The only thing I didn’t liked is that our bathroom was separate from bedroom. However seems like other room had their bathroom in same room as the bed room.Besides that I recommend you to stay in here!

My partner and I really liked our staying at the BKL hotel! Their breakfast had traditional Oaxaca bread and chocolate so it made it very special for us. The staff was very nice to us too. We were able to check in early even though we arrived early. The room was very aesthetic. Overall the hotel made our staying in Oaxaca special :)

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was able to use their phone to call a Mexican number and they provided me with water while working. Lugage can also be easily stored after check out.

The room had doors, but no windows, so to let air in at night meant leaving the door open.

The location is very good. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooftop yoga/workout area was a real bonus.

Their coffee bar/food set up was not open during my stay, i put a do not disturb sign on my door and housekeeping still entered and moved my things around, i requested that a taxi be scheduled for the morning to take me to the airport and there was not one. I had to wake someone up to even get the front door unlocked to get out and a taxi called, making me late. Staff does not speak english.

The advertisement online doesn’t show the room that is actually the size of a closet! The sink is the size of a shoe box. Nowhere to hang at least ONE ITEM! I tried to upgrade but was not able because booking.com would not allow it. I cannot believe that you are comfortable with packing this room and locking it in not allowing an upgrade. I am absolutely disgusted with this experience. NEVER AGAIN!

The lighting in the room was strange and far too cool. There was a rather precarious spiral staircase and a really poorly designed bathroom that had too many steps and places to trip. There was no cell reception in the rooms and the WiFi was terrible. We saw a centipede in the room the first night and the toilet was occasionally inconsistent in its ability to flush.

Staff were friendly, fantastic location close to everything you need in town. It's in a friendly, safe neighbourhood and the room was quiet at night and mostly clean.

I knew my bathroom wasn't attached, but I didn't know it was outside sink. And also it was coner. It was next to stairs for upstairs. It was all outside. Shower and toilet were together with the lock. It seemed a little bit scary for me.

Room was just big enough to fit a queen size bed. One towel had a hole in it. Breakfast not much more than thinly sliced fruit. No credit cards accepted, but had a strange internet payment system. No service, only focused on getting money from guests.

The only good thing about this place is the location. It is heavily overpriced and nothing really works. You cant flush most of the toilets, soap and paper are not refiled even when asked for and the breakfast consits of a small amount of fruit that is not fresh.

would say the one big negative for me was the bathroom. it was cramped, no place to put even your toothbrush on the sink and there was clearly some mold starting to lift the paint. there was no door on the shower so the water would splash everywhere so it was hard to keep the bathroom clean and dry in between housekeeping.

the best thing about this property is the location! fantastic spot central to everything in historic Oaxaca. I was able to walk to everything. the breakfast is adequate and fresh. overall the stay was ok in terms of comfort. The mattress was a bit on the stiff side bit still comfortable. I

After two nights we had to change the room and the second room was just on the courtyard where a cafe operates so it was quite noisy in the morning and it the night we kept being awake by the bell. Rooms are poorly furnished with no hooks, towel racks in the bathrooms. Poor breakfast (just plate of fruit). Overall there are much better places in Oaxaca for this price

The hotel customer service, hotel owner messaging directly through Whatsapp at midnight. Zero accountability, by the fact that the room was label as "twin room with PRIVATE external bathroom" but the bathroom was shared with other rooms/guest and even hotel staff. When asked about this the hotel staff said "it is a private bathroom as the door has a lock on it". Hotel denied request to allow us to change hotels after the 1st night, refused to compensate for misleading advertising of this room, and refusing to change the description/label of this room so future guest do not get tricked like we did. I am adding pictures of the booking.com site where it shows this hotel's rooms descriptions are confusing and not clear when it comes to their facilities.

The cleaning lady, Lupe was the only good thing about this experience.
