Paula is the most amazing host in the world! The place feels just like your house and is on the Main Street, few minutes away from the beach and shops, restaurants and a gym. Highly recommended!

The place is great, the host is the kindest soul I have ever met. She made our stay super comfortable. The room had everything what we needed. There are two cats which are open to scratches, Nino (one of them) welcomed us every day with some massage, for free!

The alley accessing the property was slippery and muddy and hard to navigate at night with no lights- but that is out of control of the property owner.

Paula was very sweet and welcomed us warmly. The room was simple but had thoughtful touches that made it nicer. Also there are two very sweet cats on property who welcomed us every time we entered and exited.

The bed was a bit too narrow for a European couple (same size as in many other Mexican places)

Paula is a lovely and warm person and a friendly host. The room is basic and has a good vibe, many details are thought of: mosquito plug, bug spray, extra bin bag, incense, plates and glasses. We wanted to cut some fruit and Paula immediately brought us a sharp knife. Location is perfect: just off the main road of Mazunte.

Paola was lovely and very accommodating with whatever we needed. The location is great because you’re on the main street and close to both the beach and restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

We stayed here twice so double the review! Great location down a quiet alley off the main street. Paula is so lovely and made our stay in Mazunte super easy. The room was really clean and decorated beautifully. Very friendly cats at the property too. Highly recommend. We would stay here again in a heatbeat if we ever return to Mazunte.

Our only wish was that it had AC but we were able to survive with the two fans.

The property was just perfect for what we wanted. The host was so sweet and thoughtful. She had considered everything and put every effort into making sure we had a comfortable, insect free stay. She is a ray of sunshine and an absolute joy to deal with.

Excellent location just off the main lane through Mazunte, 50 yards down a tiny side lane but very quiet. I am an incredibly light sleeper but didn't hear any noise from the lane and slept really well. Paula, the owner, was fabulous. Lovely room with ceiling fan and another floor fan but I never needed it. Room looks recently renovated. Would highly recommend.

lovely little apartment with ventilator for the hot nights and comfortable bed. perfect, central location, yet quiet. Paula made me feel right at home with her warm welcome. Definitely recommend!

Paula is super friendly and helpful. The communication with the host is very fast too. The room is cosy and it has two fans and a fridge to store some food. The Internet is fast and the room is quiet at night. Close to the beach as well.

- Fantastic welcoming host, Paula. - Bottled drinking water provided for the duration of the stay. - Amazing location just off the high street & a short walk to the beach. - Very clean. - Paula goes out of her way to stop the mosquitos from getting you at night, by providing candles & a plug in. You cannot really cook or prepare food there, but there is a cheap and fun bakery called "La Baguette" just down the street :)

Paula is the most loving, caring host I ever met. Her cats are also SO cute. The flat is central yet quiet! I loved it!

The perfect place to stay in mazunte. Tucked away from the main street and the perfect distance from the beach. So comfortable, clean and the fans worked a treat on hot days. Couldn't ask for more. If you are lucky enough to stay here you will be lucky enough to meet one of the most amazing hosts, Paula. In a time of crisis for myself and partner miles and miles from home, Paula went above and beyond what any host ever would. A woman with infinite amounts of kindness. I will never forget my stay here.

Paola, the owner was very friendly and kind and let us check out late. Room is well designed, big enough and has anything you need for a good short stay.

Only potential issue for some may be that the shower doesn’t have a shower head, just a pipe - this isn’t ideal but wasn’t a problem for me. A more secure option for leaving the bags after check out would be helpful as many people take overnight buses - it’s possible just to leave them in the garden which is somewhat secure but not overly.

The lovely lady who lives upstairs was so friendly and welcoming. The location couldn’t have been more perfect (right off the Main Street, so very central but set back so quiet). It was extremely clean and comfortable, and very well secured to keep mosquitoes out (essential!). Protected from direct sunlight so not overly hot (also essential). Really loved this place!

For the price, ac or breakfast included would have been nice, although there’s a wonderful panearía very close by.

Very cute and clean, surprisingly I couldn’t hear the noise of the nearby road which was nice. Fan works very well, I was able to sleep comfortably.

The hostess was very kind and helpful. Attractive, clean and simple room just off the main walking street but far enough away to miss the noise. Minimal facilities but a refrigerator and wifi was decent.

Paula is a star and made me feel very welcome at Casa de Kai. The room was comfortable and spacious and had a large fan that kept the room cool. The fridge was really useful and there was even water inside when I arrived. It is in a great location, a short walk to the beach and near plenty of restaurants. Because Casa de Kai is set back from the road, it is very peaceful at night. I wish I had stayed here longer.
