Clean, comfortable, the owners are really nice and friendly.It is 3 blocks from the main square, it is not on the nice part of Merida but in the 'more traditional' part. The house is a bit old but we did not mind, Jossy and Juan Carlos are very sweet and helpful owners, the 3 cats in the patio are also so sweet. The swimming pool is such a relief for the heath of the city.I reccomend this place .

The owner is very friendly and the house and furnishings are very unique. The location was within walking distance of the main tourist area, as well as the neighborhoods of La Ermita and San Sebastian which are worth a visit!

Catarina en Diego are one of the most wonderful people I ever met! So loving and caring! The building is beautiful and the rooms are spacious! A authentic Mexican place! I wish them both a lot power and strength and we definitely recommend this place

Felt like we were intruding into someone's home and in a weird way. Vibe was weird.

Nice big bed, room and bathroom. Super close to the ADO. The owner was very helpful and carried the bags up the stairs for us.

There were some minor problems with water pressure but the owners were willing to fix and help in every situation if you communicate.

My favourite place to stay in all Mexico!! Owners are extremely nice and good vibe is all around the house! Location is perfectly central plus you get a refreshing pool inside. I stayed in Merida longer than planned and this house is part of the reason why.

That we had to pay 100 pesos to store our luggage when we checked out. But other than that, the hotel is amazing and can't wait to go back.

The big giant incredibly comfortable king sized bed. The rooms were amazing and each room differently painted and decorated. Adorable hotel.

The water in the shower was only hot for most of my shower. Only at the end I had a bit of cold water to change the temperature.

I loved everything about this place. The owners were kind, warm, and welcoming. I really enjoyed my conversations with them. The house is beautifully decorated and very traditional, which I love. I hope to return here very soon! The location was very convenient for walking to Centro, parks, museums, and more.

Overall it was a great stay, but what would make it better would be to supply soap for the bathrooms, better towels, and water for guests. Having to keep the front door locked was a bit annoying too, especially when trying to check in.

The hosts are wonderful - so kind and welcoming! The guesthouse is very unique and furnished with comfortable older items, but very comfortable. Location was great, very close to the main square and bus stations.

There were ants in the bathroom.

Beautiful old colonial building. The building needs some maintenance, though. The room was very big and had 2 windows, which was nice to let some air in. The place is right at San Juan Park, where you can find many good taco stands late at night. The walk to the center is about 15 minutes. There was a pool, but we didn't use it bc there were so many leaves in there. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The cat at the property is so lovely.

Next door is a hostal that does singing (and drinking) starting in the afternoon and stopping at midnight (sharp). I hence experienced a lot if noise, more than you would expect at that location, and it was less downstairs.

Perfect room in the upper floor (there are only 2 of the 5 upstairs), with lots of daylight, large bed and large bathroom. Super nice hosts, it's really a guesthouse more than a hotel. The small pool was cool for a short dip.
