The location is very good. Room service was tasty as well. Our shower door wouldn’t completely shut so it would get our bath mat very wet and that wasn’t very comfortable. Also, our plane arrived 1am and before departing I received the message that if we got there after 2:30am our reservation would get cancelled?! That was disappointing, fortunately we made it in time but does that mean that if there had been a delay we would’ve lost the reservation?! Receiving that message made me lower the score from 10 to 8.

The maid forgot to clean my room The water presure was broken and the shower wasn't so good. They had some plumb problems. The waitress ask me to pay the tip in cash because the hotel never gives it to the staff.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very kind. The locatios is perfect The food was good and not so expensive They send the invoice very quickly

The service was slightly inattentive. The air condition wasn’t functioning well. Had to be changed to another room. The first room had a tub much too difficult for my elderly mother to climb into.

I love walking so to me the hotel wasn’t far but compared to others where we have stayed it is a little far from Paseo Montejo and downtown. Other than that, it’s perfect!

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! It had like an abandoned feel so I felt like I was in a movie or something. The hotel is very pretty when you walk in, the staff are super nice and they have a restaurant, a coffee shop that serves Starbucks drinks, a nice pool, a spa, a rooftop area. I really was surprised because it looked like a small hotel but it wasn’t! Our room was so comfortable, the bed was amazing which was exactly what we needed. They greeted us with some towel swans, rose petals, and a delicious chocolate and raspberry mousse as they knew we were honeymooners. The hotel was quiet and lovely. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel needs some remodeling, the rooms doors won't open properly(had to change 3 times in the ceck in because of it), rooms are outdated, they need to fumigate more as there are many cockroaches roaming, even inside rooms. Rooms amenities are very poor.

Very good location and Staff is very nice. Restaurant food is above average.

The next property was under demolition and the machinery (jackhammer) was VERY noisy starting at 8:00 AM and lasting the whole day. The staff forgot to clean my room. When I complained about it nothing was really done to rectify it.

- cleanliness is an issue, e.g., hair from prior guests were found in the shower, the staff didn’t bother when I friendly indicated while leaving the property for dinner. In general, sanitary equipment was in bad shape - the elevator was not working, needed to carry the family’s luggage when leaving, by the heat and humidity, I was ready for a shower when done - the staff at breakfast was some confused, nice but asking back everything repeatedly, it seemed it took for ever

A well repurposed casona into a hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. The location is great and service was good. Breakfast at the restaurant and the cafe are excellent.

When going into our room we saw a dying cockroach in the bathroom. When speaking to reception they just came and brushed it in a dustbin with no offer for us to change rooms. Their excuse was that they had recently put down bug spray. 2mins later we found a second one and this time they decided to finally move us to another room. That seemed to be the end of the problem in our room, however we continued to often see the occasional cockroach around the pool in the main area of the hotel. The rooms were also very tired, the shower drain was pretty blocked. Overall would not recommend.
