United StatesTotally out of their control. The roads in the city are kidney busters. Old cobble stones with late depressions in the road. Small streets too not made for cross traffic in an SUV. Holiday weekend and the neighbors party rather loud. It stops though.
The property was great! Just beautiful. The surrounding mountains just enhanced it. The staff was very good. Excellent breakfast. Be sure to walk around into their buildings to see the art work.

United StatesThis is my second time visiting the hotel and Tepoztlan. I have stayed in regular rooms and suites. The hotel is magnificent especially for its comfort, spacious rooms and its variety of food on its menu. A perfect place for those of us who like to live with nature and get away from the noise of the city. I hope to return very soon and stay at this hotel again.

United KingdomThere seemed to be a completely different experience for guests arrivals at the weekend which we didn't see until our last day, we felt that as the only guests there Monday to Friday that it was a completely different hotel when weekend guests arrived. Rooms are outdated, bathroom got very damp for a long time after showering - needs an extractor. Big rugs in the room just felt really grubby - can't imagine they get washed much. Horrible white lighting in rooms. Won't come back to this hotel nor do we recommend it

NetherlandsI was traveling from The Netherlands to Mexico and wanted to enjoy some days in Tepoz. We arrived to casa bugambilias on Wednesday. First unpleasant surprise, they wanted to charged me almost 30% from my rate in booking. I ask the receptionist to please double check as this is not what i agreed on, we spent more than 30’ waiting for her to check via WhatsApp with somebody about this. After this, she confirmed that my initial booking was ok. Second unpleasant detail, pool was very cold, no services to have a snack, dinner as the kitchen was close, Thursday they turned on the heat on the swimming pool… but still very cold to use it. still no kitchen open… if you want to buy or drink something in the hotel (even they don’t offer the service) you need to pay a fee for it “descorche” we asked the prices of it, and the staff didn’t know. so they don’t offer the service but they charge you if you want to bring something to eat of drink at the hotel. Friday the temperature of the swimming pool was finally ok… overall, from Wed-Friday we didn’t get 100% the services you are supposed to get from a hotel of this price… perhaps for a weekend Sat-Sun you can get an ok-ish experience. we are definitely not coming back to this hotel. it was supposed to be a nice short holidays with my family, which we had, but not because of this hotel. look at hotels around like the buena vibra… we are going there next time.
