Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesBeds a bit on the firm side.
Breakfast was good. Since we are lite eaters in the morning we always just had fruit and coffee. Very satisfied.

United StatesThe hotel is housed in an old colonial building. So the double doors to the rooms are quite narrow for an average sized person. Also the door locks are somewhat difficult to operate without practice. Especially if you hands are full of luggage. My room was next to a busy street which could be loud during the day. The bathroom was old and needed to be updated. Saw a cockroach the first time I entered the bathroom. The floors in the room weren't clean. Got a very nasty bug (spider?) bite during my stay which required a hospital visit. The food in the hotel restaurant wasn't very good, the coffee was especially bad.
Good Stay in Morelia – Pet-Friendly & Well-Located! I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Morelia, especially since they allowed me to bring my dog along. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Parking & Location: Street parking was available right in front of the entrance, which was very convenient. The location was perfect for sightseeing—most attractions were within walking distance. Room & Amenities: The room was spacious with tall ceilings, giving it a classic and airy feel. The bathroom was modest and a bit older, but it had everything I needed. Dining: There’s a restaurant in the central courtyard that serves food during the day. Overall, this was a great choice for a comfortable, pet-friendly stay in the heart of Morelia. I’d happily stay here again!

AustraliaHot water took a while to heat up. Our room, which adjoined the covered courtyard was noisy during breakfast as the rooms only windows faced the courtyard. Many of the remotes (TV, Aircon etc..) needed new batteries. Some bedsheets were clean but had stains.
Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. The building and rooms had character. When we arrived we were first offered a tiny split level room with a bed on each level, steep stairs and no seating - Room 3. The receptionist then offered us Room 4, which was much larger, but there was a small leak in the roof. We were then offered Room 6 which we accepted. We appreciated the flexibility.

United KingdomThe parking is a bit of an issue. To unload luggage one needs to double park in the street and the secure parking is quite a way away, four blocks. When we took the motorcycle there somebody else known to the hotel was blocking the entrance inside so we had to wait in the street until they moved their car. I then fell with the bike trying to get over the multiple kerbs into the site but that was my fault. The young lad at the reception needs to go on a training course. His personal skills were non-existant. And we have been practicing our Spanish for seven months. Too many issues with him. However morning staff were great .
The architecture of the place is wonderful. And the breakfast was great. The morning staff were also very friendly. The place is located a short walk from the historic centre which was great fun. With the shutters closed we had a great night's sleep.

CanadaThe only negative is the shower takes a long time to get hot water and it's never really hot, but good enough. There is a smell from the shower and/or toilet, but thus is common in many parts of Mexico. We kept the lid down and the door closed.
This is a great hotel. Our room was large, the bed was comfortable, and did not creak like others commented. Air conditioning took time because the room was large but it worked well and is needed. Wifi was very good. We were on the street side, but if you close the wooden shutters they blocked out all of the noise both in the hotel and on the street. It's one block from San Francisco and 3 or 4 from the man square. Breakfast is good, Between 2 menu choice, we had eggs, beans, bread, coffee and juice.

MexicoA coffee maker in room would have been good. It was old but that gave it character however our room could have used some paint to freshen it up. Breakfast should have been included in my opinion.
Staff were very friendly.

CanadaOur room was very small, with the bed up against the stairway going to the loft, so in order to get out of bed from that side we had to pull the bed out so it was on an angle, then squeeze around it to get to the bathroom, which was very close to the bed on that side. As we are older and often need to get up in the night, this was a real pain. After the first night we asked to change rooms and were moved to a room that had a better layout. However, the mobile AC unit on the floor didn't work, the sink was completely blocked and the safe had no batteries so it didn't work. The sink and the safe issues were resolved when we mentioned them to the staff, and we also were able to get a few hangers, as there was only one in the room when we arrived. The other issue was wi-fi. The listing states wi-fi in every room but this is not the case. Excellent reception in the patio/breakfast area, but in the rooms it was hit and miss.
Breakfast was very nice, served in the courtyard. Staff were wonderful, very friendly and responsive. Excellent location just a few blocks from the main square.
