Wonderful stay at Cabo Blanco! We have come back to this hotel for many years, and it is always a great experience! The staff is friendly and very helpful and the facilities and rooms are very clean! We love the pool and they continue to maintain it well. It is big enough to swim and get some good exercise. It is nice to have a restaurant onsite, with good food. They have music events at the poolside, and they are adding more dinner music events. This year we had a fabulous dinner, while listening to an excellent pianist. It’s perfect for a cozier or romantic meal. The location is great…close enough to town to walk; and yet, provides a comfortable family atmosphere for your stay. We always feel like we are coming back home, after exploring the town. They can also bring a taxi or you can use the water taxi. They are on the canal..so the water taxi is a fun method of transportation, to or from town. (A quick, scenic 10 min ride). We often walk into town…then water taxi back, in the evening. They have tennis/Pickleball courts; and there is an active Pickleball club that plays there.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were kept very clean. The pool area was very nice. It is an older hotel, so I think would benefit from some updating and repairs.

Nice grounds but no where to sit except the pool area. The decor is very dated. The water from the fixtures in the room had a strange smell, like iron.?? The breakfast buffet on Sunday was very limited in choice.

The pool was nice. Beds and linens were comfortable. Location was okay, 10 minute walk to restaurants and beach.

Wifi was sketchy. Also, there was slash burning nearby that made some evenings smoky. That was beyond their control but was an issue.

What I first thought was a drawback became a big plus. It was a little bit from the beach and downtown. 5-10 minute walk. That ended up being a great getaway from hubub.

Would have liked a room by the pool but I do understand that some rooms are being renovated.

The staff was amazing! Especially, Edwardo! He went over and above for us. Also, really enjoyed the Monday afternoon music by the pool!

The hotel is a little dated but still nice. The staff was friendly, but at times a little disorganized. The pool is nice, but needs to be refinished. They have brand new pickleball courts which are great.

There needs to be more hangers on the walls for towels, wet bathing suits, etc. the next rooms aircon units are on your deck, and they are loud! ( this was in the rear building) the walls conduct sound, so if the room next to you has the tv on, or is playing music , it is very loud. You can literally hear every word your neighbour says. Bring earplugs! Also,the pickle ball courts are busy and the rooms by the pools will hear it. If your noise sensitive, bring some form of noise cancelling and you will be perfectly happy!! If your curtains won’t open and close without brute force, get up on a chair and grease the track with Vaseline, we did, and voila!!!!

The grounds are beautiful. The pool is the best in town, and never crowded. Also, chlorine usually gives me the itch, but not here. Had it to ourselves, a lot! The beds and pillows were great! Much better than most hotels, even in Canada. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Hair dryers in the room and hand held shower heads would have been great but otherwise zero complaints!

A little way out of the hub bub. If you wanted to go up town you could always hail a cab or walk
