Reviews of La Diosa Kali Beach Front Hotel 3 stars

Very friendly lady at the reception, nice room with the best bed ever! We read a lot of complaints about the noise from the club, but it is not THAT bad, just put in some earplugs and you sleep like a baby (they offer ear plugs at the reception). Breakfast is also very decent, big portions.

The electricity failed, so you could not use the TV or even go to the restroom since there was no light. At night, they provided a flashlight, but it was not enough for 4 people since if someone used it for the restroom, the room was in darkness. The staff was helpful is trying to charge the cell phones but that only lasted until 10pm. The A/C did work for some reason.

It's very close to the beach, the Holbox letters and the main shops and restaurants.

It's across the street from the beach, rooms set off from the street and separated by a courtyard with loungers , and tables and a hammock. It's also very convenient/short walking distance to countless restaurants, bars, and the night food stall market. Taxis (golf carts) are pretty easily available as well.

Housekeeping hours were very limited (8a-11a) which for us was inconvenient, so we went the whole week without housekeeping. Not the biggest deal, but it would have been nice to have a refresh halfway through. A small refrigerator in the room would have also been helpful.

The surroundings were beautiful and clean, practically right on the beach, and the receptionist was kind.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. We didn’t get any sleep either night because there is a bar right next to the hotel where there was a disco every night with extremely loud music and heavy bass. The first night, they played until 5:48 AM, and the second night until 7:06 AM. When we complained, we were told that nothing could be done about it. They said they had been terrorized like this for eight years and that the bar had even bribed the police. Apparently, it’s some kind of drug den, and everyone is afraid of them. Because of this experience, we will not return to this hotel. Otherwise, the hotel itself is nice and clean, and the staff is friendly and smiling.

Everything was very good.

Loud loud blaring music from approx 11-2am. It was torture. I felt bad for staff which were trying to do their best to provide a good stay.

We liked everything! The staff is so nice and the atmosphere at the hotel is relaxing and like home. The location is great. The breakfast is very good. Helga the cat. Sunbeds. Special thanks to Fer at the restaurant. You and your personality are awesome. ❤️

The room could have more place to hang your clothes and put your stuff on. But understandable because the rooms are not so big. But it did not matter because everything else was so good. ❤️

worst thing was extreme loud noise until 4 am from next door bar! Shaking the room. When complained to bar and hotel, nothing could be done. DISTRITO 1 Bar is ear deafening !!!

Hotel was next to the beach, so easy to walk everywhere. Room was spacious and decorated efficiently. The shower was also good. The staff was helpful and responsive.

Good location - close to downtown and beach. Good breakfast. Decent rooms for couples. Breakfast menu nice. Staff helpful and kind.

Rooms while passable are barebones. The price is very high - but I guess the whole island is very expensive. Unfortunately there are several night clubs right next to the place that have music every day until 3-4am. Also, often no hot water.

The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is amazing, best we had in Mexico so far. The Hotel is near the center, close to all the restaurants, bars and the beach is on the other side of the street. Perfect.

There is a dance bar next to the Hotel. They play extremely loud music up to 2-3am.

It was a lovely stay. Everything was pleasant. Great location, right in the centre in front of the beach. Easy access to everything. Very clean and comfortable bed.
