I went to book the hotel on booking and it said it was US$200 a night and then when it charged my account, it was 300, $300 a night for a hotel in Guadalajara is a complete rip off.

We were not given the type of room I was expecting at check-in (balcony), but after the first night we were upgraded to a very nice corner room with outdoor terrace. Very good customer service with upgrade.

Our upgraded room was huge & comfortable but with a few quirky features (complicated shower faucets & bathroom tripping hazard) but overall very nice.

The high price is not justified by the services and amenities provided. Breakfast should be included at this price. When we arrived, staff were not helpful and would not allow taxi to drop us off by the door. Room wasn’t cleaned even though we were out all day.

Staff could have been a little friendlier! They were not rude, but they could they could’ve been friendlier! Also, the last night of our stay, I went up to the pool, and everything was turned off (lights) before pool closing hours, and the pool was one of the features that attracted me to the hotel. A few items were missing, including an additional robe, a hairdryer and an iron. They did bring them up once I asked for them, but I feel like for such a nice hotel, Those items should already be in the room.

The front desk should be more pleasant and the Pool should have someone there to serve drinks etc.

It was different. But I was not happy that we had to leave a damage deposit The hotel tried to charge for a cracked or broken light and it took the General Manger to resolve. So this spoiled the stay, as the front desk were very rude.

Front desk staff did not have the rooms available at time of check-in. Room service was inconsistent. Only cleaned my room one out of three days. Never had extra towels and bare minimum of a room resources. Towel Soap fresh towels (only one of each felt like it was being rationed same as key cards, which was tacky).

Bar staff was great, helpful knowledgeable and friendly.

The room was a good concept that did not work in the end. The sink was on one divided side of the room and the shower on the other side. The room had several different levels and a confusing layout. My friends were in other less confusing rooms.

The location of the hotel is good for restaurants and sightseeing. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The entire hotel has a cool urban vibe and the neighborhood is trendy.

Frustrating that the rooftop closes at 8- as responsible adults here for work, we should be able to utilize this area when we want. Pool is a bit cold. I feel that, for the price you are paying, the value could be better.

Beds were super comfortable, location was great, wifi great, sauna was awesome.
