The bubble roof was a little cloudy which made star gazing a little harder, but we also had a storm and clouds so unavoidable really. Restaurant wasn’t open late and prices were a little expensive but it was nice!

The property itself was beautiful, the bubbles are gorgeous!! Nice and cool in the evening and kept as cool as possible during the day with the cover. Comfortable bed and good facilities, little refrigerator in the room and telescope! Location was great and the free electric buses to take you through the park were great.

The bubbles are amazing, great view to the sky and the beach facilities are so cute, I would have loved that the beach was not full of sea weed but everything else was perfect. The staff was really nice to us

To be honest, there wasn’t anything to fault. The only disappointing thing was the beach being covered by seaweed. No fault of the resort at all. This time of year the beaches experience a high influx of sargassum seaweed. This only made us enjoy our pod even more.

It was a wonderful seclusive experience. There are 4 pods on the property. We felt as though we were one with nature. Our first time glamping.

Staff available limited hours, but very quick to respond on whatsapp. There was also no hot water, even when we waited, in the shower. But luckily it wasn't cold water either, just slightly cooler which worked for a hot area. It's a bit removed from main parts of Tulum, but it was not an issue for us since we had a car. We didn't have time to order food or drinks, but seemed like staff was also limited here but we were also only around at off-peak hours.

We loved how quiet and quaint it was. The room was well equipped for what it is, and AC worked perfectly. The host was informative and we had a place to park our car. We only booked for one night and it was the perfect place to start our trip. Personally, I don't think I could see myself here for more than two nights, but it was very comfortable and hospitable. Hardly any critters too. We walked a couple places down to a Thai restaurant at Mezzaine and enjoyed the food and view there! We had to pay an entrance fee to the national park since this is where Atral is, but didn't have time to explore. Felt safe the entire time.

You have to pay 400 peso per person to enter the park per DAY!, one should add it to the room’s price, plastic is forbidden on this location, security may ask you to trash your plastic

Can recommend for 1-2 nights but not longer. Both my wife and I had trouble sleeping due to the moonlight in the room. The service is a bit slow at the reception and the restaurant. The staff tries to be helpful, but they are limited in capacity. The restaurant closes at 6 pm, so you are forced to go out for dinner. This was ok, as there are 2-3 restaurants within walking distance.

Very interesting concept of living in a bubble. It was quite romantic living in a bubble. The location is right by the beaach and very close to the tulum ruins as well. It was really nice walking inside the national park in the evening and at night.

It’s indeed WOW designed hotel and you really have to try this experience, perfect for 1-2 nights since for more it will be a bit not nice to hear the sound of the air which makes the bubble itself otherwise it’s amazing and good quality. As well keep in mind that you will have to pay additionally for the entrance to the national park

Wifi was good when it worked. However the day I thought I was going to work remotely and do some calls, it did not work.

Such a cool place to stay! Never stayed in a bubble before and it was so cool and fun. And the place was so clean and comfortable for being essentially a bubble room. The bathroom was surprisingly a real bathroom! Loved this place!

the only reason I am giving this a 9 and not a 10 is because of a surprise fee of 415 pesos each per day to enter the park. This was not mentioned before booking online, only received this information in a message after we booked and were not able to cancel anymore. we stayed one night, and this was an additional 50% of the cost that we did not expect

Amazing experience!! the sky bubble is super comfortable and it s a unique location and set up! we had enough privacy and enjoyed the facilities!! we were also able to check in an hour early and enjoy the beach club

In comparison to selina/mia, the food was way better taste-wise... and I felt i got more value here. Considering this is mexico, it was shocking to pay the same thing for meals and more for taxi than in ohio where I live. All in all, the say was nice but not for the budget traveler.....

I liked how private everything was. I was looking for a quiet vacation that was beautiful and I got exactly that here! I loved that there were snacks for 35 pesos and beer for 50 pesos in the fridge... the beach club was available till 6pm. For dinner i walked a little. Unlike the hotel Zone, even though it was on the beach, the opposite roads here are tarred so it is not super Dusty like the hotel zone...It is just dark at night. The nice thing is that the hotel actually provides a flashlight in case you decide to take a walk. In the room, there was a telescope to look at the stars which is awesome. It was wonderful all in all, I would say it was exactly what I was looking for. I can comfortably say that I had so much more peace of mind here than in the Hotel zone. I was not hassled about the minimum spend at the beach clubs and very interestingly because I felt more free, i found myself spending more and enjoying it more! The minimum spend at the hotel zone is $75 so it's a commitment for a solo traveler! , the service was better here than on the hotel zone side as well in my experience. I really enjoyed my stay!

I think it’s not far from perfect but needs a few things - the AC due to the rain was dripping water on our heads and pillows so I had to wipe it off in the middle of the night. The bubble lacks some very basic amenities which make a difference: no water kettle or coffee maker, no hair dryer and lamps kept losing battery so we had to charge them continuously in the front room - but one lamp wouldn’t even last us a night. Finally, some comments said it but there is barely any hot water - if you want to catch some, I recommend showering between 4-6 pm.

As described, it’s quite an experience being in a bubble. You wake up with birds and sunlight and it’s something we had never felt before. Even the rain of the two first nights was interesting as it felt you were literally sleeping under the rain. The bubble is functional, clean and very close to the most beautiful beach in Tulum. Their restaurant was good and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Astral Tulum hotel. The hotel room was unique and wonderful with its transparent roof, allowing us to gaze at the stars from the comfort of our bed. The location is fantastic, just a minute away from the ocean, and the beach was pleasantly uncrowded. The staff was incredibly supportive throughout our stay. Armando, in particular, was a gem, offering us invaluable tips on exploring the area and suggesting great tours. When we encountered an issue with our rental car, he went above and beyond, providing helpful advice and ensuring the problem was quickly resolved. One small suggestion would be to have an opportunity to enjoy a morning coffee in the room or somewhere on the hotel grounds, which would add an extra touch of convenience. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here for an unforgettable experience.

    - I don't know if it was because we were there off-season (december), but the restaurant of the hotel was only open during noon time to serve drinks. Thats why you couldn't get breakfast, lunch or dinner there. For breakfast there was only one reastaurant at the beach front (breakfast was delicoius the, btw), for dinner two restaurants (1x thai, 1x japanese) - the reception and the beach chairs were available from 12 am til 7 pm. - only a small thing, but the bubble rooms are made of inflatable rubber, so that they're not as transparent as it looks on the pictures. That means that you could see the night sky and the stars as clear as you would expect. - be aware that the toilet that is in your bubble has no door or curtain.

    - Amazing location in the national park and right at the beach. The breathtaking beach front feels like paradise. - Very cozy and peaceful little hotel ground. You feel like on a lonely island (in a good way). - Also very friendly and reliable staff who were ready to help with any questions and needs. They were also always available via whatapp to help with any issues before our arrival. Great service. - great located to visit the tulum ruins. 25 min by feet through the beautiful national park, or 10-15 minutes by bike, which you can lend at the hotel for 200 pesos per 24 hours.
