Location is quite a walk from the centro, but not a big problem for me. It’s a bit surprising that all payments there (including day tours) have to be in cash. If card payment is allowed, that would be perfect :)

Beautiful hostel with lovely lounge and peaceful green areas. Amazing breakfast with hot dishes vary by days, made by friendly staff. Indeed the best breakfasts I have ever had in hostels so far (and I have been staying in a lots of hostels) They have lots of activities everyday too

You can only pay in cash. The location is slightly 'far' from the city centre. It's located in a local neighborhood wether then the 'touristic' cultural city center.

This hostel has a nice relax vibe. You can attent yoga classes, play guitar, play table football or just relax in their garden. You have the option to rent bikes or book tour with them. We had a private badroom that had just enough space. Breakfast is good too

I stayed in a private room on the second floor, and I wish that there was a sheer curtain in addition to the heavy blackout curtain. The glass doors are the biggest source of natural light and fresh air, so it would have been nice to have privacy but also have light/ breeze.

The staff are super helpful and the hostel has a great community feeling. Breakfast was tasty and the hostel was very clean. I liked the yoga mats they provided and did yoga every morning on their rooftop. It felt like I was returning to a calm sanctuary after exploring the city. I'm an early bird, so I appreciated that the hostel was pretty quiet at night and everyone was very respectful.

There are t many shared activities if that’s what you’re looking for. The warm water pressure in one of the showers was really bad.

The beds are great with lots of privacy and space to store things People are lovely and the breakfast includes Mexican food if you want.

The property was very clean and the location is just a 10 min walk from the city and some bus stops. The staff was really friendly and helpful. It is a great hostel to socialize but still quiet at night. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

They provide free breakfast which is nice. But you can't cook during breakfast time. The staff are super nice and helpful. Help to book tours and taxis and provide a lot of travel and restaurant recommendations. There is yoga class , walking tour and wrestling and cooking dinner activities. I like the wrestling night with the group it's a super fun night. I stayed in different rooms during my stay. The 4 beds female dorm which is better in ventilation. The twin bed room is stuff and I can't change the direction of the fan. So have you switch it off at night and open the door for ventilation. The 10 bed dorm is super hot until midnight and big fans keep it on all day n night bc and quite noice. The cube bed is comfortable and provides a little fan. There is a man and woman shower separately that I like.

Azul Cielo became my favorite hostel in Mexico! It's a very nice and cosy hostel. Very social - lots of activities going on everyday. And the oaxacan dinner was the best of them all! Friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet location. I didn't feel unsafe there even walking in the dark. I recommend this hostel to everyone! And I hope to come back there someday too

The rooftop could have more chairs and be updated

Clean, bright and colourful. We were in a private room which was a relief as people said the dorms were loud. Staff were very friendly and so great to have breakfast included. Loved the bar and rooftop too

The showers takes a bit to get warm, so you need to wait a bit (not problem for the waiting, rather for the water consumption)

The breakfast is pretty small.

The decor and the atmosphere is impeccable. Seems to attract curious and mature travellers. There was always a good atmosphere at breakfast with people meeting and making plans. I paid for a private room, it was pretty cheap, and was lovely.
