Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MexicoI got confused with the other hotel's different location same name, nevertheless we loved the place. It was the best mistake I had made on vacation time.
It was private and safe, the swimming pool refreshing and beautiful.

United StatesThe kitchen was was useable but unfortunately not very clean - could definitely do with a deep clean and also disposing of food from the fridge after guests have gone.
Lovely little oasis in Mazunte! We booked in for 3 nights and ended up staying for a week. Located a 10 minute walk from the main street, which was easy enough.. We loved the pool area, especially on days where it was too hot to go to the beach, and it was cleaned regularly, which we appreciated. The room was spacious and also cleaned every day, with fresh sheets and towels every two days, which was such a nice touch. Room also had a lovely balcony for coffee or reading in the morning. Alberto the host was very responsive and helpful. Would stay again.

United StatesI cannot think of one thing that could have been better. The entire property has been thoughtfully and carefully planned for beauty and comfort.
There is an outdoor state-of-the art communal kitchen with a huge professional range and refrigerator. Many guests have left various spices and ingredients which are available. Getting together with other guests, all cooking their individual meals is so much fun and everybody is so kind and friendly. The shared kitchen is a HUGE plus. There is also free, filtered water for you to use which is environmentally helpful, not to mention the convenience and cost-saving.

CanadaThe is very little air circulation in the room. The fans are a must, but it is still very hot, no change of air.
Beautiful little oasis a bit set back from the action. The pool is perfectly refreshing and the hamac for each room is super nice. The kitchen facilities are great.

FranceIt's not that we didn't like something as all was great for us. But be aware that in the upstairs rooms you can hear your neighbour if they're loud as the walls are thin.
Alberto is super friendly, chilled & very helpful if you need any help. The rooms are well decorated & clean. The pool & the surroundings in the hotel make for a nice atmosphere. Away from the road but well positioned & easy walking distance to everything.

GermanyI extended my initial stay for 5 more nights because I enjoyed it so much. The common area is nice to get to know new people or you can just rest at the pool. The village is very chilled except for the roosters in the morning. :) Bring some earplugs and you will have the time of your life. The hammocks at or in every room is a huge plus as well. In the village are nice cafés and restaurants and the beach is very close. Alberto and his wife are the best! They care about their guests, the property and the well being of everyone. Hugs to them!

Germany✨Awesome service! Alberto is the best! He helps you out with literally everything and makes sure you have the best time! ✨The place is beautiful and provides everything you need! ✨Very nice outside kitchen and pool area ✨ The rooms are beautiful and the beds really uncomfortable ✨On the map Bandita seems a bit out of town but its not! Its literally just a 7-10Min walk to the main road, we found it nice to have a getaway from everything

GermanyThe walls between the rooms are super thin and you can hear louder conversations. I talked to the guests next door about it and we were all happy to know about it. It then was no problem because everyone was aware of it and respected the other. Since the kitchen is open to everyone, some guest leave their food in the fridge and forget to throw it away, which is not so nice.
The Hotel is located a little bit out of the centre (which is a 10 min walk) but therefore it is quiet. The owner Albert is giving his best to make your stay unique. He even gave me a lift to my bus, what I appreciated a lot! The beds are super comfortable and I slept like a baby. I always felt safe.

United StatesI quite liked my room: it was gorgeous, had an en-suite bathroom and patio with a lovely view, and was both comfortable and clean. The pool could not be beat - the riad-like pool/garden/common area space had a full kitchen with all needed amenities, it was the perfect place for a private lounge with my journal and a mezcal. The fantastic hotel staff was friendly and helpful - I especially appreciate el don Alberto's help with arranging ground transportation, as well as his arrangement for a wonderful on-site massage at a great rate. I personally preferred the location of Bendita Luna Hotel (within a neighborhood, 15 minutes by foot to the beach), which I feel was valuable because it allowed me greater ability as an international tourist to engage authentically with the local community than I feel would have been possible if I had chosen to stay at a hotel located directly on the beach. In addition to beach proximity with privacy, Bendita Luna was close to Punta Cometa and to excellent restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, and the like. My only comment for visitors who may not have visited Mexico previously is that many places like Mazunte that are outside of urban centers are somewhat universally home to dogs and roosters who greet each early morning with enthusiasm! I would encourage anyone who is sensitive to noise to consider this and to plan accordingly by packing some earbuds. With this said, I had a very tranquil stay and hope to visit again soon!

CanadaThe local animals, dogs and roosters did keep us up at times, but it is part of living in a smaller community.
This is a beautiful place, carefully designed and well built. The kitchen area allows for conviviality, while the pool is cleaned regularly and the pool area is comfortable with great shaded areas when necessary. The clientele was mostly younger and international. The host was very accommodating, informative and friendly. We were in the larger room and it was like a haven for us. We have been travelling by car in Mexico for three months and this was a highlight for us.

United KingdomAll great.
The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool was nice and clean, and big enough to swim in. The room was a really generous size and even came with a hammock. Alberto the owner was amazing and always super happy to help. He recommended and arranged for us the boat ride with other guests, and it was really worth the early start.

DenmarkThe only thing is the roasters who make a lots of noice, but that’s the whole area, so nothing to do about it other than good earplugs ☺️

CanadaThe walk back to the hotel at night might be uncomfortable for some people (well it's dark, and there are some spots with poor lighting). However, we liked that the hotel isn't located on the main busy street.
We enjoyed every second of our stay! The rooms were beautifully decorated and sparklingly clean, and the pool area was so nice for swimming and relaxing. Both the AC and ceiling fan in the bedroom worked well. The hosts, Alberto and his wife, were truly amazing and made sure we felt right at home. They also helped with some local recommendations and booked us a taxi to the airport. There are a few tienditas close by that are open till 9pm-ish, and also a good comedor El Economico to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner (open till 10pm).
