Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesDid not respect my reservation ; I ended up paying 50% more than what I had in my reservation. What is the point of reserving in advance ?

CanadaThere are a few small details that I would suggest updating but would not stop me from visiting again. 1. some paint stains and peeling on the room ceiling 2. shower did not drain very well 3. past reviews mentioned complimentary coffee in the morning but I was told it was 25 pesos. Not sure if it changed or the staff were uninformed. 4. there were ants but they seemed to be just in the bathroom. I wouldn't leave any open food around. Breakfast was a bit expensive compared to what I normally would pay but delicious
The location is amazing!. 5 min walk to all attractions in the Centro area. 5 min walk to the bus station which was really nice. Close to the Zocalo and restaurants. The hotel common area is really beautiful. It is an old colonial building with lovely architecture and an authentic feel. Had Netflix, AC and the internet was good.

United KingdomThe ‘balcony’ advised with the rooms is a Juliet balcony, our room was at the front of the buildings only separated by a few panes of glass with no curtain, so was extremely loud
Lovely spacious rooms and beautiful terrace space

United StatesIt’s a budget hotel, so there’s no fridge/kettle in the room, the wifi was spotty, the mattress wasn’t great, and the noise from the traffic was loud (bring earplugs!).
The location is fantastic. It’s in Centro, and just a short walk to the various attractions in Centro (cathedral, main plaza, Cortes’s palace / museum).

MexicoThe beds were not very comfortable, one of the beds would collapse or give in on the side of the bed .
The breakfast they serve at their inner restaurant is very good, all tasty and high quality food for a low cost. 120$ pesos por an American breakfast which includes orange juice, a coffee, fruit and a plate with eggs and pancakes or eggs and chilaquiles(Mexican dish)

United StatesTOO MUCH LIGHT THROUGH WINDOW. The door to the balcony is made of metal and blurry glass. The bottom part (2 feet high) is all metal, but the rest is corrugated glass with metal frames, so all the light comes through. We couldn’t sleep-in if we wanted. It needs a blackout curtain that blocks out light and heat. The blackout curtain will also help save energy. NOISY STREET since early 6am. Will be better to ask for a room away from the street view.
The PRICE was very reasonable & charming hotel. The LOCATION was excellent. Walking distance to main plaza, shops, & restaurants. The BREAKFAST was very good: fruit, juice, coffee, eggs with ham, or with chorizo, or with tomatoes, onions and jalapeño. All at $90 pesos (13-20 July 2023). They also serve chilaquiles and enchiladas.

United KingdomThe rooms are too hot, and need either aircon or bedside fans. Woke up every morning dehydrated. No cleaning service in the room for four days!
The hotel is set in a really nice old colonial style building with a nice courtyard area. Rooms are very big, and very clean and modern with cable tv and wifi. Great location close to the centre of town. Very affordable prices!
