The sink was very stylish. Maybe too stylish, I could not figure out how to stopper it. It was not possible to fill the sink with water.

Located only a few blocks from the bus terminal, the taxi was only 70 pesos. Walked down a few blocks for dinner. The staff was helpful and friendly. Instant hot water. Beautiful hotel.

Beds were not as comfy as I would have hoped and bathroom was a little small. Still great for value. I would stay again.

Went for Día De Los Muertos and is Walking distance of 18 minutes or less walking to food, attractions, and town center (Zocalo). Would definitely recommend. Staff is amazing and worth it for the price.

You can hear traffic noise in the morning, but other than that you really enjoy your stay at Casa Cantera.

The staff was some of the nicest people I've ever met. I went there for a wedding and they (Luz and Miri) helped me out with unexpected difficulties with such kindness. I recommend this hotel because it's comfortable, pretty, artistic, clean and has a great location. The restaurant is so nice and relaxing, I loved the rooftop and the food was excellent. It felt like being at home with a luxurious touch.

We stayed in an internal facing room (so no windows) but the privacy blind was see-through so people in the passage could see in, unless you closed the main curtain.

Very modern interior in an older building with a great location walkable to the centre. Friendly staff and rooftop chill out area with free tea and coffee. Free parking.

Echo, There were a couple of very noise guest that talked loud and the echo made it worse and climb the stairs like they were carrying heavy bags. beds could be a bit lit confortable. (bit squeaky)

The hotel has recently opened, and the owners have done a good job restoring the old building. There is room for improvement, but minor details. Rooms could be better ventilated, for instance, but in general, everything was fantastic!

The hotel is well located, within walking distance of the Zocalo, yet in a quiet area. It is close to some restaurants and good cafes (e.g. Cafe Terno is wonderful). Thanks, Claudia, Fernando, and Araceli, for being so kind and accommodating.

The reason for my poor review is because we had 3,000 pesos “disappear” from the stack of money we pulled out to pay our wedding planner. We were also never given access to the safe. There were no instructions for the keypad and the key itself was never provided to us either. The worst part was how the staff handled the situation as there was 0 accountability. The receptionist was rude and blamed us for not using the safe (which they didn’t give us access to to begin with). I had already pre paid and booked 4 rooms for a future date as well directly with the hotel and when I asked to cancel given this experience she gave me the run around with no assurances. I followed up by emailing to cancel with a full refund given that the reservation is still 8 months away and am waiting to hear back…

The hotel itself is nice, although the rooms are simple and small. The terrace is nice with a restaurant that opens until 1pm. There is a lounge space on the second floor. The hotel is quiet and a little bit of a walk for the main square.

The only window/door in the room looked out into the open corridor, which felt a little weird. Because of the set-up, I got woken up quite early by people in the corridor / cleaning the rooms.

A decent enough hotel with basic amenities. It's clean and the staff on reception were very nice. Very walkable to the coach station and a little further out from the centre (which is quite nice!). Stayed for a night and it was fine. Not the most comfortable for a longer stay, imo.
