The staff was really rude and indifferent, the hotel it’s kinda old, and you can hear how they call people through a mic early in the morning

The room was really big, had a small table and 2 small sofas, a big mirror and the room was pretty chill weather wise.

Reception and lobby was too dark when we arrived, it seems like an abandoned place, didn't match with the good looking outer and good looking spacious rooms.

Space, it is quite spacious and two king beds was great, it was very clean too.

The location is very dangerous apparently. My taxi driver told me not to go out after 8pm and to get taxis anywhere once it was dark. He seemed unnerved which was worrying.

The entrance in the hotel is unpleasant and not cleaned. 5 days, the garbage stayed at the entrance. The reception area is almost in the dark. That is separated by a secured glass wall from the customer's area, so that, when i had to pay by card, the receptionist asked my the PIN of my credit card as i could not introduce my hand between the glass and the counter. There is only one socket in the room. Even that one can be broken. But you can use the one in the bathroom. The windows have been dirty, and practically only 10% from the big windows are openable (a small niche at the bottom of the window). No A/C. The windows go in an inner yard made by beton, so the smell of cooking is going in the room. TV remote is practically "buried " in the wall, with extremely small buttons, so that only one person can manipulate it (but almost impossible if you have problems with the eyes). The walls are made maybe by carton, as you can hear the neighbours, even they hang off the phone (when they are talking between them is like you all are in the same room). The bathroom is big, with a bidet, which doesn't work and the ceiling, which is giving a very unpleasant and uncomfortable feeling of dirt, mold, fungus... Not the last bed and pillows are like they are made by cement, so 4 of us woke up as we have been sleeping on the bench in the parc.

The location was awkward as a 20-30 minute walk to the main area of Zocolo. I also didn't like the bullet proof screen with only 2 inches to pass by documents under. Not great first impression of Mexico.

The room is very big and the bed is comfort. The receptionist are friendly. The location is closed metro station and very safe area. The Police station is just next door. The price is quite cheap compare other Mexico City hotel.
