Basic rooms but had everything you need. Clean with good mattress, hot shower, sky tv and free WiFi throughout. On a secluded part of the beach and very peaceful. Staff were amazing. Love this place.

Based on the pics the property gave the impression that it had a beach. However, there were only rocks. That was very disappointing. Tv didn’t work

The 200 meter walk to the long 4 kilomer beautiful sandy beach was along the back road because the beach in front of the unit was rocky and difficult to walk around the point. The small beach in front of the unit was beautiful but you have to walk over the rocks to the sandy part where you could swim. The town is quite small but has everything you need but no banks and many businesses want cash only. Plan on your banking before hand to have sufficient cash.

Great pool with beach view. Chester, the resident pooch is a cool dude. Kitchen only open for breakfast but several eating options down the road within walking distance. Basic and comfortable room. We were only passing through and it did the trick for a night.

The were some signs that a more thorough cleaning of the room is needed. The beach is a little rough, possibly not apt for kids.

The hotel is cute, well decorated. The staff and owner very nice. Very helpful and accommodating. The overall facility is clean. It appears that continued improvements are in progress. Pool is nice.

ok. lots. We didn't get the room we booked because "it is not working and is being repaired" but no compensation for the inferior room assignment. The room we were put into should've not been assigned either. Only 1 very thin top sheet on the bed; no bed lights worked and the switches were so corroded they were unplugged from the wall. There was no where you could look that was not damaged in some way. The 2 housekeeper women worked constantly trying to make the best of what is there. The pool needs to be renovated and the peeling paint scraped off. I've never stayed anywhere like this before but no options. It is rather telling that only one other room was occupied while we were there.

This was the only hotel I could find with a room available to break up the long drive between Zihuatanejo and Manzanilla. I was charmed by the name, i guess. I think once the new owner restores the hotel to its former glory it may once again live up to its Bliss name. The rooms are huge suites with a pool beside the ocean. The breakfasts prepared by the tireless housekeepers were among the best we had in Mexico. Worth stopping there just for that.

Never got any response - Pretty expensive for what you get: I had a rather loud room next to the kitchen/common area (loud in the morning), no meals included, basic room, TV did not work, not always warm water, there is basically no beach and only small rocks in front of the hotel, the hotel is rather far away from everything in town.

Not an issue for me, but it is a 10 minute walk from the hotel before you reach any places to eat. Also, the food is great at the hotel, but a little expensive for the portion size.

The owners & staff of Brisa Bliss welcomed us warmly & provided a friendly & professional atmosphere. Bob & Margarita taught us so much about the local area & coastal Michoacán in an enjoyable setting. The conversations made our visit feel like going home to family. Wow! Our room, although minimal in some ways, had everything we needed for 2 nights. It was clean, and staff offered to clean after our first night of a 2-night stay. We even had a chance to watch Kansas City take home the win in the USA Superbowl. Wow! The pool was busy with a big family, so we opted not to use the pool in order for the family to have more of a private reunion. That was our choice. Instead, we chose long walks along what-felt-like a private beach. We took our time on the beach & waited for the sun to slip completely beyond the Pacific horizon. And, just as Margarita advised us, the sunset amazed us!! Wow! We chose to eat our meals @ Brisa Bliss. Excellent homestyle cooking hit the spot for us. Wow! A large part of the community of San Juan de Alima was within walking distance & filled with whatever one might need for a beach stay. Wow! The reasonable prices made this an even better worthwhile stay. Wow! When we think of returning to coastal Michoacán, we'll think of Brisa Bliss, Margarita & Bob, the kind & friendly staff, the great conversations, good food, the beach, & the exquisite sunsets. Yes, we will stay here again if we have the opportunity to be in the area. And, did we say, "Wow!"? Wow! Thanks for everything, Brisa Bliss folks! A stay with y'all was just what we needed.
