Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomVeracruz was a bit hot for me. It surprised me a little it was so hot in March. But the hotel was very good.
I borrowed a bike and rode around the town a bit. Cycling along the seafront was nice, I found the original Gran Cafe de la Parroquia with the good lechero coffee. I enjoyed the aquarium. Liliana at the hotel was very helpful and good at English.

GermanyI really didn't like that the room I firstly rented had no window at all and the door goes direct on the sidewalk so you can not let it open (they nicely changed my room for me for a cheaper one, but with window). I also didn't like that the drain in the bathroom work very badly and you need to shower with water going up your feet. The breakfast was poor (one cup of coffee, 3 very little toast bread, a little piece butter, 3 spoons yogurt, some papaya), but there is a nice street stall one block further to have a cheap but much better breakfast afterwards.
The idea of the project and the decoration are nice. The location is Ok, little weird to walk at night, but very near to center and coast (easy to take a taxi at night). I also very appreciated that the staff was so understanding and changed our room free of charge. They have free bikes!!!

● The staff was very friendly and I felt very welcome. ● The bed was very comfortable ● At the weekend you can buy a very tasty Mexican breakfast for very little money in addition to the breakfast provided

Mexicono parking around but it seems to be a very nice and safe neighborhood
the room was completely hipsterized! a touch of paint, some good taste details and voila. the magic of a very good located old house puts you on the center of a nice very moved coastal city but OUT of the traffic “troncones” and loud speakers from some Pueblo business. and the cherry on the pay, they are pet friendly!!! but always remember to be a responsible “papa” or “mama”

GermanyIn general I didnt feel comfortable in the place. It doesnt look like in the pictures, and the concept doesnt seem the same it used to be. The place is very small, not like in the pictures, no terrace at the moment I was there. It seemed like only 3 rooms. The kitchen quite dirty (but have seen worse ones), but the fridge surprinsigly clean. They told me that the chemical smell in the first room came from a fumigation of the tree next to it, but weird to rent it like this. Wouldnt recommend this room in general, was small and dark. Bed sheets smelled bad. I didnt feel comfortable with one receptionist, I was sick during my stay, and although she tried to be nice, she was talking very loud and without a break, although I just wanted to go to bed, and not appropriate to the situation. It was raining a lot and the space in front of my room turned into a swimming pool.. Lots of stuff seemed old and wasnt working.
Building is quite nice and location also. The first room was bad and had such a strong smell of chemicals that a couldnt breath well, but I could change without problems to another and way better room. This one was quite nice then! There was also nice stuff, depended on who was working. Instructions for self check in via whatsapp. Filtered water. AC.

FinlandI was disappointed in this accommodation. The owner is arrogant and because of that we didn’t enjoy the stay. I was forced to pay 120 pesos for four small backpacks/bags that I left on the day of check out for a few hours. I asked the owner the day before if I can keep the bags after check out since I had a bus at 4pm. She nicely said yes and didn’t mention anything about payment. When I came back to get the backs in the afternoon, I had to pay 30 pesos per bag for keeping them in the hostel. For real? I was never told to pay anything although I asked for keeping them in there, and the owner didn’t even look at me when discussing this with the other worker. This felt wrong, I have never had to pay for leaving a backpack in a hotel/hostel and I stayed here for three nights!? Also, some of the rooms are located in a totally different building 3 blocks away so you might end up in totally different places when travelling in a group. Also, the facilities are old and needs to be updated. The area of the hostel is not so nice especially during night time. We had to pay in cash and no possibility for card payment. No mentioning about it before either. Please don’t stay here and give your money to nicer people.
