Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. ZimbabweI had a wonderful stay at Divine Heights. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. One of the standout highlights was the food—absolutely spectacular! The chef's shepherd's pie easily makes it into my top 10, and the full English breakfast each morning was equally impressive. There was a minor hiccup with room service communication, but it was resolved promptly and professionally. The staff speaks English well, so even without knowing the local vernacular, I had no trouble getting assistance. While the location is a bit removed from the city center, it's peaceful and quiet—something I really appreciated as a solo traveler. Despite being dropped off by my hired taxi, I felt completely safe and slept soundly without any disturbances. The room was also thoughtfully equipped with a mosquito net and insecticide, which was a big plus. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-hosted stay

Malawithe mattress and pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable. this is definitely not where the owner of a lodge should look to save money. my back is still very sore. and the chair at the work table was completely inappropriate. it was so high my legs were swinging off the floor and i certainly could not work there on my laptop for more than a few minutes.

Breakfast was very good. If you are ordering lunch / dinner it was prepared by a qualified chef. It was very nice. The room was also good and spacious.

Polite, helpful and kind staff right from check-in. Morning breakfast excellent - very professionally done and exceeded my expectations. Heads up to the Chef who did an excellent job. Checking out was very easy and the staff explain everything clearly.

MalawiThe wifi wasn't working and the beddings the fleece blanket mostly had a bad odour smelled really bad, and they were no cleaning detergents in the room, what we saw on the site and the actual property was different but yeah not bad
The breakfast was amazing and the chef was just nice,very welcoming and humble. The room was okay comfortable I must say, but all in all it was cool. The place is nice and quite as well am going again next time and yeah the communication was really excellent one of the reasons I decided to book with them

South AfricaChecked in by someone who didnt understand English which was a communication barrier. The shower tiles are very slippery, high possibility of slipping. Toilet seat was broken and room had no ventilation. It says free wi-fi but the wi-fi is limited as it got depleted even though we didnt use it more than 3 hrs which was a huge problem for someone with no access to Mazawi networks and deadlines to meet. The setup of the downstairs rooms can be an issue as it becomes very noisy from people sitting in the lounge and all the smells of what people are cooking ends up in the room.
The rooms were clean and its in a good location.Nice basic breakfast. Friendly staff members. Appreciated the assistance with getting us airport transfers.Beds are very comfortable.

United KingdomThe location is out of town so nothing to do there but we didn't mind as it was just a place to stay before our flight the next day. Aircon isn't available but may be nice in hotter months.
Lovely staff who helped change money from USD to Kwacha for our taxi ($30) and booked the taxi which arrived at the right time. We only booked the apartment 1 hour before arriving which surprised the staff but they were very kind and a room was ready and waiting. They provided dinner ($8pp) and a full cooked breakfast was included in the price. WiFi worked well enough to check-in for flights and general usage. The apartment was huge and clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was great.

South AfricaRoom was dirty. Owner then over charged me but I paid it due to the condition of the place which was not nice at all. Nothing works including TV, Wifi, plug points, showers leaked all over the floor. I have videos. No aircon, spiders on bed, tea served at breakfast had been expired for a year. I have videos to prove every complaint. Oh the biggest safety reason was the door didn't close fully and this allowed insects in along with anyone who will need to decide to pay you a visit.
