The bed was hard, as others have mentioned, but the sheets nice. Breakfast was typical Mexican. Their provision of sausage or bacon was boiled hot dogs.

The room, though quite small, was very accommodating. I had a corner room facing the city and with a side view of the water & malecon, especially from the small balcony. I had booked my reservations quite a few months in advance, then noticed the price went down $20 US if someone booked just a few days before arrival. My rate could not be reduced because of the quarantee with no refund less than 3 days in advance. So I requested a high floor with a partial view of the ocean and to have a parking spot held for me in their protected back entry area. One of the rare hotels on the water that has protected parking. I was accommodated! The rooftop pool and bar area are really nice with a great view of the Malecon and water. Beautiful sunset view. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet is served in a nice ocean view location. They served a chicken and mushroom gravy that was great on a piece of whole wheat bread (no biscuits).

They left is without clean towels for 2 days in a row. The reception hardly answers the phone.

Great landmark hotel located in old town. Excellent location nice rooms well maintained. Remember ocean view rooms will be nosier do to the malecón below you.

Service - for two days our room wasn’t cleaned until we asked The breakfast is good, however service is average.- often cutlery missing and pressure to leave a tip The room is good, but you get the feeling the hotel is slowly being allowed to degrade: windows aren’t clean on the outside; shower heads are leaky. It could easily be a 4 star boutique hotel if the rooms were better taken care of. As it stands, a solid 3 stars

The hotel is rather unique Location is fantastic for the old city The rooftop pool and patio is an unexpected gem - an oasis for relaxing and watching the world go by. The views are superb.

Slow WiFi with connection issues depending on location in the room, bathroom door didn't lock.

Standard rooms are small, dirty windows!! Some construction repairs on our floor and paint smell was bad!!

unfortunately despite a great beach location the NOISE issue is real. the street front is trafficked by loud vehicles and loud music from late pm through the evening. we chose a room to face the ocean and you just have to accept the loud music or you will be unhappy. the rest of the hotel is lovely for a 3 star. rooftop pool is fabulous as are the margaritas!

This is our favorite hotel in Mazatlan, by far. Fantastic location next to old town. Amazing view over the ocean. Rooftop pool and lounge. 1940s art-deco-(ish) architecture vibe. It's the grand old dame of the embarcadero. Not flashy, but classic. Won't stay anywhere else if we come to Mazatlan again.

Very poor choice of breakfast for vegetarians/vegans; unable to check in until 3pm, then only one member of staff on reception, so long queues; need to wear a wristband.

As a vegetarian, breakfast was somewhat hit and miss And it was somewhat chaotic due to the lack of seating.

The location is excellent of rooftop. Pool is great. The staff are helpful and kind.

The room was a little dirty. And we did not have towels right away

Perfect spot away from the crazy nightlife but a nice walking distance from downtown. Wonderful rooftop pool with a spectacular view. Great breakfast!
