Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainThey don't have any system to manage the sunbeds by the pools and beach. They're taken the whole day with towels and no one is using them sometimes for the whole day. The pools need a lot of maintenance, the tiles are coming off and they become dangerous with the risk of getting injured. This is common to all the all-inclusive hotels but it's very annoying that everyone is expecting a tip. I would rather pay more so employees have a better salary and no need to tip all the time for every single service...
The beach was amazing and the location was great. The room has a nice view to the beach and a nice balcony. Some of the entertainment activities like aerobics, volleyball...etc were great.

Canadarooms on the first floor above the lobby smelled like sewer. food was okay we enjoyed the dinner restos (especially the Japanese, Italian and Mexican resto) more than the buffet. drinks weren't strong
enjoyed their beach- shallow and safe for kids, no harsh waves, no seaweed, enough beach chairs. Staff were friendly and always willing to help and there is entertainment regularly that caters to all ages. We enjoy their gym as well! They have Amstar in the lobby that helped us book our excursion and shuttle back to the airport. Walking distance to Mexico's big supermarket chedraui.

United StatesMy only critiques are that the bathrooms smelt of old urine, and they up charged for everything. Even to have a table reserved for my family at the fusion night buffet which was free —- we have to pay an extra $200
The staff were exceptional— they weren’t above and beyond to make my birthday special.

BelgiumThe room smelled a bit funny, the water smells like rotten eggs, for all the benefits you need to upgrade to and ultra all inclusive so certain pools or stuff you can not use. The food was good but you have to wait every time for someone to come and get you to guide you to your table. People like freedom, and want to sit wherever they want... So this is not something you like on vacation...
The staff was friendly, the shows at night were amazing, the food was ok, a lot of varianty. It's worth the money you pay for it

United StatesThe beach was amazing. The staff was amazing. The choices to eat at were amazing.
The air conditioning was not great. Throughout the hotel floors I don’t even think they were air conditioned in the halls in the room never got below 76°F. Some of the food was not that great there were a lot of options and some of the food was great. There was something for everyone and plenty of choices to choose from.

United StatesMy only 2 issues are the beds and the food. Originally I booked a 2 bed room but got a king. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable and there was no microwave in the room. Second: I was expecting the food to be better and it was not. Being that we were in Cancún, the flavors were not there and it was all Americanize, I would have like to have seen the Mexican foods there too. But the bed and the microwave… something has to be done. This place is too gorgeous to have the uncomfortable beds.
The place is AMAZING, the workers are all awesome. When we arrived, they greeted us at the gate and took my luggages immediately and then went over to the front desk. We were then greeted by others there with drinks. Just amazing. Place is GORGEOUS!!!

United Statessome of the food was very basic and some just wasn't good. We know that comes with the territory for all-inclusive resorts at times, but if we could've changed anything, it would certainly be the items on the room service menu.
- We were greeted as soon as we got out of the car. Everyone was polite and we were greeted with champange - The food at the Steakhouse was a 9/10 - The Asian restaurant was a 7/10 - The sports bar was great, especially during the NBA playoffs - The resort itself is beautiful - The beach was nicely kept. The waiters also added a nice touch whenever you needed anything - We had a nice ocean-view room. Those views are priceless. - Water activities are easy to book - I coordinated room decorations with the concierge team (THANK YOU MICHELLE) for my Mr's bday and they knocked it out of the park. - We had an issue in our room (which turned out to be my own user error) and maintenance came quickly to make sure everything was ok. Overall I would stay here again for more than the 2 days we were there. Dreams is always a good idea!
