The room was small and noise traveled in easily. Bed not very comfortable. The outdoor space was not made accessible or easy to use by guests. The room did not have any type of outdoor seating.

It was clean and the air conditioning was good. Bathroom was very nice. There was plenty of filtered water.

The property was well located just beyond the historic Centro. The facilities were safe, clean, and felt like a gorgeous little oasis within Oaxaca. Our highlight of the accommodation were the incredible staff. Ever morning we were kindly greeted in the breakfast area where we would have morning coffee. We looked forward to seeing Daniel each day who was always so positive and helpful!

We didn’t mind being a little outside of the central area (it was close to a very good Telcel store and one of the best restaurants we tried as well). If you don’t like to walk much, you may find it less convenient.

We stayed at Casa los Cantaros for 9 nights on our first visit to Oaxaca City. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel offered breakfast in a quiet area in the courtyard. The staff members were all friendly and very helpful. We felt safe and comfortable there. The location was just north of core “downtown” area, but it was within 10-15 minute walk to most of the popular destinations, and 30 minute to the south most area of the central zone. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Slow internet service. Hotel right next to a school which was loud from 8-noon.

Beautiful courtyard, suite has plenty of space, with kitchen. Safe. Someone always in the lobby to let you in/out. Staff are awesome!

The only arrangement that was a little strange was the (perhaps) excessive security. I understand that the hotel is on a busy street, but the management's guest policy seems a bit extreme. Also, if you're staying in one of the back rooms, be advised that there is a children's school a building over and there will be noise weekdays from about 830 to noon. Other than those things, a perfect stay!

The staff was excellent -- diligent, charming, and very helpful, esp. Teresa (I'm fairly sure her name was)! Housekeeping was fabulous...and the bedroom itself and the bathroom were spacious and very comfortable. One of the better places I've stayed. I also liked that the day desk staff suggested places to go in the area and promoted affordable tours.

We stayed for a week and I must say it was just perfect. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. They really make you feel at home. The kitchen is delicious. We tried all of their breakfast and loved every single one. The location is great it's a 15 minute walk to El Centro and it's far enough for you to be able to sleep and rest without any noise. If ever you have any questions for restaurants or food. Tere who is one of the receptionist is great for suggestions on where to go. She has the scoop on great restaurants that are local and delicious. I will definitely be returning. I will refer anyone who asks because they all made our stay great.

Very Secure, felt safe. staff were great. great location. Significantly better to stay here than at some of the more expensive hotels outside the city because there aren’t as many Taxis out there. the rooms were clean and they also had breakfast available if you wanted in the morning for an extra charge.

The bedroom they gave us was behind a school super loud kids yelling weren’t able to rest, and I did specifically asked for a quiet room. You only get one time free coffee the next days they charge, first time that ever happened.

Beds are comfortable, decoration was nice.
