wi fi signal is also breaking

WiFi is very slow. Not working sometimes. Improving WiFi will increase the stay more comfortable.

Everything was perfect. They dropped off and took from another hotel as well. Very good behaviour.

We celebrated my Hubby's 50th birthday at the Velana and Rimzan and team made it such a memorable time. They decorated the room and gave us a cake :) Our room was clean and comfortable and had all we needed. We had all meals included and the food was delicious and presented so well, 5 stars for the chef! The best grilled Tuna steak I have ever had. The staff are the heart of the hotel. A special thank you to Rimzan, Pinky, Nethmi and Sujir for the awesome friendly service we always received!

Room was a bit dated, and mattress a bit firm for our liking, but value for money.

Great location, comfortable room, good breakfast, and friendly staff. The manager was really helpful and went out of his way to make our stay great, picking us up and dropping us off at the boat jetty and organising out day trips!

Maybe the beach in the front of the hotel should be equipped with some sunbeds, bean bags or some items to chill and relax in the afternoon (although we are well aware this is a non-bikini beach).

We are pleased with what we have found here and we are glad we choose this hotel, especially because it is located in a quiet neighborhood and not right across the port like other hotels. The room was ok, nothing extraordinary, but it was clean and sufficient for our short stay there. The staff was polite and friendly and we had a good dinner buffet there, we tried the local food and we enjoyed it. All in all, it was a good choice and i liked also the lounge/cafeteria set-up in front of the hotel. In the evenings or mornings its good to relax there in the swing.

The hotel room was a great size with a really cool balcony. All the facilities were as described with a clean shower and comfy bed. The breakfast was really good with lots of options as well as offering a decent range if you wanted the additional dinner. The location was excellent as right next to the beach. The staff were great and helpful if you needed to book any additional tours.

Everything was so great! Especially the service is on high level, staff is very friendly and helpful. They are the reason why we would be back in Mafushi one day and stay at Velana. Thank you for everything 👍🏼🫂
