They charge me $400 pesos to service the cabin and give me fresh towels. I thought that would be included. I stay in other places in Mazamitla and never got charged for that

I reserved a cabin but when I arrived they told me I reserved an hotel room….. I had to pay an extra (about $50 usd) to get the cabin. The booking’s site shows pictures of a cabin and the hotel says they have different tarifs for the cabins and the hotel rooms. Very confusing and the pictures during booking procees, shows cabin images all the time.

Staff is not professional. No wifi in cabin except for a standard tv. They asked for a security deposit, which is a sneaky way of retaining your money, I disagree with that.

Water from shower floods bathroom. No Wi-Fi in spite of cable TV. Rooms need at lease a pot to heat water. Coffee machine is only good for coffee.

Stains on the bedding in general. The room felt too cold even though I know we visited in winter there was not heating source at all. There was no ventilation in the bathroom.

The location was really nice with beautiful views. Friendly staff. Bathroom was nice and modern. the room was spacious and had a nice balcony.

The phone was making irritating noises and had to disconnect the phone line to make it stop. Jacuzzi was not big enough for two adults.

Walking distance to the town center, accessible distance to shops and parking. The room has a coffee machine and amenities in shower room. Comfortable bed next to the fireplace. The activities within the private premises are fun and entertaining.

No heater in the cabin and our mini bar was not stocked. Door to covered patio was a challenge to open.

Beautiful, clean and luxurious property and cabin. Toiletries smelled good. Loved the little hot tub and the covered patio. We moved to Bosque Escondido from another cabin-type establishment, our only regret was not choosing this one in the first place.

Nothing not to like about the property, but when I was booking my stay it didn’t give me options other than the hotel and there are cabins within the facility…

It’s beautiful and in walking distance from the center. Its spacious and well designed.

The pictures of the rooms were all mixed, so I wasn't completely sure of what I was booking when I did other than the description of the room. The chimney doesn't have the proper venting so when I started it I had to open the window and the door to let the smoke out, and once lit, it would die quickly cause of poor ventilation. The wood we were given by the hotel was humid so I had to get my own as it would not start. The room had no minibar so I had to purchase a cooler to keep our wine ready to enjoy it.

Very nice place. Everyone was very respectful and kind. Even though there was a problem with our room at check-in, right after check-in time they switched us to another cabin. We encountered issues with the Jacuzzi, they quickly fixed it so we could enjoy it.

It was odd. They put us in the most remote room despite the hotel being virtually empty. Getting to our room involved three flights of stairs and a long hallway.

Starting on the reception, even if you arrived few mins before check in you are called on exact time, together with all the other gest, so get the room became chaotic . The "room" definitely needs maintenance, it was superficially clean but you can tell that floors need a good scrub, same for the bath and shower. Ceiling had spiderwebs and other part soot from the fireplace. Also, the fan extractor for humidity wasn't working.

The place is very well located, and surrounding very pretty and calm. You can walk around common areas and enjoy of the nature and some activities that property offers. Room have a fireplace that is useful in case it is chill.

Very bad stay, we changed rooms twice because of water leakage. In our third room we had no hot water and had to ask to be turned on, not once or twice, three times. Waited for almost 2 hours to take a shower when all we wanted to do after a long day was rest. Finally they had electricity problemas and while taking a shower the electricity went out and came back until de next day. Very bad experience, the administration never apologized for any of these problems.

The reception staff were very disorganised and didn’t care about the customers. In particular we were shown to the wrong cabin and then one of the rooms which hadn’t been cleaned. When we went to bed in the cabin the sheets were stained and there was no wood provided for the fireplace (it was very cold). Also there was no hot water in the hotel room until fixed by the maintenance staff.
