Wonderful place and close to all necessary amenities in downtown Cancun. Hostess couldn't be more helpful and helped organise a taxi when uber app wouldn't work.

The main door of the house is 24/7 open And the main door of our room was not locked. In the room we found ant , spiders net , mold in the walls. The bathroom was stinky and dirty. The "" pool "" it was dirty, full of tree leaves, And the tiles full of mold. I wish to be able to upload more photos with the Nets and the and the ants

Super friendly host who also lives in the house, sharing kitchen with the three rooms in rental. Interesting architecture and position of the building bringing in lots of daylight and giving a sense of peace. Authentic materials and large communal inside and outside spaces. The room was spotless and the mattress very comfortable!

Such a wonderful place to stay. So homely, welcoming and clean. My room was huge, airy and light and the bed was very comfortable.

Decent space and clean room. Location is far from the hotel area but bus is in walking distance.

For certain essential things like hair dryer and iron etc., which are available in every single hotel, the host took them as unnecessary. I reminded the host to make them available as they are basic to me. The host promised that but never provided until the end of my 6-day stay.

Very comfortable stay. The place ia very near to most pick up points for tours. The shared kitchen space has all the amenities you need. Paulina is a great host. She makes every possible way to make you feel at home. Do not think otherwise before booking the place.

Paulina was a very nice Host. She gave me tips for Food and places to go. She also told me, which busses the best. She is environmentally conscious. Everything was fine and that‘s why I like to stay at a local‘s House. It is close to hotel zone without causing and stress

I decided to stay at Casa Hikuri because of all the great reviews that I read about it, and they turned out to be accurate, I felt like I was at home, and Paulina, the host, is a welcoming, interesting and authentic soul. I enjoyed my stay so much that I came back for a longer stay. I stayed in two different rooms and I loved the smaller one for the ventilation and the nice Feng Shui. The AC also worked great and so did the fan (both were necessary as it was sweltering hot on most days. Also there is a pool which was refreshing and welcome. The kitchen had everything I needed and free drinking water was also provided. It is located within walking distance to restaurants and a large shopping center and supermarket. Although it's in a busy area, inside the house and the pool area was peaceful and quiet!

The hot water in the shower sometimes got a bit warm and sometimes did not stay warm for long. But honestly the climate was so hot that this was not a problem. The shared house other than the bedroom got pretty hot and uncomfortable, but the room was so comfortable that I did not mind. Everything else was minor and not worth mentioning. Overall this place was a gem.

Amazing place in Cancun, Paulina welcomed us very well and was very accommodating!

Owner was very good, supportive and friendly. She welcomed me morning around 8:30 and then supported me for early exit as well.

Was very central to downtown, bus service to Hotel Zone and beach. But most importantly it was across the road from Sani Dental Clinic were I had dental surgery. It was like home from home and was the best place to recoup after the dentist visit. Our host was excellent so helpful and always responded to her WhatsApp
