Reviews of Botånica Tulum

Everything was wonderful. This is a beautiful place with really tastefully done interior and a very calming ambiance. It's located on backstreet from the mainroad and was very quiet during the evenings, so sleep was no issue. Everything was clean and very very comfortable. Fernando, the host, went above and beyond to help me with sorting out transportation to the airport and within Tulum. Other staff were also super attentive and kind. Breakfast was amazing with great coffee and a variety of options. I had several activities planned that required my leaving early and they were able to accommodate earlier breakfasts as well. Very happy I chose to stay here--I can only recommend!

Absolutely nothing.

Breakfast was divine. Location was perfect. A beautiful place with facilities like a kitchen, pool, bar. The staff were amazing.

Perhaps adding in mosquito nets in the rooms.

Amazing energy and such a thoughtfully well crafted space that feels connected to the nature. The included breakfast and bikes are very nice and everything is clean. The best part is the staff who are all so kind and will help with anything you need.

The hotel is beautiful with an amazing pool, bar, community kitchen and lounging areas. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

The bed was firmer than I like but that is the only thing I would have changed.

The pool is amazing, really beautiful backdrop. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel as a whole is really cool.

The doors to the rooms didn’t close entirely but it was very quiet. It just let in a little light but we slept with masks on so it wasn’t an issue.

Beautiful boutique hotel/hostel in the centre of Tulum. Great if you are looking for more laid-back, bohemian, artsy vibes. We took the twin room and it was very cozy and also had working air conditioning and fan. The vibe in the general area is great, very relaxed with an amazing bar and pool. The personnel was very generous and kind and helped us in every way. The breakfast was included in the price but absolutely amazing. The premise also has bicycles you can use for free.

The bikes were all with soft tires, tried to solve it myself but was not always possible. I understand that it comes from the heat but it was a bit harder to go around

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Clean, spacious, comfortable, very well designed. Amazing pool/garden/common areas. Very nice staff. Just keep in mind that, in the double rooms with private bathroom, there is no door separating the toilet/shower from the rest of the room (at least that was the case in our room).

The breakfast was great, proper coffee and great food options. Sadly can be difficult to find a really good breakfast in Mexico but this was great Free bicycles are also a really nice touch

The hotel has a very relaxed, young-people atmosphere. The vintage decor is very beautiful. The AC was working very well, the water pressure and temperature great, the bed comfortable. The drinks and breakfast were amazing :) The stuff were very helpful and kind, I was contacted via WhatsApp the day before the stay to inform us of the exact location of the hotel etc.

The room didn't have curtains on the door made of blurred glass, so we were woken up from 5am with the light... also, the AC is directly in front of the bed, so if you're not American you will probably struggle to find the perfect temperature without getting sick with AC blowing directly on your face while you sleep hahaha But these are only minor comments, I would still come back to this hotel :)

The atmosphere and staff attitude to the guests are the best. It's not a place to stay only, it's a place to feel the vibe, especially during the dark.

Botanica Tulum was just simply a wonderful experience. I wish I could have stayed there longer. The design, atmosphere, staff and the people there made my stay great. I normally tend to leave hostel during the day but at Botanica I loved just chilling in the hostel.

Beds where quit uncomfortable and it was not possible to block the light from the glass door, so sleeping conditions where not perfect.
